Another good area to stay about 1 mile away from SF in the area north adjacent to La Candelaria.

One high rise building that is new named Bacata has some nice AirBnBs also there are others in nice buildings near there on and nearby Calle 19.

Agree with this location, I've stayed at the Bacata itself, and also down on CL. 23 #5 in the Torre K 5-23 building and others in that street.

If I walk from there down Calle 19 it gives me a different approach to the bars once I cross over Caracas, or, I'll just walk down Calle 22.

Either way, walking from there is 15 minutes or less.

And, there are some great food options in that location all around the no traffic section of La Septima, and some excellent (normal) bars on a walk in the direction of La Candelaria.

One thing that surprised me is that many Banks that in the past let me use their ATMs for cash withdrawals for free (using a CC) now charge a fee. Bancolombia wanted 3% on 600 k max, Itau wanted 2% on 720 k max, I declined both and kept searching. Scotiabank allowed free withdrawal, and also had the most generous limit of 900 K pesos (about 270 USD).

Not sure which other banks allow free withdrawals from their ATMs. An update from an expert would be nice.

Thanks WT and others. Landed yesterday and paid this place a quick visit to unload my stress. At least 10 ladies in line up, all below average, I chose one with a pretty face, but chubby (Tatiana or something), from Venezuela. BBBJ was mediocre, but she delivered on the main event, seemed to enjoy herself and had a sweet personality. A place to visit in a pinch. Damage was 50 k / hh (as quoted on Whatsapp).

Angelica looks exactly like the pics (with the dyed hair) and delivered a very convincing GFE performance with MSOG. She's from Venezuela, said she's been in Colombia only a month. Question: Have the Venezuelans taken over the provider business in Bogota like the Romanians in Western Europe? Or has it been a mere coincidence?

For me they are far superior to the hotel options.

Regarding their location, all are 900 metres or less to walk to La Piscina, for example.

Walking either straight down Avenidia Caracas.

Or dependent on what I'm doing before or after I'll walk down 13 a and cross Caracas at the Transmilenio at Calle 24. Either way 10 minutes or less.

Okay great I want to have the option to bring chicas back and I'm going with a friend so we were leaning the airbnb route.

Bogota was the first city in Colombia I landed. I had zero Spanish skill when I reached Bogota. Woodman gave me a pretty good tour, waited for me during the sessions and showed me all of the clubs.

Its not a big deal once I learned passable Spanish and I did it many times later but I would definitely not have been able to do it in the beginning. He is a pretty decent guy and we still bump into each other in Santa Fe usually showing some other guy around. I tag along him and its also a great way to meet new mongers.

I am going to Colombia in February and am greatly appreciative of the maps for Medellin and Bogota. I don't need anyone to hold my hand though. Actually I won't have time because I will be busy. But this forum is a great resource to me so I will report when I'm back! For those timid travelers who need help. Its a great resource too. Thanks to everyone.

Hi all, I've never been to Bogota, went to Cartagena by my self in May and had a ton of fun. I'll be there Jan 17-26 if anyone else is there. Just a few questions. I've seen Ibis is a good option but everyone goes to Santa Fe for a good time, why is that a better option then getting an airbnb in Santa Fe? Has anyone done this? I'm going with a buddy so I'm not alone and I'm not stupid or plan on getting wasted. Appreciate the advice I'll be more active as I get ready for the fuckfest.

I agree with Nick. If Woodman is going to charge newbies for his little "tours" then the moderators should make him disclose up from his prices. This website is for helping others as brothers in mongering, not running commercial enterprises and taking advantage of the newbies.

This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever read on these forums. I am glad people are supporting Woodman. I've never used his services but to force ISG to police and regulate the tours? LOL. And the guy doesn't even advertise and barely promotes.

Step 1: Learn just some basic Spanish.

Step 2: Walk down Car. 15 from the corner of cal. 24 until you get to cal. 23, scoot down 23, and then loop back up to 24.

Step 3: Approach a girl you like, make small talk, buy at least 30 minutes, don't go over 60 mil.

Step 4: Bang your girl at a nearby short time hotel.

Step 5: Walk out of the hotel with a smile on your face.

That'll be $200 please.

Seriously though guys, if you can navigate a large international airport to find your gate, you can do Santa Fe. Anyone can spend their money how they want to, and if you want someone to show you around, that's your choice. I'm thankful for the expats who share stories on here, they have great info. They should-they live there for Christ's sake! What did you do before this forum, or before cell phones and digital maps? You traveled. You explored. The first time I mongered in Colombia, I walked around (by myself) till 1 am learning the layout. I ended up with a cute 20 yr old with a great bubble butt. I remember it well, not just for the sex, but also for the experience of getting out there.

Now, if you're one of those guys who watches the news reports and believes that the entire world is one big murdering zone, or books "adventure tours" to get a "genuine experience", or have no sense of adventure, then by all means you should get an expat to help you out. However, if you're a traveler, and can navigate those big airports, you'll be just fine.

You seem to be confused about the purpose of the forum. It does exist for us to share information. There are hundreds of pages of information available for you to read. You can even, if you're a paid member, ask questions to different members to get specific answers. Most guys are happy to help. But where does it say members are required to help you in person? Just because you can ask the best way to get from the airport to the hotel doesn't mean I'm obligated to pick you up and take you there for free.

There are plenty of reports from guys who decided to tackle Santa Fe on their own. Some did fine. Some hated it. Some were terrified and couldn't get out fast enough. Most of those people would have had a better experience if they had first contacted someone like Woodman.

You are agreeing with a new comer who does not have PM access while claiming have sent PM to Woodman? What are you agreeing with? I have used Woodman as my guide. He was great and very helpful. He actually saved me money on more than one occasion. It's not much money but he made sure I was not overcharged.

Exactly, or possibly Woodman charges more to those he can exploit. I did send a couple of PMs but never got a price for his "tour". I am sure it is not free. Many other men on this site will be happy to be a Wingman and visit the clubs with you for FREE! I am not trying to start trouble, because he is a great source of information, but if this is a business and commercial enterprise he should be transparent or exposed by the rest of us men.

Not sure I'm of the same opinion. If he makes a buck or a fuck for going out of his way to wingman a noob then more power to him. Think I have some additional reading here to do, but FWIW my interest wasn't meant to stir the pot.
