Greetings all,

I have been in Bogota the past week and enjoying the scenery (even with the rain last week). Started off the week at Ibis Hotel and eventually made my way up to Zona Rosa (Hotel B3 Virrey) for the weekend. Both hotels are guest friendly. On Thursday I saw a guy sign in a guest at Ibis in the middle of the day, shamelessly, in front of everyone. Whoever you are. Respect.

Last week SF was pretty good. I'm not one for the streetie sweeties so I spent Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night going back and forth between Troya, Paisas, Fiebre, etc. As continuously reported by everyone else, the quality is pretty great. Usually at least 20 girls in each place. I personally prefer Troya because the waiters are less aggressive and the quality of girls is generally pretty high. The overall highest quality IMO is at Fiebre late night. It seems everyone flocks there and unless you pay for a table there's only standing room. This was the case even on a Tuesday night. Prices are pretty standard across the board. Expect to pay 70 k /20 min regardless of which club you're in. Also expect one of the cleaning ladies upstairs to ask you for a propina.

Friday I went up to Zona Rosa to enjoy the weekend and explore the traditional nightlife scene. Walked to Abudubai Spa and was very much impressed with the lineup. Laura was excellent - 180 k /1-hour all inclusive. As previous members have stated, the quality there is very high and I definitely recommend it. Walked to Mezzanine 14 as well and wasn't as enthused by what I saw and decided to pass on a massage there. The quality was 5-7 but I felt like I was being swarmed immediately as I walked up the stairs. It made the whole experience uncomfortable so I just walked away.

I spent the rest of the weekend actually going out in Zona Rosa. The nightlife on Friday and Saturday is pretty incredible. Started both nights off with a beer at Bogota Beer Company then went around to the 500 other bars in the area. I can't really recommend a specific one as they are all pretty good. If you're into dancing, music, and pretty girls then this is the place for you. I brought back a non-pro I met in one of the bars and had a great night. Don't be afraid to approach girls in groups of guys. It's pretty common for everyone to socialize here. If you don't speak Spanish then you better know how to dance / salsa. Unfortunately, I can do neither. I just got lucky.

I have one more week here and will be heading back down south tomorrow through Friday. Staying at Ibis again.

Safety: I was with friends in Zona Rosa but was alone in SF. Watch yourself around there and don't stay out too late on your own. Inside the clubs are safe, but don't get lost trying to wander around finding new places. My advice would be to stick to the main streets, and when in doubt only walk down busy streets. If you are walking back to your hotel from SF as I sometimes do keep one hand in your pocket, move with a purpose, and keep your head up. Once you reach the main streets outside SF there is generally military police or regular police presence. Every night I walked back to Ibis I saw military police on the main road going North-South. Once I saw them I knew I was good, but there's a 5-7 minute walk once leaving SF where you're moving at your own risk. When in doubt, take a taxi. *I'm a young, fit, black male so I'm not exactly the go-to target, therefore take this advice at your own risk*.

Language: I don't speak Spanish. I know the basic phrases to ask for beer, the check, and "how much. " Getting around isn't as hard as some make it. Either use your phone as a translator, find a waiter who speaks English (many do in SF), or wing it the best you can. Download an app (Google Translate) that does instant translations and you'll be fine.

Transportation: Ibis is about a 10-15 minute walk from SF depending on your pace. From Hotel B3 to Abudubai Spa it's about a 15-20 minute walk. 25-30 minutes to Mezzanine 14.10 minutes or less to the local clubs in Zona Rosa. I like walking but I've also used the Easy Taxi app. I didn't load my credit card info in there, just input your address like Uber but at the end of the ride pay in cash. I haven't had any issues with it so far.

Lastly, as much as I'd like to meet up with other members, I didn't get a membership before departing on this trip so I don't have the PM feature. My mistake. I recommend others get the membership in the future to avoid doing SF solo.

I can use Viagra, but it clogs up my nose and I need to breath if I am having sex. Even with Viagra I am only good about every other day.

Testosterone is more for overall youthfulness, does help in that department too. There is tons of info on line.

Given my experience over the last week, I would go to Abadubai Spa. Guaranteed good experience.

This is the tourist area? So this Spa is around Calle 11 & Carrera 7, and if I stayed at an airbnb within a few blocks I'd be in a relatively safe part of town? I could walk there during the day, or anywhere around la Candelaria in general during the day? I'm kind of a night guy which is what I like about BKK, I've never felt in any danger there, but since Bogota is cooler maybe I can be a "day" guy. LOL.

The past 3 nights was spent in centro Medellin checking for new street girls and club chicas, I never thought I would say this but the selection is the same old same old, nothing new and with the one exception of a cute 18 yo that I took back to my apartment for the night I am really missing the quantity and quality that the SF area has to offer.

I've tried to tell hard-headed people before. Although I think that Medellin is the nice city, the mongering scene in Bogota is better. Bigger, broader, and better. Check it out!

If you don't like the atmosphere of Santa Fe which is understandable, a good alternative to the northern clubs is la 49. Safety, service and line-up is as good if not better as in the northern clubs, waiters are not pushy, don not try to ripp off with the drinks. Even if it's also pricy, at least it's a fixed price scheme to go to the room, no risk to pay the gringo rate. I discussed once with the manager which is a green flag that the guy is close to his business and cares about customer satisfaction.

Definitely agree. The couple times I went to Bogota la 49 a place I have yet to be disappointed. Last time I went to Lidos a girl asked me for 900 k for one hour.

But that doesn't beat a girl in Medellin on my last trip asking for 550 usd.

These girls must be turning into comedians.
