Well this part was exciting in a way that I had not anticipated.
I went back to Santa Fe after refilling at the ATM at Hotel Tequendama, which btw is the closest ATM to Santa Fe. Walked back to Santa Fe around 1am. Checked La Piscina, girls ok otherwise pretty dead (why do they have a pool anyway? ) Checked Atun also pretty dead, so it seemed like only Troya and La Casona had any type of crowd going. Talked to another Paisa in Troya, but saw the delgadita I liked head out of Troya and into La Casona before I could land her.
So I finished my beer and headed to La Casona, by now it was closing 2am and all the girls were either going home or going to the few open bars. Atun, Tamagochi. I decided to check out other clubs and then head home. El Castillo also closed at 2am so I decided to take one last look at the SWs.
I was walking back along Av Caracas and it was pretty deserted. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention and some hood ran up to me and pulled a knife asking for money. I was inclined to give him the cash I had 50k just to avoid risk of a fight. But when he kept asking me for more, I knew I had to act. As he reached in my pocket, I went for his right hand to strip the knife and get him in an arm hold. He tried to pull his arm away and unfortunately he was wearing one of those beaded elastic bracelets, so I couldn't grip his wrist and instead came away with his crappy bracelet in my hand. At this point, the guy was scared and took off, I threw the shit bracelet at him in anger.
At this point, having no cash I started walking back to the hotel, but to make matters worse, after a few blocks I spotted another pair of hoods trailing me from a couple blocks away. One on each side of the street. Now knowing the signs, I stopped a cabbie and told him I didn't have money but would pay him when we got to my hotel. They cabbie also said those guys were going to rob me, and told me to get in. Away we went and at the hotel, the driver (nice guy from Pereira) let me out and told me not to worry about paying. Great guy.
So I guess my advice is, unless you really know what you're doing (a la Tunguhuarunga) don't get caught walking around Santa Fe late at night. Take a cab and stay to popular areas. It's not worth the possible excitement.

Well day two was a bit disappointing.
Today La Piscina was open but at 9pm not much going on there. Troya was much better, but I noticed many of the same girls from La Casona the previous night were trawling in Troya tonight. My theory is that Casona was great yesterday because it was the only bar open in Santa Fe and all the workers and all the customers went there for lack of options.
So tonight accordingly more bars open but the same chicas just dispersed. This seemed to play out over the night. In any case, I picked a chica who was so petite I worried about her age, but figured to work in Troya she had to be 18. In the light she looked much older. Turned out to be 28, Mariana from Pereira. 40k for 20 minutes plus 5k for the room. She was definitely the smallest girl I have ever "known". Pretty theatrical CBJ, three positions and done in just 15 of the 20 minutes. She's kind of a rusher and I had little resistance today. Afterward I went downstairs again and saw one chica I had scoped the previous night, very thin, not the prettiest face, but oddly attractive. She was busy so I left and visited Atune around 10: 30pm. Very dead. So walked out. Checked Paisas bar. Nothing caught my eye so back to Casona where there was a semi-interesting lesbian show on the stage that moved to customers tables. I guess for 10k they would do the lesbo thing in your face on your table. Even the chicas gathered around to watch. I really like Casona, seems like the most fun atmosphere. Next was another dancer who eventually stripped, poured beer over herself then started inserting the beer bottle, all up and down the stage.
I stood to one side of the stage just hanging out and some girl started dancing with me. I wasn't interested so I told her so, but she kept trying. Eventually she went away and I approached one I was interested in, I proposed we head upstairs but then I realized the cash roll was now missing. I had brought only my pesos and left my wallet in the hotel, but I suppose that made it much easier to slip out of my pocket. I lost about 100k pesos. Not a big deal, but a warning to all to be wary of pickpocketing chicas. Out of money I had to return back to the hotel to recharge.
Now debating whether to go back for a second round.

Posts: 133Santa Fe and Chapinero trip report
Visited Santa Fe and Chapinero hobby areas on a holiday. Many clubs were closed but managed to find some fun.
Started in Santa Fe in the late afternoon hoping to find La Piscina del dia open, however it was closed for the festivo. Walking around there were various girls hanging on corners ranging from scary to doable. The area was a bit dicey but not as bad as some RLDs. I did actually see one working girl sniffing glue out of a plastic bag in broad daylight. All other clubs were closed too, but Atunes said it was opening at 6pm. So I left looking for Chapinero.
I noted it is very convenient to traverse from Santa Fe to Chapinero and vice versa using the Transmilenio.
Up in Chapinero I went looking for Chicas 2000 and Chicas Milenio. I found Chicas Milenio closed, and Chicas 2000 was hard to find partly because the address on the street seemed to have changed from Cr 71 15-77 to Cr 71 14A-27, but also was closed. Eventually I found Chicas Universitarias open around 6pm. One chica there, I forget her name 31, about a 6 or 7 in looks but was pleasant to talk to. At least with the semblance of humanity in conversation as opposed to the wacked out street *****s of Santa Fe. 30k for 30 minutes and this woman gave a great massage. All covered activities. Great fun for the money.
Returning back to Santa Fe as night fell, I found much more activity. More street girls, or girls hanging out in front of ST hotels. Most were old, fat, ugly or all of the above, but I did see probably 3 that were doable. Didn't stop to talk prices, because I wanted to sit in a club, enjoy a beer and recharge for a second toss. I tried Atunes first, bad choice on this day at least, there were about 3 fat chicks only there, so I left. After walking around, I saw a bit of a crowd and loud music coming from La Casona. Upon entering I knew I found the place to be this holiday night. Big crowd of guys mostly locals, and an equal number of girls. Place was crowded and I took an empty seat at a table occupied by a couple young Colombian guys. Many appealing chicas, many looking like normal club girls instead of WGs. Beers were 2500p. I saw 3 or 4 I wanted to pursue. But took my time to recuperate, enjoy the beer and absorb the environment. It turned out to be a good idea, for around 9pm many more better looking girls drifted in. Even though I didn't speak to the guys sharing my table (music too loud) they ended up buying my second round. By now I was pretty worked up from watching the girls on stage and floating around the club, so I toasted my table mates, grabbed a girl I had my eye on and headed upstairs.
Her name is Andrea 21 from Pereira. Delgada, blanca very smooth white skin. Price was better than WT69 lists. 40k for 20 minutes. 80k for 40 minutes no room or condom charge. She was decent for service, but had the annoying habit of asking for a regalito before and after the session. But her look, her tight body, and her fresh skin were all that it took for me anyways.
Overall I had low expectations for Bogota, but I am favorably impressed. There seems to be a large hobby industry with an endless supply of reasonably priced, attractive young girls.
Additionally I spent one day touring the city with one girl I met on LatinAmericanCupid, and have plans to spend an evening with another one met online.
Thus I am inclined to liked this town.

In front of Banos Turcos (Lindas Chicas), Calle 60 # 14-13.
There few Chicas standing in front of the bar and on the corner.
As we drove away we saw Tranies in the area.
The bar itself did not have much to offer. There were two chicas at 10:30pm.

Posts: 1281That area of Chapinero is GAY GAY GAY. Avoid unless you like penis. North and south of there are generally fine, and dotted with small joints all very reasonably priced, roughly same prices as in Santa Fe.

Hello folks,
Pls dont jump on me with RTFF thing, but anybody could give me some info about the Chapinero street scene?
In the list, I read:
1. Calles 56-60 and Carrera 15. Watch for Tranies.
Is it correct?
What calle/carrera exactly? Are girls young or old? Same as Santa Fe?
I am bored with Santa Fe. I'd like to try something new...
I'd be grateful if anybody can provide more insight.
I'll be back to Bogota in 3 days.

Posts: 1026Best Bang for the Buck? All Roads Lead to Bogota!
So, I think I've decided that my next trip to Bogota will be either a layover for a trip to Cali (Avianca) or I'll have a layover in Panama City on my way to Bogota (Copa Air). Any thoughts as to which combo would be best? Cali is the only city I haven't been to of the above choices. I am thinking Panama may be a little overpriced though.

You have 3 bedrooms in an apartment that you rent for $70, $50 and $50. That would be a total of $170 if you have guests in all three bedrooms. But you charge $225 if somebody wants to rent the apartment. Why is that?
