If you have not been to CR, you better plan on going now. A woman is up 20 points in the elections (40 year old lady that married a previous president that is now 80 + years old).

She is going to make prostitution illegal. Her first target is closing the Delray in San Jose.

300K, 500K. Don't you guys realize you are in Colombia for christakes. I'm not trying to hate on you but wow.

That's true for most of Colombia. But uptown Bogota is a different story. Most affluent Bogotanos live in the Usaquen sector; fashion, restaurants, hotels, rentals, & real estate are at almost European prices. Same goes for hookers, so 300K for a TLN is not too bad actually for uptown Bogota. That's about $150 USD so it's still affordable even for some of the poorer "Wallmart" mongers. ;)

But if that's too stiff, you can always go downtown to the red-light district in Santa Fe. Problem is that area can be dangerous, you can end up losing a LOT more than 300-500K if you're not careful, or just unlucky!

Bogota

Helen/Helena from El Cedro, Calle 82 in Zona Rosa.

It was early about 10: 30pm Sunday night and only one other guy and about 15 girls to choose from who were paraded in front of me. Drinks for me and the girl I chose were 25, 000 pesos each, take out fee 90k and Helena wanted 250k for 3 hours at my hotel but we agreed to 200k.

I'm not one to tell another man how to spend his money, but this place is a clip joint. About a year ago I was walking around Zona Rosa with my casi-novia and a friend of mine who I met up with in Bogota. We were looking for a place to party but everything was closing up. A tout said he knew a place where we could party all night and he walked us over to El Cedro. We went up the steps and inside. They had fancy lights and sofas. Being one of the sharpest knives in the drawer I asked for a menu before ordering anything, as I always do when in an unfamiliar spot. The prices in that menu gave me tears of laughter. Before walking out I asked (outside of the earshot of my girl of course) one of the gentlemen who worked there how much the girls go for and he quoted some outrageous price. It must have been comedy hour in that place.

In my opinion it's not. I have been to Bogota a couple of times and San Jose a few more times. Although, Colombianas are much prettier, Costa Rica has non-stop action which no other place I know of cannot compare. Nothing like stepping out at 4, 5 or 6AM and finding some action.

This is what I did last night when I got into Bogota. Booked it through Kayak.comfor $69 with taxes included. Could not pass that price up. Had to do the usually day rotations to get a good price.

La Piscina was closed. I heard this was the place to go. Sucks. While in the Santa Fa district lots of street walkers (not my style), but some looked damn hot, not like last time.

The cabbie said El Castillo is now closed. That was not that bad of a laid back time killer location. Always one 8 to choose from. Can anyone confirm this?

Went to Lalos Club (Carrera 15 88-33) tel 236-1338. 25, 000 beers. Seemed to be around $200. $300 US to take out. Lots of 6 to 8's. One maybe 2 9's. Some speak english, but they are the 6's. Watch out for the a-holes that follow you around trying to make a buck off saying they brought you there. They would leave you if you are a mark. Over priced, but what the hell.

Went to Hosteria Restaurante J. P. & L. M. Well worth going to. Walking distance to the Lancaster. Opens at 9:30 pm I believe. Slow that night but they still had a few 9's. Well worth going again. I think it was 250, 000 for the chica and 25, 000 beers. Located at Calle 116 No 30-28: Tel 213 69 68.

Casanoua Night Club, Calle 86A No 14-45. Some 8 and 9's. Same over priced place 95, 000 take out $150 to $300 chica fees. Some talk english. Just ask the big security guard. He speaks good english.

Heading to Abejitas this aftenoon. Hope they are open.

My questions to anyone. South America and Central America is always dead for New Years. Everyone does family stuff.

Anyone know what is open tonight? None pros, pros, semi pro places will work. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. That was the price after she got off work at 3am. Til 10am. Yes BBBJCIM. It is close to Andino Mall. About a mile away. YMMV. Just made really good rapport with her and I speak Spanish.

Went to Lalo's recently and was pleasantly surprised. Prices are high compared to what I normally spend. However it was a gift so I was all in. Had a paisa and she was amazing. Don't have a name as it was about a month ago. Alot better price for take out and prices can be talked down. Paid 300. 000 for the night. Started at 500. 000 Drinks are expensive 25. 000 per drink but service can get you whatever you want.

Damn 3 Holes. I think I met that chica on ColombianCupid. She was living in Bucaramanga and all of a sudden she moved to Bogota. Looks just like her and she gave me like 3 different ages in all the time I talked with her on MSN. Supposedly she is now shacked up with a guy from Germany. But, obviously working.
