Yep, everything goes very fast: Starting Monday NO NON RESIDENT FOREIGNER IS ALLOWED TO ENTER IN COLOMBIA. Any Colombian or resident entering Colombia has to go in self quarantine. I understood a lot of flights will be cancelled next week. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Colombia to return as soon as possible to his homecountry before there will be no flights anymore.

I knew it was going to happen, I have a very mild fever and I am sheltering en casa. Although I don't think I have and I if I do, there are tons more people who do.

Hopefully, this shall pass in a few weeks.

Price to quality debate:

I recently decided to sample some of the high end hookers (300 k / h average price) for 'research' purposes. On the positive side, all gave solid performances. Unfortunately, I can say the same of 80% of the 80 - 150 k hookers I have seen so far. But I could not deny the convenience value; easy scheduling, and you get exactly what you order. My conclusion is that they can be of value if you have very limited time (on business) and can't afford to wade through countless ads trying to weed out potential scammers. More like using the hotel mini bar.

On an light side, many of the agencies fronting the expensive hookers tend to pitch them as college students, doing this only 'part time' ostensibly to pay their 'tuition'. How original! And the ladies will pitch the exact same story when they show up. I guess the fantasy must endure very well.

Meaningless coincidences, awkward moments, and surprises or not:

I was very horny on Monday and had three sessions in row at different places, all three ladies were surprisingly called Alejandra, not sure how common this name is in the mongering scene.

Visited Mezzanine one afternoon and as I was a getting the prelude massage, another dude entered the next pigeonhole with his date. In a moment the dude started groaning so loudly, it got very awkward. Mr. Johnson shriveled faster than the head of a scared turtle. My lady turned up the music, but it didn't help much. Luckily for us (and obviously the lady who was servicing the dude), they dude was done in a minute and a half tops. Made me feel proud of myself.

Corona virus and BJ: An energetic lady visited my casa, and she was a passionate lover, lots of enthusiastic DFK and the typical GFE stuff. She got real wet and and moaned convincingly as I fingered her. When it came the time to BJ, she insisted on CBJ, which was a surprise. I asked why. She said because she's afraid of corona virus. Go figure.

Went to Mezzanine a few days back and was surprised when my lady provided a delicious BBBJ without much prodding or the standard up-sell. I reciprocated by giving her a repeat visit. She upped me one by giving full blown GFE. I love Bogota!

Visited Santa Fe, lady population has gone up quite a bit since I was there last. Place is still seedy as hell and I just don't get it.

Other stuff:

As others have mentioned before me, getting good healthy food in Bogota is a challenge. Everything is deep fried, or a hamburger. Went to a high end cafe the other day and asked for something light. They suggested a sandwich. I said fair enough. Unfortunately the sandwich bread was brioche, made with 50% butter, with a taste to prove it. Inside was cheese, generous creamy sauce, bacon,. You get the idea. I feel like every time I leave Bogota I need to go on a broccoli diet for 2 weeks to clear my system.

Bogota has perhaps the best coffee houses I have visited globally. Avoid the chains, and visit the small indies that roast their coffee in house. One of my favorites is Kiri Cafe in the Parque 93 vicinity. When in Usaquen, try Cafe Quindio. Premium coffeee at its best.

There is plenty of delicious colombian food to try on: two of my favories: Consulado Paisa Cra. 11 70 A - 44 my favorite bandeja paisa and the soups are very good or try club Colombia in av 82 between carrera 10 and 11 specially for brunch. It a bit expensive for locals (55 K all you can eat if I remember correctly), but you can taste lots of delicacies like tamales (small ones so you don't fill up), different kinds of empanadas, different kinds of arepas, special juices like lulada or exotic fruit juices, calentao, morcillas, etc etc.

If a person 。。。, came down with the CV, that person would be sick for a week or two, and then back to daily life. They might go to work and say, "Hey, Bob, there's a hell of a bug going around. I hope you don't catch it. " And that would be the end of it. ..

Unfortunately, there will be no going to work after a trip, for all Australians, Kiwis and more countries to come. As of today my holiday is off just a week short of flying out. Mandatory 14 day isolation on return means no employer will approve any holidays, stat. Even if they were approved they're cancelled now.

I think we will all be waiting this one out at home, and hopefully there will be a hell of a travel boom once its run its course.

I have a fever, if I have the virus, many do. I doubt there is much testing going on so in Colombia.

Sorry to hear you have a fever. You better lay low for a while. The screening process is being done at customs. If you get sick once you're in the country, there won't be any testing as of now. I have plans of coming down the end of next month if the protocol policy hasn't changed for US citizens.

Since I'm on the subject of the CV, I'll get out my little soap box. Yes, the CV is dangerous if you're elderly and / or have a preexisting compromised respiratory system. Of course, if a person falls into that category, every virus is dangerous. Let's take a step back and look at this. If a person never got caught up in what I call "CNN news syndrome", never heard all the media hype, and came down with the CV, that person would be sick for a week or two, and then back to daily life. They might go to work and say, "Hey, Bob, there's a hell of a bug going around. I hope you don't catch it. " And that would be the end of it. The media has made this sound like a death sentence for everyone, when in fact more people are dying from diarrhea around the world, but we don't hear about that. Like any virus, it's going to spread, and it has to run its course. I swear to Christ, people have lost their minds. I can't even buy toilet paper in my town because the shelves are bare, like the end of the world is coming.

Anyway, I'll put the soap box away. On a positive note, we'll all be back to the hobby after this passes. We just have to wait it out.

For those of us traveling from the US, we are still free to travel as of right now. You'll need to fill out a form before entering, and get "checked out" on a screening process. If you're fine, you'll be free to travel without restriction. Here's the link to the form:

- The border with Venezuela is now closed.

- Starting Monday, non resident foreigners cannot enter the country anymore if they have been in Europe or Asia during the last 2 weeks.

- Colombians or residents entering the country and coming from Asia or Europe have to stay 2 weeks in self quarantine.

As a consequence, most flights between Colombia and Europe will probably be canceled starting next week. For info also, yesterday a Spanish citizen who didnt respect the self quarantine has been deported and cannot return to Colombia for several years.

For those of us traveling from the US, we are still free to travel as of right now. You'll need to fill out a form before entering, and get "checked out" on a screening process. If you're fine, you'll be free to travel without restriction. Here's the link to the form:

I'm heading down next week and would love to know where to find these "casas". The last few times I've used agencies and have not had a bad experience yet. So far I've been able to get pics and videos from all of them and this last time the girl and I hit it off pretty well. She invited me to come hang out with her when I come back. I'll probably take her to dinner and then head back to her apartment for a session. LOL.

Also, I've yet to make it to Santa Fe. I just haven't drummed up the courage to go by myself yet.

Anyway, any help appreciated. I'll be coming back here every month for the foreseeable future unless this Corona shit ruins it for us.

Several daytime places in Chapinero around transmilenio stops, there is a PDF here? One place maybe not mentioned is the strip club Casa Show on Cr 8 between Calle 19 and 20 downtown.

Also a casa in an office building downtown on Cr 10 just a few doors north of Avenida Jimenez on NE corner.

Anyone been in Italy, Spain, France or China in the last 14 days has to stay in auto-quarantaine (at hotel for non residents) during 14 days at arrival in Colombia. Immigration will ask which hotel or adress will be used for autoquarantaine. Foreigners who don't respect this autoquarantaine risk deportation, Colombians risk prison.

Any social event with more than 1000 people is forbidden in Bogota during one month.

What is the current weather situation there. I noticed it's about 20 cooler than in Orlando Florida. Should I leave the tank tops and shorts at home and concentrate on pants and long sleeves. Am I overthinking things Woodman I hit you up on email but I haven't got a response. I'm looking at heading to Bogota for a few days next week.
Also I wouldnt dare wear A fresh pair of all white Tennis shoes so the DR because of the terrain. Could the same be said about Bogot. Ive been to Medellin twice and didnt see a problem.

Temperature at night in Bogota will drop into the high 40's. Daytime highs might get into the low 70's. Tank tops and shorts aren't common in Medellin. In Bogota they're rarer than an 18 year old virgin.

The shoes should be alright if you watch your step.

Yes, Yellow Alert, I have been showing some guys around. I feel like we are in the last hurrah for a while, The CV is coming but not here yet (I hope). At the least bars and clubs will be shut in the future.
