I have had worse luck in 2 out of the last 3 airbnbs I stayed at for a month at a time. Current one was great until it wasn't. No internet for 5 days and a Claro tech is finally coming tomorrow. Luckily I had access to a wifi router that accepts a sim with unlimited data. Airbnb before that was in and out all the time and the wifi from the modem barely reached the bedroom.

I certainly am not suggesting all airbnbs are like that. But if you are from the states, think about what Comcast is like when things go wrong.

Thanks for sharing! Isn't no internet connection an acceptable reason to cancel for a full refund and then try to find another airbnb / hotel?

What do you think about the safety aspect of airbnbs? Not sure what hotels are like in COL, but it seems people are saying there are usually security checking back in when they enter hotels? I don't usually see that in the US (pretty much anyone can walk into most hotels and go up to any room).

Can't edit my previous post, but I'm wondering how fast and reliable are the hotel internets in Bogota? I've found hotel (even high end hotels) internet to be flakey in the US, and airbnbs tend to be better, so I'm inclined to get an airbnb instead of a hotel because I need to work on my computer part of the time I'm there (10 days). But I think airbnbs may not be as secure?

Among the best hotels are Ritz Carlton and Intercontinental. They are all about discretion. I've made friends IE tipped well concierge and front desk managers that have called girls for me in international locations.

The W isn't on their level in terms of discretion or service. Domestically, none of the W's care who you bring up to your room.

Frankly, the thought that you'd have to pay extra to bring a guest to your room at a non all-inclusive place is crazy.

Domestic is different from Colombia. I'm just sharing my experience staying at the W Bogota as well as several other chain hotels. Pre-covid I traveled weekly for work and have all of the status you'd expect, yet they still try to charge me extra after you first +1 at the western hotels. They want you to check your girl in and most are trying to keep up appearances. At the end of the day just call and see what they say. The way I have gotten around it is by making separate 1 and 2 day reservations at the same hotel which allows me to have a new '+1' nearly every day. In this post Covid environment they may be more forgiving.

Very well stated, indeed. As you alluded, its impractical to compare experiences that entail vastly differing experiences and price points.

A much more effective comparison can be made if we eliminate the cost variable. I. e. Compare the outcome of each experience assuming you spent the same amount of money in each case. Now things will become crystal clear very, very quickly. Let's go with 400 k.

Option 1.

400 k SA / Freelance: one awesome GFE session with a smoking hot upper-tier chica at your place or luxury motel for 90 minutes. Likely all services covered, and just one pop (2 pops max, assuming you're capable of nutting again before time expires).

Option 2.

400 k SF SW's: Two 2-hour *threesomes* at your place or luxury motel, with slightly less hot, but more enthusiastic, chicas, likely not GFE, but with unlimited pops, and available BBBJTCIM or CIP if desired; basically the same convenience and room as option A, but exponentially more time and pleasure. Or, you could do EIGHT 30 min sessions in a crap motel instead if preferred, or any combination in between.

To each his own, but when we neutralize / equalize the variables of cost, room, and convenience, you can now more clearly see the tradeoff; it comes down to either marginally better looks / class / plastic surgery (but less service options) from the supposed top-notch chica, or a 500 to 1000% increase in duration, pleasure, provider variety, service options, and number of pops with a SF chica, for the same money.

I'll let you have the marginal increase in looks, match you for room and convenience, and I'll take the 7 to 10 extra pops with BBBJTCIM.

I almost always, if not always, pay afterwards at Santa Fe, however, I speak very good spanish, and am good at convincing them that their payment plus extra depends on their attitude during our fun together.

I've gotten up to leave the room a few times if they demanded up front money.

They've always relented in the end.
