Was all over Santa Fe tonite (Sunday) -- Showing a friend around, there around 6;30 it was really slow on the street.

You don't need to be specific and call her "'guest"', which means that you have no sentimental relation with her, in other words that she is a hooker. Just call her "novia"'. And it's not of the business of the hotel that each night you have a different girl friend, it's not your fault that you are so popular. ;)

Things are pretty clear and it's like this in any hotel in Colombia: no problem to bring a girl unless she is minor, has to show ID and there is a different rate for single or double occupancy of the room. There is no difference if it's your wife you know for 30 years or a hooker you met 5 minutes ago. If you don't want to pay the double occupancy, bring the girl during day time or check other hotels which charge the same for single or double occupancy. Colombia is a free country and people respect private life. Don't feel unconfortable for these rules, it's not about morality it's about safety. You don't need to be specific with the hotel and call her "'guest"', which means that you have no sentimental relation with her, in other words that she is a hooker. Just call her "novia"'. There is nothing wrong coming in town, registring alone at your hotel and that the girl friend who lives in town comes and join you later during the night. There is nothing wrong registring as a single at your hotel, going out, meeting a girl, love at first sight, and bringing her to your hotel room. You don't owe any explanation at your hotel about your private life and hotel is not allowed to judge if you if your emotional relationship with your girlfriend is sincere or if she is just taking advantage of your financial ressources. Do as they would say in Colombia: "has el gringo'', which means basically do as if you are dump! Why would you care what the employee of the hotel might think about you?

So I ask again: can anyone report that there is a hotel in Colombia where access of an adult chica with ID was denied?

Just ask the hotel price for single occupancy and double occupancy as some hotels indeed have different prices for it. When you bring a girl, it's not written on her face if she is a pro, a casual or regular girl friend and nobody cares anyway. Any guest needs ID even if it's your wife you have been married with for 40 years.

I might still try to book and see what happens, but it's disheartening. Now, I've checked some Airbnb listings, and some better ones state outright that guests are not allowed. Kinda sucks.

Viagra cures the symptoms, not the cause. Are you possibly one of those guys who can't get it up with a real woman because you're too jaded from years of consuming porn? Don't buy Viagra unless you are a shareholder in Pfizer and want to see their profits grow. Buy sildenafil which is the same thing without the brand name. It is made as a generic by different laboratories in Colombia and you can get it at any pharmacy. I recommend Sildenafil Genfar 4 x50 MG for 6. 000 COP (2 USD). Compare that to the price in your country and you will know to what extent big pharma has captured your government.

You probably don't need 50 MG unless you have serious ED. Try taking half or even a quarter tab.

That is how it is done in Colombia. My second time there it was me and 2 friends. We were going to Cali but had to spend the night in Bogota. Rather than get 3 separate rooms, we opted for 1 room with 3 beds. Did not know until checkout the next day that it was the same price had we gotten 3 separate rooms. Your best bet is to book on hotelsdotcom or something and say 2 people. That way you can avoid paying the Colombia way for the additional person.
