Has anyone had much success with Tinder in Bogotá? As soon as I got here I started swiping right to any chica that was half decent and have matched with zero. I had loads of matches in Medellin which led me to believe that I'm handsome and charming but Bogotá is making me question that.

On a side note, is it just me or are the Paisas far better looking on average than the girls here in Bogotá ? There are surely loads of beautiful women in this city but that says more about the massive population than the average.

Wandered down to Santa Fe by myself last night about 5. 30 pm, it was my first time there but not my first in Bogotá. The info contained here was a great help to give me bit of a lay of the land so thanks to all of those who've contributed reports that make it easier for those that follow.

Initially my game plan was to get my Uber to drop me off at Troya and if I felt comfortable when I saw the area I'the just go for a wander prior to hitting a club. That didn't work out at first because nether my driver or I could find the place so I just got out and had a look around.

The first place I recognised was Paisas and I tried to use that one set my bearings, not realising it had entrances on 2 streets. Had a look around at some of the SW action and unlike Medellin there were a few I liked.

I went looking for Atunes which a number of contributors here have spoken highly of but I get it confused with Atonis which is the first bar I went into. Got myself a Heineken (mental note, drink local beer next time) and grabbed a seat. Within 3 or 4 minutes a fine looking chica came and stood nearby hoping to get my attention. As I'the only been there a few moments I ignored her to examine my options and she wandered off. The selection of chicas at that time was quite ordinary except for maybe two of them.

Went out and did another lap of the SW's and looking for Troya / Atunes and saw some very nice SW's but eventually ended up at Paisas. There were girls of all shapes and sizes at Paisas and I'm surprised the quality wasn't higher, but to be fair I was relatively early. One annoying thing was that waiter that followed me as I entered the bar pestering me to buy a drink, which I did at the bar, kept coming and standing in front of me partially obscuring my view. How do you say "Get the fuck out of my way" in Spanish? Haha. At the time I was there there was three chicas I could have tried.

After another lap outside I eventually found Troya and I hit the mother lode. That place had so many hot women! Seriously, if you cannot find a woman you like in that place you're gay. There were plenty of 7's and 8's and the occasional 9. Doing at least one of those 9's is my ambition in Bogotá. Anyone know were there's more of them? Preferably with BBBJ.

Later I ended up sessioning a bubbly chica (l later found out why she was so bubbly) with massive hooters. Prior to the session I had a dirty lap dance from her for 30 Mil but as a not for all newbies carry plenty of smaller notes for change as I ended up paying 40 . Honestly, there were plenty of better looking chicas available but this one was the first to make me laugh.

In the room she was fun and enthusiastic but kept trying to up sell for more time. Sadly she was a tunnel guts and I failed to shoot so I went outside and found a SW who seemed like fun. I asked for half hour and she quoted 80 Mil, I countered with 50 and she said no so to started walking. Taking only a few steps she changed her mind and off we went.

With the stories I've heard about the SW's from contributors here I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. She was happy and fun during my session and her surprisingly tight fit for a SW had me finished fast which we both had a chuckle at.

There was more time back in Troya but I'the didn't want to session there as I wasn't sure I could bust out another one. Later I had one me session with a Vennie SW who ended up being a dud.

Left Santa Fe about 11.30 in a yellow taxi I just stopped on the street and had no problems. Ill probably head back to Santa Fe this afternoon or tonight if anybody is around and wants to meet up.

One final note on security. The area is definitely sketchy but not unacceptably so if you take some precautions. I had all my small notes and an expired CC in my wallet in my back pocket. Most of my cash was stashed in other pockets and my phone never came out of my pocket except for in a bar / restaurant or to show my taxi driver my address.

There was definitely guys there sizing you up as a mark but all you need to do is not be the easiest / best option. When I saw someone looking me over I looked back. Don't show a wild animal that you're scared. In my opinion by far the greatest threat was from the mentally ill that I occasionally saw. Who knows what's going on inside their heads.

I always have asked if I can take a pic of them. I have never paid for any pics. A lot may not want their face included some have told me no which they may do for others. I do agree that once the info gets out they will expect that for every guy from now on. I seen and heard about guys paying extraordinary amounts for session.

I usually like to take a side by side in the short time room before the antics begin. I've had some willingly take them with me, and I've paid up to 20 K for a snapshot (yeah, I know). The standard price range for me has always been 0. But I guess there are guys that want to pay extra for pictures the same as there are guys that like to pay extra for BBBJ or anything else. I don't understand the concept of extras. If my main objective is to get a girl to give me a BBBJ, DT, CIM and swallow, I'll look for a girl who does that. I'm not paying someone to come, then agree to pay them more for something they might not be able, or willing to do. If she's skilled, she'll do it anyway. If she's lousy at it, you're paying to be disappointed.

Another mistake I see people do is trusting strangers. They meet a hot chick or (a cool dude) hit it off, bring 'them back to the apartment to party, next thing there's a guy with a gun at their door; or they cleverly slip something into the drink and you pass out. Basically, don't trust nobody you don't know well, don't get drunk, don't invite strangers to you place, don't flash money and valuables around, don't stay out too late, don't carry a lot of money or anything you're not willing to lose, don't resist muggers, walk quickly to where you're going, don't walk down dark empty streets, don't linger in vulnerable areas, dress to blend in, don't [CodeWord140] people off, and so on. Certainly there's a cost to going out, leaving your home and country. There's no gain without risk, but you do what you can to mitigate risk, then let chips fall where they may. It's up to you whether the cost is worth it.

You also added in another post that your friend was stabbed when he resisted. This is a basic mistake. I find, usually when someone gets robbed or stabbed, it's because they made some mistake that they probably were not aware of (resisting a mugger, staying out too late, drunkenness, etc.). Your life is more important than some money or cell phone. I recommend if you don't have street smarts, then yes, stay away from Santa Fe; just as people without book smarts are not cut out for the university. I've meet people who have no street smarts who very quickly will endanger themselves, and in the same situation another person will no no problem at all.

Now, to the girls. I go for young, skinny girls who don't look too drugged out. I ended up finding plenty. Many who looked almost Indian. That fit my profile. The two main concentrations for me were the main block below Piscina. Calle 15-16, Cra 23-24 and the corner of Calle 20 and Cra 14 bis. I've spent significant amounts of time in Santa Fe, both day and night; I feel safer there after dark than during the day. After dark, there's a lot more people out and more police, security guard presence than during the day. You're safer in crowds than on lonely streets. And most people are just trying to have a good time. The only weird stuff I've seen is a few arguments, people threatening to fight, and a couple of foot chases. Perception of safety is relative, but those who think it's dangerous probably haven't lived in or spent much time in truly dangerous neighboorhoods, where guns shots are blasting day and night, and you expect to get mugged every time out. Sure, I speak Spanish and can blend in with the locals, so that helps. But Santa Fe is really a walk in a theme park. But if you want to play it extra safe, yes the clubs will give you the security you're looking for (just watch your drink). Chapinero daytime 'casas' are also a safe bet. Also, I don't take my phone to SF, as I don't need it and it's once less thing to worry about. Cell phones are attractive targets for thefts in Colombia, they will kill for cell phones here. Another thing: the sun rises and sets early in Bogota. Currently, the sun sets at 5:40 pm, so there's a lot of time for 'after dark. ' I don't linger past 11 pm as I don't have to since it's going on all day and evening.
