Well security does not care about any of that shit. Anybody that enters and hands them an ID to put into the logbook are allowed to enter. They are not saying you did not register this person with the owner.

The owner kept pressuring me for the ID of the other person that would be staying with me. I did not know which of my chicks I would have over so I just sent a copy of my ex-girlfriend's ID to shut her up. But she was not one of the chicks that visited me in the building. Still no problem bringing in other chicks.

A few months back I stayed in one and when a chick arrived security called the owner because there was no phone in the apartment to call. The owner contacted me in whatsapp and said you have a guest downstairs.

Maybe other cities like Cartagena have different operating methods. If you are a person that walks a straight line and afraid to test and bend the rules, then disregard my post and only book places that explicitly say you can have guests.

Before I click "Reserve" on the Airbnb app, I make sure to ask owners about their guest policy. This particular owner told me that all guests will have their ID checked and photographed / copied before they will be allowed to the units. Of course they told me to be respectful and take care of the place, which is a given. I treat Airbnb rentals better than my own home, thus the 90+ positive reviews and no negative reviews on my Airbnb profile.

I arrived in Bogota this past Saturday night. My Wingo flight from Santo Domingo to El Dorado touched down around 10:30 pm at night. I breezed though Migracion with zero issues, through the rest of the airport and to my ride that was arranged by my Airbnb host. I arrived at my building in Chapinero and almost passed out from how beautiful my Airbnb rental unit was to my eyes. This is one bad ** condo unit. It is on a high floor, which gives me an outstanding view of the city of Bogota. Check in was a breeze.

While I was admiring the unit, I kept getting numerous Whatsapp notifications. Oh yeah. I totally forgot I that I had told a Facebook amiga that I would be in town Saturday night. She asked me six times had I arrived yet. I told her that I was all checked in and that I had hoped to see her the next day. She sent a few angry emojis and begged for the address to this building. Now I never met this chica before outside of Facebook. For about a year, we would comment under each other's pics and chat a bit. I know you can get cheaper options but I want to find something close to Scandallo in Brazil.
