After a lot of travelling, I have concluded that the differences in thinking / feeling between people from different countries aren't nearly as big as the differences between men and women. And as far as culture goes, differences between countries are less significant than differences between social classes within countries. If you are middle class, you are more likely to have a successful LTR with a middle class Colombian than with someone who is working class from your own country. And if you're liberal, you'll have more thinking in common with a Colombian liberal than with a conservative from your own country.

I am now seeing a Venezuelan girl from an impoverished middle class family. I started talking to her on SA last year. A large number of girls cannot hold a conversation beyond: "Hola amor, como estás? But this one I could talk to. Her spanish spelling is better than mine, which cannot be said for many of the girls I chat to. She was at home in VZ with no options in life, but recently made it out to Bogotá. I am always taken aback when a chick says you don't understand because you are not from my culture. Or this is not working because we are from different cultures. I then ask, well what happened with your last boyfriend. He cheated on me, or he was an abuser, or he didn't show me enough attention, etc. But aren't you from the same culture? Works the same way with religion. They want a guy that is Christian. But wasn't the last mf that was beating on your ass and cheating on you Christian? I think I am too logical for many people.

P. S. I did get an MBA in International Business because I like to study different cultures. But I have found that when male-female relationships are concerned, except for a couple of customs, cultural differences really play no factor. You can see this when people in the military go all over the world marrying people from different countries. That corporal in the Army can not say kiss my ass in Korean, but he and his wife and their 2 kids seem to be getting along just fine.

I have decided to switch to Bogata simply because the cost of fucking in Pattaya has shot through the roof. Soi six, BF, LD and whatever the lady gets being around 1600 baht or $176,000 COP as to what I am reading around $40,000 Cop for a sweet streety Santa Fe girl. I've been to both this year.

That is because you are doing it wrong. I have told you guys time and time again negotiate 700 for the girl and pay 300 for the room at the bar. No idea how you get to 1600 unless you are buying a bunch of drinks.

As far as better value, that is all relative. First you have to compare apples to apples. I would say a Santa Fe casa or street chick would be akin to Beach Road chicks. In Santa Fe you can pay 40,000, but on Beach Road you are going to pay at least 55,000 (500 baht). But of course a vacation consists of more than how much it will cost to stick your dick into some pussy. You could find some $40 chicks around where you live that would lessen the need for you to travel at all if that was the only thing that counted.

You can't just ask what is the better general value, because in Pattaya you have the 22,000 COP crack shacks to the 1 million COP gogo girls. In Bogota you have the 30,000 Santa Fe chicks (I am sure there is something cheaper somewhere that even I do not want to see) to those expensive ass zona rosa places where it will cost you 70,000 just for a beer.

Listen up to all your "hopeless romantics", first I must admit that I too use to fall into this category but here in Colombia the very best advice that I can give anyone is do NOT take anything or anyone serious, especially the chicas. I will be the first to admit that I had to learn this life lesson.

I don't give a shit how well they fuck you in bed or how they can look into your eyes and your feeling that they are touching your soul, how when they tell you that "age difference does not matter" or how they treat you when around in public. Enjoy it ABSOLUTELY but never take anything serious.

Just move on to the next girl once the one you're with goes south. There are more girls out there than anyone could possibly get with. Why would you stick with one? And, every time you come back, there will be new ones. This is a game of "taking". Once you start "giving" you'll be giving more and more, and that's when they take advantage of you. If a guy really wanted to, he'd have a better chance finding something real in the small villages, rather than in the cities. Head into eastern Colombia and you'll see what I mean, but most are too scared to do that. If you want to stay in the cities, just love them and leave them.
