Hey Gaz, I know that little voice in your head, 'yea right' I hear it too. BUT. In Bogota, the need is definitely real for most girls and families. Jobs are almost nonexistent. If they have a degree then a lot of the girls are working virtual but for most with the menial jobs, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing and even prepogos have no place to work. I feel I helped them get some food and pay rent or facturas. We have our problems here in the USA but nothing like many have it in Latin and South America. I have a rule I never break and that is, NEVER send money to a woman you have never met. I know these girls so I didn't have a problem. Pay it forward and create positive Karma.

Very well said. I am seeing the exact same thing in Mexico. It will be real bad. Some of the girls I know have not worked for 5 months, this just can not continue, but it does.

There are 2 come to mind, not sure if this is dated info because I pretty much stick to a few allstar regulars I see. One is Lalos, I think it was on Cra 15, it's been a few years since I was there so can't vouch for the status, I do remember they ask for stupid money and you need to negotiate them down to more realestic number. I can say I meet one girl there that was outstanding the entire time we were together. The second one is Juan Pablos, bar / dance club, lots of women milling around, Cra 18, think there still open and the price is more realistic.

In any case, all bars are closed and may be until next year. Flights maybe back in September?

The SF area has a lot of hot girls tho, So you could meet one and do a quickie and if it's love you can have her visit you for outside rendezvous.

Or Tinder could be good, probably will be big if clubs are all closed. It's a shame I miss seeing the strippers and the lapdances.

My WA box has been flooded by almost every girl I have known in Bogota over the last few years asking for help. The situation is dire for these girls and their families. No Job, no food, can't pay the rent. I did help 2 of my really close friends but you can't help them all. I think anybody who gets down to Bogota in September will be in pussy up to his neck and most likely at a very reasonable cost.

However, because most Santa Fe chikas are not very well intelligent, due to the fact that mane are Venezuelans, today Santa Fe was booming like crazy! I almost did not spot the cops, comparing to 2-3 days ago when they literally terrorized the hood. I agree with Routard, at least on general principle. If a bar gets a reputation as being full of prepagos any girl that's NOT a prepago won't touch the place with a 10 foot pole!

Any nightlife place in Colombia is going to be either one or the other. It's either going to be whorish or not.

You can tell pretty easily if you can differentiate between different accents. If all the girls are super nice and have out of town accents its a dead giveaway.

An Uber driver told me a few days ago that Lido is open now. Cra. 14 #95-83. More expensive than Lalos etc. though and not worth it IMO.

Can you use your expertise to tell us about nightlife venues, differentiating between pick-up bars, dance clubs, English friendly, older women, younger women, places with less groups, etc.

Stopped by my favorite Schwarma wrap stand tonight. Barriers are gone but still tons of cops and no auto traffic.

Santa Fe is like a Hooker Street Faire, tons of streetie Sweeties tonight. I had an awesome session. Wasn't going to but I was talked into.

On a somber note, on the way home I passed a refrigerated police box truck near one of the flop houses. A cop in full hazmat was removing a stainless stretcher, he took into the residence.

Every time I have flown people have masks on. I am not sure the airlines can mandate you wear a mask. What they have said is if you are non-compliant with mask wearing, they can deny you service in the future.

To make it short: there are no such bars or night clubs where pros and regular girls are mixed. And funny, each time someone is asking for it on the Bogota thread claiming that it exists in Medellin but no one is able to give the adresses of these supposed places in Medellin. It is not possible for a couple of reasons. One reason is that no regular girl would go to have fun in a place where are pros and punters. Another reason is that the owner needs to control his business and would not allow unidentified pros to enter in a regular place. There are indeed some pros in zona T looking for gringos but it's a scam. They use scopolamine to rob their victims. Serious places such as Irish Pub would never allow those girls to operate inside their business. If you are looking for pros, for your own safety go and get them in places designed for it and where they are controled. Places such as Gringo Tuesdays or Irish Pub are to pick up regular girls, and there are plenty of regular girls willing to meet gringos. If you want to pay them, you would ruin it and end up without sex. Just don't mix the places and mix pros with regulars girls.

Interesting information about the realities of flying these days.... Things like this make me surprised that masks are not 100% mandated on flights for everyone.

Yes, it will depend on what the airlines perceive as being in their best interests.

Passengers are spaced if the flights aren't full, but I'd be surprised if they are limiting seat sales if the demand is there. Maybe they are, but if it isn't government legislation they are turning away revenue.

The masks I can understand why they aren't enforced on passengers, but if I was an attendant or their union I would be more comfortable under a mandate.

This is interesting because it shows Santa Fe before lock down and after. At 9;30 you can see how they clear the streets about 8 pm.

Although the lock down supposedly ended yesterday so they may let things stay open now.
