I was looking for places within walking distance from my rental. I am staying in an AirBnB right between Parque 93 and Zona T, so I am sure that there are a ton of great places. I found a listing for OSK Peru, which looks great, but struck out when trying to find a traditional steakhouse. Any suggestions?

La Brasserie on Carrera 13 between Calle 85 & 86a. There are also a few other upscale restaurants on that street. OSK Peru is on that street.

Cell phone roaming: I found that my Simple Mobile (ex Trac Phone) that uses the T-mobile network is doing south America roaming without problem. I love the Simple Mobile, it's awesome, you could have an America Roaming SIM without ever presenting your ID and pay everything in cash. This is quite a nice touch. Anyway, only problem is that the T-Mobile network is always flaky everywhere. Even in the USA I have white holes and here in BOG I see the bars frequently disappear while my PY sim card that logs onto the ATT network in the USA has way more stable bars.

Uber works in strange ways in Colombia, they didn't even show me a price. But I jumped and it worked 25 mil COP to Chapinero.

The driver said everything is open again. Saw people in restaurants. Seems like mask wearing on the street may be required. I usually hate that but I ended up doing it just to avoid testing the waters. But even in shops I see people without masks, they just put them on if someone else comes inside.

I went to Pussy House for the second time in about 2 months tonight. It was pretty good a two years ago and went several times then but I had a bad experience about 2 months ago and didn't write a report thinking it was "just one of those off nights". I went again tonight and can confirm. Avoid this place.

First, the business model is not to sell chicks for sex, but to load the semi-hot girls into booths to ring up the drink prices for the locals.

First time posting, although I have been lurking for the past year or so, as I have planned my trip to Bogota over the past few months. So appreciative to the wealth of information here, I never would have pulled the trigger on my trip without it. I went ahead and made plans to visit for July 7-15, and so I was pretty thrilled when I saw that almost all of the daily restrictions were lifted on June 8.

As far as I can tell, there are no restrictions on purchasing alcohol any longer, and restaurants and bars are business as usual, subject to a Maximum Capacity (restriction, which is to be posted at the entrance. In fact, the only places that I can see that are closed are discos (a win for me) and stadiums. Other than needing to wear a mask everywhere, I really can't see that there are any restrictions in Bogota.

Are they still doing cedula checks? Or can anyone pretty much travel anywhere, just as long as they are wearing a mask? (They don't mention anything about cedula checks, only that the curfew has been lifted.).

Also, any suggestions for a good place to take a date for dinner? My general plan was to meet with girls from Seeking (SA), and I was looking for places within walking distance from my rental. I just want to say that the Santa Fe experience is definitely not what it was, Seems like it is a bit depressed. Less traffic and less SGs. There are still hot girls but not as many as before.

I guess it is the economy, less locals coming out then before. I went out tonight and it was OK. It seems like last few times it has been ok but not great.

At the airport a few hours ago and I did not fell like waiting in line for the ATM so I thought it would not kill me to change a $ 10 bill for the taxi for pesos from those bandits. At the window there was a sign saying one dollar =3600 pesos. This was better than the rate I just got at the ATM a little while ago.

Last time I went to Las Divas in November 2019 after stepping out of Pussy House disappointedly, it was still open, but the interior space was walled up on one side and reduced to half of what it was before. It was very small with only a few girls inside, and quality was not desirable. I left shortly. My experience before that visit at both places though not comparable to Santa Fe, were not bad at all. But unless I stay close by in Chapinero, these clubs will not be on my priority list.

Some of my best pre-pandemic experiences in Bogota were take-outs from Troya, Fiebres and clubs close by. I agreed there were some 8's in the mix. Sad to know only 5's are hanging around now. I did go to Mezzanine once and had a wonderful encounter as well, but the tight cubicle is a big drawback for me. So never went back. If you are looking for a safe environment with lot's of eye candies, Lido is the #1 place, but expect to pay top pesos for that. I enjoyed Lido before it turned into a shark tank. As discussed here a few times before, some Lido girls also worked in Santa Fe clubs. I personally knew and met a few in both places.

Santa Fe is really the best and most convenient place for our hobby in Bogota in terms of # and variety of chicas, prices and operating hours. But you have to constantly watch your back, and be alerted with your surroundings at all time. If you stand out, don't believe those who said it is just like any other big city elsewhere. Especially in this crisis, I believe there are even more desperate characters looking for easy targets in Santa Fe.
