Hi mates,

I had to cancel my previous plan to visit Colombia, the only thing stopped me was I speak only English! Here we go!

Given the fact my Spanish learning is not going anywhere. I have decided to travel anyway. Form May 22nd to May 29th. Can be a little flexible with dates, but planning to book the ticket in 1 week time, other wise its going to get expensive.

My plan is fly directly to Bogota from London.

What will make sense? Split my stay between Bogota, Medellin or Bogota / Cali. Or Bogota, Medellin and Cali.

I have a simple question, how far I can survive in the mongering space with English!!

Meanwhile, I am also trying to find some local help. A chica! Who can speak some English. For some help.

Hope to get some direction from fellow mongers.

Wouldn't bother going to Cali. Medellin is a great city definitely worth your time. If you want a 3rd city I'd do Cartagena.

You'll definitely struggle without some spanish though. Almost no one speaks English. Don't let it stop you from going, but I really would recommend doing some duolingo and learning some phrases. Colombians are easy to understand.

Planning on going to Bogota for a week sometime in May. I'm semi-fluent in Spanish (half Venezuelan) so I can speak with locals. I'd like to know if my budget of $1000 is alright in terms of food, transportation, and entertainment for that week. Not counting airbnb of course, planning on getting a nice apartment for myself. If it's too low then that's fine, I'll save up a bit more.

I may go to other cities if I find out how or have a friend, but not counting on that to happen for my first time in Colombia, haha. Totally willing to pay a tour guide for help too.

I figure my budget, including lodging, at $200 per day. That's based on $40-$50 per day for lodging, $25 per day for food, $25 for daily transportation and $100 for entertainment. For me, those numbers are high, except for lodging. I usually spend $10-$15 daily on food and less than $10 on transportation. My entertainment expenses run from $20-$70.

Whether or not your $1000 is enough depends on your appetites. You planning on doing 4 girls every day and only eating in the expensive restaurants, you might be short.

$1000 a week is fine. I figure a reasonable minimum is $100 a day if you economize and eat at locals places.

English speaking staff, full of like minded mongers and there's always someone willing to help show you around. Working girls hang around the pool daytime and in the bar at night. It's not the cheapest option, but it might be what you are looking for.

You won't find a lot of people who speak much English. You'll find the biggest concentration of English speakers in the Parque Lleras area of Medellin. Getting by with no Spanish is possible, but can be extremely frustrating. I suggest getting the Duolingo app and spending 30 minutes a day working on Spanish. It will greatly improve your trip.

There are expats in Bogota and Medellin who are willing to play wingman, for a small fee.

Don't be walking around drunk in that area alone at night. Otherwise, yeah.

If you're calling an Uber to pick you up, just be aware that they might not be able to stop right in front of the place because often there are pissmobiles parked there.

Was there on Wednesday and saw a chick I used to bang from 49 (the cheap one around the corner) I knew her personal life and I was making her jealous with her friend. She got upset that I was finger banging her friend and kissing her and got her whatsapp. All it cost me was a corona haha.

Pussy is not sketchy, it just looks that way, but of course always have your spidy sense up when you leave. There are usually taxi near by if you need to jump into one. I actually just walked home on 13. One of the advantages of living there.

I have been to pussy house by myself. There was no problem at all. The waiter keeps asking for tips which annoyed me. I liked the place because it's so cheap. When I went there was one really popular chick that got a lot of attention. I didn't get any FS, just wanted to relax and enjoyed the show.

Rainy season in Bogota has begun. It will rain heavily many days a week until Easter or so.

Also things slow down last 2 weeks before Easter (holy week).

Standard pricing in Pussy House: $60-80 k short time $100-120 k 1 hour.

TLN shouldn't be more than 250 k + salida. And for 250 k she better be a goddess arrived directly from a superior dimension! The going rate for that is 150-200 k. If the girl likes you it can happen for 100 k or less. Friends of mine have done it and so have I.
