I seized an opportunity to return to Bogota this month. I had spent the second leg of my two-week Colombia trip last year in Bogota (see my September 2018 posts). My experiences in the Santa Fe red light district exceeded my expectations and left me with the desire to return there and explore it more extensively. I got a good deal on flights that gave me a window of three days in Bogota, which I think is just enough time to devote entirely to Santa Fe. I had already covered the sightseeing and other non-mongering activities in Bogota that interested me last year, and I had already explored the city's other mongering options in Chapinero and the far north and concluded that they were not worthwhile.

A mongering trip to Bogota can be dirt cheap if you play your cards right. The big variable is airfare, so I jumped on a good deal for non-stop Avianca flights between JFK and Bogota. Avianca remains the only airline with which I have not had any major problems so far. The inbound flight arrived an hour early. Avianca credited my LifeMiles account within 24 hours of both flights. I stayed again at the Ibis Bogota Museo, which has reasonable rates of 120,000 to 135,000 COP per night (I have been using Accor's loyalty program). The rooms are small and basic but of good quality and adequate for my purposes. The early check-in time of 12:00 is helpful if you are arriving in the morning, as I was, and they had my room ready even earlier than that, as I had requested during my online check-in the day before. Breakfast is available for an extra 21,000 COP, and lunch and dinner are also available at the on-site Peruvian restaurant. There are also many banks and restaurants nearby. Taxi rides between the Ibis and Santa Fe may be as short as five minutes and typically cost between 5,000 and 7,000 COP. The Ibis provides transport to the airport for 25,000 COP; the taxi from the airport may cost a bit more.

I decided to shift my focus within Santa Fe during this trip. On my previous trip, I went mostly at night and focused on Santa Fe's top nighttime clubs, such as Paisas, Troya, and Fiebre. It was only toward the end of that week that I discovered the advantages of the daytime scene and the street scene; I told myself that I would focus on those scenes whenever I returned. Some guys go to Santa Fe during the day because they think it is safer then, but another reason to go during the day is that attracts different types of girls. The daytime girls struck me as less hardened and artificial and more likely to give good service. The daytime scene may also be better for "girl next door" or MILF types. The top daytime venue is the club Atunes, where I had one of my best sessions on my last trip and on this trip as well. The advantages of Atunes include the lack of overcrowding and noise that one finds at the nighttime clubs, better lighting to inspect the merchandise, better session rooms, and towels upon request.

The street scene can be almost as active in the afternoon as at night, and it seems to shut down at night earlier than the main clubs. On my last trip, the surprisingly high visual quality of some of the street meat exceeded my expectations and tempted me to try it. I overcame my reluctance to try street meat for security reasons once I realized that the club girls were not necessarily any safer in that regard. I thus discovered the advantages of street meat, including lower prices, better session rooms, and a more consistent quality of service. Accordingly, most of my sessions on this trip were with street girls, rather than club girls. I found even lower prices among the street girls this time as low as 30,000 COP, but 40-50,000 COP was more typical (club girls start at 60,000 COP). Much to my surprise, I found on this trip that BBBJ was more widely available among street girls than it was among the supposedly "higher-end" club girls (definitely a relative term in the context of Santa Fe). The majority of street girls that I asked were open to BBBJ, whereas only a minority of club girls were open to it. I was even more surprised to find two street girls that did not charge extra for BBBJ at all, which I had thought was universal among those that do offer BBBJ. I was even more surprised to find two street girls that offered anal at no extra charge (I did not partake, as anal is not my cup of tea). One of them said that offering anal reduced the wear and tear on her pussy; the other one just seemed to be a genuine freak.

Overall, I would say that shifting from club girls to street girls eliminated the extreme fluctuations in the quality of the service that I experienced on my last trip, which had some definite highs and lows. Most of the street girls on this trip were at least satisfactory, but none of them knocked it out of the park like the better club girls, both on this trip and on my last trip. My best sessions on this trip were both with club girls: a daytime session at Atunes and a nighttime session at Troya with the black-haired, lighter-skinned girl in the below photo. That session at Troya would have been even better if the room had not smelled like weed. Troya continues to have the worst session rooms of the main clubs, and it did seem a bit less active than it did on my last trip, but it nonetheless still puts on the best stage show. Paisas has done some remodeling since my last trip and now seems to attract a larger and better crowd of girls than before. Fiebre remains more or less the same as I remember it from my last trip.

The amount of turnover in the talent pool in the six months since my last visit initially surprised me. Then I realized that a place like Santa Fe must be a meat grinder, and I would imagine those girls that can move on to greener pastures probably do so at the first opportunity. I recognized only a handful of faces from my last trip and only one with whom I had a session on my last trip. Many of the few girls that I did recognize from my last trip were girls that I had either interviewed and rejected or had decided to avoid entirely. I would guess that the ones that stick around a place like Santa Fe longer than others must be more hardened, which might have been why I had previously avoided them in the first place. In any event, perhaps this high rate of turnover in the talent pool is advantageous for mongers in that it provides a steady stream of fresh meat. I would note that most of the few faces that I recognized from my last trip were club girls; I only recognized one or two of the street girls. I suspect that many of the club girls are more seasoned and hardened, whereas the street meat may also be fresher meat.

One advantage of Bogota over Medellin, and perhaps of Santa Fe over the other venues in Bogota, is the greater diversity of the talent pool, with girls catering to a wide (r) range of tastes. I also found that the Santa Fe street scene may appeal to a wider range of tastes and have a wider variety of types than the Santa Fe clubs. I continued to develop my taste for girls from Cali, whom I have found to be among the most consistently good performers. This trip further increased my desire to visit Cali, even though what I have heard and read about that city and its mongering scene does not inspire much confidence. Much to my surprise, I found only two girls from Medellin, and they were both among the weaker performers on this trip. Venezuelans remain numerous both in the clubs and on the streets, but, as on my last trip, I did not find them any better or worse in terms of appearance, service, or pricing.

I learned on my last trip that most Santa Fe girls are not photo-friendly, and that even just asking for a photo can irritate them. I only asked some of them for photos on this trip; most of them refused, but here are photos of two girls that allowed me to photograph them. The one with the black hair and the light skin is a regular at Troya and a solid performer that I would highly recommend.

I would return to Bogota if and when a good deal on airfare makes it possible to arrange a dirt cheap trip of a few days. With that said, I think that Medellin offers greater and more consistent quality, so it remains a higher priority for me, especially for longer trips. My experiences in Santa Fe have nonetheless fueled my growing interest in Tijuana, which sounds similar and is one of a few major mongering spots that I have not visited yet. The women from Cali have continued to impress me, but what I have heard and read about their city suggests that I would find it rather less impressive.

I've spent a bit of time in Bogota but don't know the scene too well. I've used a couple of agencies that were terrible bait and switch and clearly catering to gringo tourists, and know the scene in Cartagena a bit better. Where can I find the best looking escorts in Bogota, price really isn't that much of an issue as I only have two nights and would only want one girl a day. I have a suite at the Sofitel so escorts to the room are probably better. Any escort agencies that can be recommended? Or independent escort sites? It seems there are so many out there it's hard to focus the search. I've also been told that there are 'managers' so to speak who manage girls where everything is a little bit more discreet and these girls might be semi public figures such as models etc (I know a girl I met in Cartagena who lived in Bogota who told me she had a manager who arranged bookings, however she is now married and moved on).

Any help would be appreciated if anyone has some local knowledge. It would be really good to get an idea of where to start, I've read through the forum a bit and I'm not sure the clubs are for me. I like to be able to whatsapp an agency or a service and be able to give my preferences and then go from there.

Just finished up my visit to Bogota and must say that I really like the city. As always, there are some great posts (probably some of the best I've seen of any city) by some members for Bogota. These are just my brief takeaways from my time.

Medellin – a lot of people recommended I visit Medellin when I was in Bogota, so definitely on my list next trip, but it got mentioned so much I thought it was worth mentioning in this post too, for anyone who has extra time in their planned visit.

Accommodation / Location – I stayed very far north, near Park Virrey in an Airbnb. Personally, very happy with the location and the apartment itself. Almost all apartments will have a doorman, but the ones in my building never questioned girl / s coming to the room, so all good on that front. There are lots of restaurants, café, banks and shops near the area in the north. As far as clubs go, lots of options here too. I even walked down to Chapinero on a few occasions.

The general rule of thumb is that the north is safe, and as visitors you wouldn't want to stay anywhere south of the city center (I. E. Parliament, gold museum etc). I honestly did not see any need to go that far south anyway.

Travel – Taxis are cheap, ubers are cheaper and involved less communication in Spanish, so my preferred option as usual.

Banks – As everyone else has pointed out already, Servibanca is a good options as far as ATMs go. Plenty of ATMS sprinkled over, but the green ATMs had the highest withdrawal allowance per previous reports.

Phone card – I just went to a little kiosk near where I was staying and the deal was pretty cheap (apologies, but can't recall exactly how much, maybe $30 k or something for my week).

Right, now to the options. I was aware of:

- Agencies.

- Day brothels.

- Strip Clubs.

Agency prices tend to start around $200 k -$300 k an hour. I ordered a girl on my first night, just for simplicity and got the girl I ordered but wasn't blown away. Soon realized that the prices were on the higher side and wasn't great value for the city's standards. But, did provide some good quality options and girls tended to be more to my preference compared to some clubs though. These were my shortlisted agencies after going through Routard's list:

Day Brothels – as per Routard, quite amazing really – options were no worse than the clubs but not too many caught my eye – prices are $30 k for 20-30 minutes to $70 k per hour. Only shame is that for me, most girls were 5-8 only. But, depending on your preference, there were certainly girls that would be 9's in some people's book. If there were better options here I would have stayed the whole day there.

Checked out three locations, and quality is generally similar. I may be wrong but I think Chicas Milenio has relocated. There's a place across the road from where it used to be which the best option I found was. I went to the place I thought Milenio relocated to (a few times) but sadly wasn't amazed and found the place across the road from the old location better.

Clubs (excluding Sante Fe) – Visited Pussy House (a bit early), La Forty Nine, Lido and Lalo (also note Lalo's international shut down, so only the one right next to Parque Virrey is still open).

Prices vary quite significantly, but truth be told I didn't actually take any girl to the rooms upstairs, only back home with me. The first girl I talked to quoted something like $300 k on premise and $500-$600 k to go home, which seemed like way better value for me, so I got transfixed on that idea.

Sadly, most girls I met tried to sneak home early, and didn't spend the whole night (more on this below).

Quick summary of the clubs:

- Pussy House – was there a bit early, but still quite a few guys and quite a few girls. A few that caught my eye as well. Drinks were quiet cheap as per Routard. As a gringo, services leaned on the pricier side of what Routard quoted, but not way more. Didn't opt for anything here, but was quoted $600 k all up for exit I think.

- La Forty Nine – A lot of girls here, but only a couple that caught my eye, one shy looking girl just sitting and waiting and her friend that joined her later (who ended up being much better in almost every single way). Exit fee to club was $200, $550 to the girl to exit for the night till 5 AM, think we left around 12, but they ended up asking if they could leave around 2-3, I was exhausted and didn't really feel like arguing. Service was a bit lacking, don't quite regret it, but also not blown away either.

- Lido – Very nice place, some nice girls, but not like, massively better either in my opinion, but SO expensive. I think I was quoted $400 k an hour. Ended up getting exit for $800 k or something, but she ended up changing the story to say it was 2 hours only but stayed a bit longer (maybe closer to 3). I mean she was a lovely girl and I had a good time, covered everything as well. Beers were $50 k and so was a water. Can't recommend this one unless you're looking for the nicest club to splash cash for the sake of it. Before you ask, actually went here with a local, so nothing was lost in translation and gringo tax would have been somewhat minimized.

- Lalo – Came here WAY too early and the place was deserted. I expected prices to be around La Forty Nine levels but can't attest to quality. Got gringo taxed massively and paid $60 k for a beer, couldn't be bothered to argue.

Sante Fe – So I walked around during the day and honestly wasn't particularly impressed so kind of wrote off visiting again. But the translator / night life guide I hired strongly recommended us going to a few clubs there, so I agreed. Very, very glad I did. I think I went on a Sunday or Monday, and it was still lively enough (you may have to go to a few clubs to find the busiest one for that night etc.) Visited La Paisas and Fiebre. Very wide choice of girls, different types so you should find something you like. Dances were like $20 k and 20 minutes in a room was $70 k – not as cheap as a day brothel, but still amazing. Beers were very cheap too, although I can't quite recall exactly how much.

A lot of girls wouldn't do private dances and would only go upstairs. Not a huge deal, but I thought getting a private dance was a good way to gauge what the girl was like. The girls also didn't seem to be constrained by the club – a lot came in and out seemingly as they pleased.

Could not recommend visiting Sante Fe enough, probably the best night out in a red light area I've had, but a few things for gringos to keep in mind:

1. I'm not convinced I would want to go to a proper club by myself – having people with you is way more fun.

2. I know no Spanish, so other than relying on google translate, communication was often quite limited, or you're suddenly stuck with the one girl who speaks English the bartender introduces you to.

3. I felt perfectly safe arriving in a taxi and going straight into the clubs, but I've been told Sante Fe is not 100% safe at night in the streets outside of a club.

The guide I had with me was honestly amazing, and I would highly recommend him – he helped translate and negotiate, and was great fun to hang out with in general. Everything you hope to get in a night time guide – all for $40 k an hour. If people are interested in his contacts, let me know and I can post separately or message you if I ever get private messaging back.

Takeaways:

1. If I had more time, during the day I would try and hunt down a few extra day brothels.

2. At night, Sante Fe was honestly my favourite, although certainly no harm checking out some of the other strip clubs. But if their prices seem a bit high, just leave, you're not going to be blown away by the service anyway, better to try and find a girl you like in Sante Fe and get her number or something.

3. Would honestly recommend a guide for gringos looking to go out – especially on a busier nights as English speaking bar staff / girls was quite limited in my experience.

Also apparently eating empanadas on the streets was recently made illegal – so watch out for that too I guess.

Sangnyc21 et al, you all have points. I've read his posts on the MDE thread as well as here now. As I understand it, Sang has specific requirements for a girl's looks and is willing to pay for it. There are girls who I think are quite hot but probably will not meet his definition of a 9 or 10. While I've seen his kind of 9's, and possibly 10's, in Medellin's Centro and Bog's SF, it does take time to filter and he's not willing to do that. Let's just leave it be. Right now, you're all just talking over each other.

Also one thing to point out a lot of 9's and 10's are so because of makeup and clothes. The Northern Clubs for example, I can tell their faces were caked in makeup. I didn't go to Gusto's in MDE but I'd imagine if a girl knows she's only taking one guy that night, she'll spend more time doing her face. In Centro / SF, I can definitely tell the girls don't spend as much effort on that, probably because they're fucking multiple dudes a day. Take some of the 7's, put them in a nice dress and spend an hour or two in a makeup room and they'll look like Instagram models.

Welcome to Colombia. Judging Colombiana actions by foreign standards won't yield consistent results. Just because a lie benefits nobody, isn't a factor in the decision whether or not to lie. It's part of their nature.

The reality about girls in North clubs and girls in Santa Fe lies between the 2 extremes. There are some who won't work in Santa Fe, at least not until they can no longer pull customers up north. There are plenty who will never get a chance to work up north.

There are also plenty who work both ends of the city.

I have had 2 services with this agency in prior trips to Bogota. Nowadays is the most popular one. Its 100% reliable, if you become a coustomer they send pictures with faces to your cellphone.

BTW I will be in Bogota next weekend 3/22, looking for wingman.

My guess is these girls travel for the sake of traveling. Financially it's stupid imo.

Lido's is literally the biggest ripoff in Colombia. You may as well just give your money to some street criminal.

And I don't know how many times I'll repeat this. Yes there are a few girls who work both areas but definitely not ALL of them.

People wanted me to report on the southern clubs so here it is. I prefer the southern clubs rather than the Santa Fe Clubs. After 2 1/2 months I realize its the SAME girls at the Santa Fe clubs every day. They are hardened hookers. I prefer the clubs in el 1 de Mayo clubs a lot better. There are a lot more clubs and girls here. The girls are more GFE and there's more value. I find that there are a lot less fake breasts / butt in the south unlike Santa Fe. Its more natural. The turnover rate is also high in the southern clubs, so you can keep on going and find different girls there. I believe its because girls don't make that much money here, they just work in these clubs temporarily until they get a real job. Unlike in the Santa Fe clubs, the girls who are attractive earn more money relatively so they stay a lot longer LOL They also don't give much GFE because the whole city of Bogota (10 million people) comes to Santa Fe. People from the North and the South go to the Santa Fe clubs so they don't NEED a loyal clientele as there is more demand. The southern clubs are also in the same avenue as normal clubs where people party so you will see groups of people (regular girls and boys) with dress shirts / nice dresses and nice shoes walking around this avenue. I recommend the southern clubs but can't recommend you guys going there alone or with each other for that matter. You have to at least go with a Colombian or two, who know the area. There are many thieves and thugs here that have little regard for peoples lives.

May favorite in the area is Guadalajara Club. They stay open after hours two for the night owls.

There's also a RLD in Venecia, and another one in Fontibón
. And another small one in Bosa Piamonte (not recommended, very far, low quality).
