I am always wary of it too. But a hooker in Thailand that I used to fuck said she pays for the premium Tinder because somehow she gets to pick out the big fish. Still not sure how that works. But I was giving her $30 for all night. She said she was able to pick businessmen and shit off Tinder who did not have the time to hang out and hunt like tourists and they would give her up to $300 for a couple of hours. So it was obviously worth the investment.

That is one more example of the price discrimination and how you actually can get a girl at place A for cheap and the same girl at place B for way expensive. Well since everyone else has done their reporting, I might as well do mine. (If I can remember the details.) Me and my dad came into Bogota from Barranquilla on the 4th. Uber was at surge pricing: 28K downtown to San Francisco Hotel, and I had to wait for it to drop that low! Chilled out and relaxed a couple of hours waiting to hear from Kazeu. He wanted 300 $, which is 900,000 pesos to be precise. Its surprising he had the nerve to ask such an amount as a fine for not wearing a mask. They assume American tourists are loaded.

If it happened to me again I would probably do the same thing. His objective is to extort money from you, so he is not going to listen to any justification. Try to negotiate and pay as little and get out of there. I don't see a point in complicating things by trying to do right in an area like SF and when you don't speak the language so well.

Okay. I have this thing figured out now. I don't think he wanted $300. I think he was just rounding off and WARNING you that the fine is $300 since the fine actually is 936,320 pesos ($266). You could have said okay gracias and walked off. But instead YOU OFFERED money! LOL. At least you were not the guy saying take me to the police station! That would have really confused him. You got me over here dying man. And y'all are up here trying to give the cops a bad name when he was just trying to look out for you.

Then he takes his phone out and types out 300$ is the fine. I was confused. I asked him is it 30 mil pesos. He say no and types in 900 K pesos in his phone. I told him I don't have that kind of money on me and I can give him 50 k.
