If you don't like the shady atmosphere of Santa Fe which is understandable, a good alternative to the northern clubs is la 49. Safety, facilities, service and line-up is as good if not better as in the northern clubs, waiters are not pushy, do not try to ripp off with the drinks. Even if it's also pricy, at least it's a fixed price scheme to go to the room and as a gringo you will be better off here than in the northern clubs where they will try to double the prices with tourists. I discussed once with the manager of La 49, which is a green flag that the guy is close to his business, hs a long term view (it's probably one of the oldests club of Bogota), interracts with the customers and cares about customer satisfaction.

This makes perfect sense to me. Lalo appears to be on its last leg. The major difference in my mind (and with a mere one week of experience) between the northern clubs and Santa Fe is safety. The girls are pretty much just as hot in both places, although I did get a general vibe that the northern girls are, on average, a notch higher on the social scale and a notch or two more intelligent. Case in point, my girl from La Piscine del Norte was very intelligent in conversation and obviously educated. I doubt she would risk her own safety going to Santa Fe when she can lounge in a classier joint uptown with classier customers. The price premium isn't huge if you are planning an hour rather than a quickie, but the pushy waitstaff and tax "scam" is going to scare off customers like me. If Santa Fe were "safe", I would skip the northern clubs altogether, and tolerate the less refined but equally attractive girls of Santa Fe. If I owned a Santa Fe club like Troya, I would just start a limo / taxi service direct from your hotel to my club with door to door bodyguard service, eliminating the safety factor.

I complained in Lido and they showed me that in very small at the bottom is written that you have to add 19% VAT. These clubs just don't get it with their army of pushy waiters. Prices of the girls became unsane in the last years while in the rest of the city talent was growing with the Venezuelan influx. As a result, a club as Lalo that used to have the greatest line-up of the city is now desperately empty. If they don't react, they will close or become a ripp off joint for the ocasional visitor. Trouble is that even the ocasional visitor knows where to get better options thanks to internet. So i gess most of these places will die in the next coming years.

I assume so. The best approach to take would be walk to each of the mirrored doors, stick your head in and look at the girls, keep repeating until you have found the girl you like. Do a short session with her in the cramped room as a trial run. If you are happy, then get her number and WhatsApp her later for a visit to your hotel. I think pretty much any working girl in Bogota would be happy to come to your room. It's safer and cleaner than any venue and she will get to keep all of the money rather than share it with the venue.

With regards to the tax "scam", the beer was 37. He charged me 49. That would be a 33% tax. Sounds like BS to me. Probably thought I couldn't do math. I would have made a bigger scene and demanded the overage returned, but I know myself well enough to know that it would get my adrenaline pumping and I'the be pisses off for the rest of the night. Better to lose $3 and call it a "fucking ripoff" to his face and calmly leave. At least the girls know why they didn't have any work that evening.

Any place has to charge VAT of 19%, but in a commun restaurant or bar the listed prices allready include VAT. In these place you can't speak to the manager, which is another red flag. I would not advice usying credit card, there have been reported scams in Lalo International when the name still was Porky.

The girls in Mezzanine are not available for take out and vast majority will not accept to see you after working hours.

I ordered a beer, which was on the menu for 37 k. The waiter didn't bring back my change. I waited about 10 minutes for the benefit of the doubt, even though I was the only customer. When I did ask for the change, he brought back 1 k. When I gave him the stink eye, he told me it was the taxes. I said "rip-off", stood up and left my beer on the counter. WTF. Their only customer, and they try to scam me. If the tax is going to be ridiculous, then put the total cost on the menu. Bastards.

l also went to the Mezzanine. Ended up at the one at the very end. Found a girl that suited my fancy. I would say the girls were mostly 6-7/10. My girl was about an 8/10, super enthusiastic and very GFE, so I was very happy with my choice and got her number for later. The rooms are insanely tiny. Literally about 28" wide and 6 feet long. Trying to not fall off of the 18" wide "bed" required acrobatic maneuvering. If you are at all claustrophobic, you wouldn't be able to go here. Seriously! Smallest "rooms" I've ever seen. Was quoted price of 80 K. Told her I wanted lots of DFK and DATY and she told me an extra 30 K. Total of 110 k ($35) for an hour of top notch service.

Summary so far:
Best service: Mezzanine.

I was considering Chicas 2000 tomorrow during the day (or a repeat of Mezzanine), then maybe La Piscina Del Norte in the evening.
Also considering La Celestina for one evening. Several of the girls are listed as either basic English or fluent bilingual. I would love to find an enthusiastic GFE with BBBJ, DATY, and DFK who can speak English fluently. The holy grail.

I've been here for a decade and a half now, live right next to la 1 de mayo, and have even taken other forum members there.

There is no risk in this part of town THAT YOU won't FIND ANYWHERE ELSE IN THIS CITY OR THIS COUNTRY.

As a matter of fact, the north of Bogota has MANY MORE incidents of people being slipped Mickey Finns than the south does.

People need to stop spreading obvious lies on here.

Given my experience over the last week, I would go to Abadubai Spa. Open 9 a-9 p. Has anywhere from 4-6 girls, all quite pretty, young, and I was quoted 180 k for covered sex / BJ, 210-240 k uncovered BJ. Clean nice facilities and you can even have a shower after your session. Ideal for a quick daytime layover. Guaranteed good experience.

I had tried Lalo's directly across the street from B3 Virrey hotel earlier in the week and was not impressed with the small and minor league lineup, so tonight I started with El Padrino. The girls were 7-8's. There were approximately 20 girls, not bad on a Wednesday night. I ordered a beer, which was on the menu for 37 k. The waiter didn't bring back my change. I then went to La Piscina del Norte and was confronted with about 30 girls staring at me and smiling. I was one of only 2 customers. The other guy already had a girl, so I had the entire lineup of girls staring at me, waiting for me to pick someone. Talk about pressure!

I picked a blonde thin girl with delicate facial features who had big beautiful eyes and an engaging smile. She was not dressed like a hooker. Most of the girls were. She is a law student and finishing school in a year and a half. She told me that it was her first day, and I thought she was kidding. Then, when I asked about the bar fine, she didn't even know how it worked. She had to ask one of the other girls, so she's either a professional bullshitter, or it truly was her first day on the job. We talked via Google Translate for a while and were negotiating a price, when I noticed that she had a subtle cold sore. Fuck! I am not bringing herpes home with me, so I had to cut it off right there. It was late and I didn't want to go through the process of finding another girl, so I left without a girl. Oh well.

The lineup at La Piscina del Norte was pretty good, with mostly 8-9's, and the atmosphere seemed like a cocktail lounge. No stripping or down and dirty action, just pretty girls milling around and swaying to the music. I would go back and try again. Wouldn't bother with El Padrino again, the bastards.

Ok. So I went to Abadubai yet again yesterday morning. Only two girls to choose from, Maria and Vicki. Vicki was in prior lineups for me, and didn't want her to think I was going to reject her yet again, so went with Vicki. Again, great experience. Maybe it is just Colombianas in general, or maybe it is the higher pay and classier surroundings, but these Abadubai girls just completely embrace the "girlfriend" experience. They melt in your arms, and respond like they are in love. It is just amazing how consistent my sessions have been.

Vicki has a nice slim figure with slightly chubby cheeks about be cups. She wouldn't do BBBJ, only covered, even for a propina. That was the only negative. She tried to charge me extra for DATY, which I adamantly refused. I did DATY anyway. I did, however, give her a small propina at the end, and made it totally clear that the propina was not for DATY, but for her incredible enthusiasm. Never submit to paying extra for her pleasure. That's ridiculous.

Also, if anyone is planning a trip to Bogota, I was very happy with B3 Virrey Hotel. It has a "boutique hotel" feel, very modern / clean, DJ in the lobby in the evenings, solid breakfast buffet. The Servibanca ATM across the street will give you 780 k pesos per visit, and the "Drogueria 85" a block south on the same side of the street has generic 50 MG Viagra for 8 k for 2 tablets. I bought 20 tablets for 80 k ($24 US).

This morning I went back AGAIN to Abadubai and had a repeat session with Brianna. Since she had bugged me on WhatsApp for a repeat, I thought I would see how much value I could receive. I negotiated a 60 minute session with DFK, DATY, covered FS, prostate massage with both fingers and toy, and BBBJ / CIM for a total of 260 K ($78). Followed that with a decent massage and hot shower. Total visit 90 minutes. Batting a 1000.

If I were here for a month, I would seek out other options and lower prices, but for a short visit to Bogota, the consistency and overall value at Abadubai can't be beat. I do think that I have almost run out of girls, however. Only one, Maria, that I have seen in a lineup that I haven't tried.
