How hard is it to keep a couple 100 dollars worth of 4800:1 pesos in your passport folder or wherever for the next trip, especially if you know you are coming back!

I totally agree. I bring my leftover COP back home and use it on the next trip. I've got about $100 worth in my drawer right now. Next trip I have to get rid of the coins. Perhaps remember to carry a handful with me each time I go out and give them to the first mother holding a kid and asking for help that I see.

I don't understand why you want to burn the last of your dineros. I just left MDE with about 350 K. On the next trip whenever you take it if you kept pesos then you could skip the ATMs at the airport.

Under 50 K for a taxi in Bog and 98 K for one in MDE. The bonus for me was I got my pesos at around 4800 for a dollar and now it is just over 4100 per buck. After all if you kept 100 K it would cost you a little over $20 US money.

First off, I can confirm this hotel Estelar Parque de la 93 is guest friendly. The first girl I met from photoprepagos said the reception gave her some trouble but every girl after that was fine. I thought the hotel was good quality for the price too.

I can also confirm Hotel Estelar Parque 93 seems guest friendly. I was just there for 7 nights, although I only slept there 6 nights. I paid the extra night so I could check in immediately upon my arrival around 7 AM and not have to wait for official check in. I've tried avoiding the extra days at other hotels and was denied check in that early every time except once and that was because I had status at that hotel.

I tend to wife up in advance online and I reserved for two (there is a single rate that is slightly cheaper). My girl showed up at 10 AM and hotel staff brought her to my room. I signed for her and that was that. No extra fees. I was with her every day and she spent nights, so not like I had a new girl every day or so, or multiple girls a day. Even had her roommate over for the last full day to enjoy the pool and later enjoy some dinner. No extra fees then either, although we did check in advance. We bought some drinks at the hotel and were not disrespectful of others, although we had the rooftop pool mostly to ourselves for the afternoon.

I found the hotel good for the price and obviously in a great location. My findings are quite similar to Trip Cyclone.

Hello all, doing a tour of Colombia in June to get a feel for the place and see if I might want to spend more time there next year. I have experience mongering in SEA, Tijuana, and a couple other places. Excited to see how Colombia stacks up. Looking forward to trying the agencies, independents, spas and clubs. I'm headed to Bogota later this week, then Cartagena, and finally Medellin. I'll be staying at the Hotel Estelar Parque de la 93 for my time in Bogota, which from some of my prior research seems to be guest friendly and in a nice area.

That's all for now- I've lurked this forum for quite a while and absorbed a lot of the info here, so thank you, and hopefully I can contribute back with some of my own experiences shortly.

I didn't actually end up doing much mongering in Bogota as I wasn't feeling 100% (maybe the altitude?) But I thought I would update with what might be useful for the forum.

First off, I can confirm this hotel Estelar Parque de la 93 is guest friendly. The first girl I met from photoprepagos said the reception gave her some trouble but every girl after that was fine. I thought the hotel was good quality for the price too. I mostly used a scotiabank ATM nearby at Carrera 11 & Calle 92 to withdraw my pesos- it's secure and gives you your cash in 50 mils- as always decline the ATM conversion because your bank will give you a better rate. It's worth noting, I think the hotel will charge you if you see more than 1 girl in a day, although I didn't attempt this so can't confirm.

Secondly, if you're having some performance issues as I was, there is generic viagra available over the counter in Colombian pharmacies, ask for sildenafil cincuenta (50 MG), should only cost a couple bucks per pill.

Thirdly, something that surprised me about the agencies is how flaky they could be- some took hours to respond, one (Bogota Elite) didn't even respond at all (in retrospect, I think maybe because I contacted over whatsapp with a colombian number rather than a foreign number). I had the most luck with agencies by asking earlier in the day who was available rather than just requesting someone from their website.

My favorite girl in Bogota was a woman named Catalina with a bunch of Egyptian tattoos. I would link her ad but it doesn't seem to be up. If you like "alt girls" I can highly recommend!

Went to SF around 530 pm Sat and it was way more lively on the streets than Wed. While it's definitely in the thick of things, I didn't feel particularly unsafe as long as I used street smarts. Lots of street girls, plenty of young natural ones. None my type until I was surprised to see a casa across the back from Paisa I think, which had 4-5 pornstar bodies that I'd rate as 8 or 9's, quoted 80 k for 15. Sure, I could spend less money but my goal was to have as many quality encounters as possible. I budgeted for it and a major reason I chose Bogota. I have zero use for COP after I leave. I will return debating MDE vs BOG eventually but no set trip for at least 4 months. My next trips are Toronto, Cancun, possibly Montreal vs AMS, Frankfurt, and Sao Paolo. So no use on sitting on cash despite the low USD equivalent. I have a Schwab ATM card so no ATM fees, I found bank atms easily in the airport where I'd rather take a large sum in a safe area near security guards and not worry about finding atms at Mt lodging. It's just my preference.

Another thing to note, I expected to see more Americans similar to as I read about Medellin Poblado being gringo district, but I rarely bumped into foreigners or strong English speakers outside of my hotel. Even the main street of SF clubs I expected to see some passport bros, but not one in the hundreds of people there.

I'm just putting down my report. There's a lot of content here, which is great, but with the search function not being the best it's overwhelming for me to map out every spot. I'm aware of Olimpo being nearby but the guys made no distinction of it since I ended engagements quick. If I was here longer or would make frequent trips I would scour the city but I found it reasonable to stick with the higher review, higher volume spots as ratings are subjective and I have very specific tastes. I want to limit every chance of getting burned with low quality talent.

Atonis: liked this spot because I felt less hounded by meseros. Because of this short trip I had no time to flirt and negotiate with everyone. Went to Mezzanine. Was easy to figure out. Went in the back area upstairs first, seemed like each girl was solo. Though 1 offered threesome, but the back room girls were 5's or 6's to me. If free then sure. Went with front room, door 7. Had 3 girls to pick.
