It is not Jet Blue. I do not know why the fuck some airlines take the liquids from you before you get on the flight. I have no fucking clue. I have flown United once and had them take away liquids and another time did not. Spirit did the same thing. I do not recall American searching for liquids though, but it is so hit or miss, I cannot swear they do not.

Yeah, we all know to not bring liquids through security but when you buy it in the airport? I do not get taking that away. It is a five, six hour flight and you are restricting people from bringing on liquids? That seems like a health hazard and really stupid to me. It would be one thing if the flights provided free beverages, but most do not now.

Your anger is misdirected. You have a beef with the US government, not the US airlines. The US govt makes the rules for all flights going to the USA.

The Tequendama Suites is a much better and GF.

This is good to know. I accidentally had the uber drop me off at Tequendama Suites but then had to have staff help me walk to Tequendama Hotel, which is about a half block away. The two hotels are connected by a long hallway. I'll likely try Tequendama Suites next time.

I'm back in the you. S now. Loved Bogota but was surprised about the lack of foreigners. In 9 days I only heard 1 person speaking English. Met the Venezuelan from my earlier post again the day before I left. The return process was much easier than expected got my COVID Test at some hospital in Zona T for 110 K pesos. Already thinking about returning at the end of the month as airfare is cheap from up here.'

ATM with 900 k limit is per transaction, just withdraw 900 k remove card & repeat, did it at airport when I landed no problem at all.

Why are you annoyed with the airline when you tried to break the rules bringing a water bottle through?

I do not have any debit card, and will not use my US credit card. I do not have bank account that I can use in Colombia.

I have Bluebird Amex Prepaid card but I am not sure Moneypass network works on Colombian ATM. Anybody has used moneypass network with any ATM?

I will have to rely on converting American dollar bills to COP. Need help how best to do it at better exchange rate and at which locations.

I will get some currency at airport, but do they offer good exchange rate at airport?

As far as ATMs go, I'm not sure why no one mentions it but I use Banco Caja Social, with my Capital One debit card I can withdraw money there without paying any fees whatsoever

For whatever reason, none of my debit cards worked at their ATMs. BBVA, Colpatria, and Davidienda apparently all have no fees on their side, I've used the first two so far, and had the same issue I did w/ Caja Social. I'm in country at the moment and will put together my thoughts once I get home as I have a bit more to do, but very positive impressions so far.

Hotel Oceana Bogot (I am asking about this one).

I haven't stayed there personally, but I have walked past it many times. 54 k to bring a girl up to your room sounds pricey tho. At Hotel Europa I believe it's 25 k extra and the rooms are nice. If your on a super tight budget and want to save money check out Hotel Bogotá and Hotel de Lujo.

Always decline the exchange rate that the ATM offers you, then by default it will charge you in COP and your bank does the conversion rate (which for me is always pretty close to the official exchange rate). This is true at any bank ATM that you go to in any country. Never be afraid to hit decline when it offers you a conversion rate.

Santa Fe? Or would you prefer another one and why?

You probably wouldn't like the hotel I stay at, it's cheap but it's lacking of hot water and the TV is a small crt type TV from the 90's. If your trying to stay close to Santa Fe I would recommend Hotel Europa on cra 13 and calle 23.

Yes. I stay there sometimes when I am with a chick that is not a hooker, but for each additional person besides, you have to pay 54,000 in advance.

Ahh Bogot. Where do I begin?

El barrio Santa Fe in Bogot is a monger's paradise. I have a love affair with this place. I think it's the sheer beauty of the chicas, mixed with the grittiness of the calles that infatuates me so much. Many beautiful Venezolanas here. 40 k COP is the going rate. Plenty of street talent and plenty more chicas inside the clubs. I recommend getting a hotel on cra 13 or cra 10 and walking to the zona, I would not recommend staying at a hotel west of Caracas. In my experience it's been easy enough to bring girls back to my hotel (cra 13) for longer sessions for 50 k - 100 k COP. Many great food options nearby too, I highly recommend cra 7 and Calle 19 for restaurants and bars.

I've been here about 7 or 8 times now, and besides Medellin, I've yet to find a better place for mongering, it beats Tijuana or anywhere else in Mexico by a mile.

The condom companies have done a good job of brainwashing those in Colombia. I have went bareback many times by telling the girls I promise not to cum inside. Most intelligent people who have cured a minor STI/ STD for only a few dollars and in 24 to 48 hours are not afraid of not using a condom. Especially since other major major ones are very difficult to contract. What the girls are deathly afraid of is pregnancy because most girls can barely afford to feed themselves and get little assistance in Colombia.

Add them on Facebook and promise them not to cum inside and they will usually skip the dirty condom. Cancer causing Condoms should be illegal actually. The fact they are not shows the evilness of the world.

If you must wear one the super delgado one from DuRex isn't bad. The Air 2 is better but not available in Colombia.
