Girls are always moving on from the business, always have. But perhaps this is a time where it is accelerating a bit, and it seems to me it could be the case that it is a cost of living versus the payday from prostitution that has changed at the margin. Same thing happened in Costa Rica, where the 40 to 60 dollars the guys paid in 2005 went a lot further than the 80 to 100 they are paying now. In Medellin especially once you get into the 30's it is an uphill battle to do well in this industry.

IMO its mainly caused by comsumer demand. Foreigners come in to the scene and start paying higher rates than the locals. Some girls suddenly get richer and are enabled to move on. It happened in all major sex tourism destinations that I know of. Medellin is no different. Guys come along and pay COP 200.000 (and often more) for a session, arguing that they can afford it, that it's much cheaper than home, that they don't care etc. But the girls soak it up and then move on. But they will be replaced, until the economy reaches a level where they no longer need to fuck for money, then supply will decline.

This is not the same as saying foriegners push the price of sex up. I am not arguing that.

I was actually planning to walk from the metro Estadio station to Energy spa later this week during a late morning. Would you suggest not to?

I would not suggest against it as I still walk and the distance I covered is long, think 6 metro stops. It's better that you memorize the route. I think one advantage I had and was able to escape most of the times because I don't need map and can concentrate on walking so I was able to see danger in time. It's a probability so there is a random element in it. You will be fine for many years until you are not.

The forth one is last week at 10 AM by a man with a knife. This time the robber got a hold of my arm before I jumped into the 6 lane traffic. He let go of me while I tried to pull away so I fell to the ground. He followed and tried to target my pocket. I kicked him. He left before traffic came.

I spent a lot of time walking. Medellin is perfectly safe if you don't walk alone too much or just walk inside the mall. Hehe.

Casas, where there are fewer than normal punters. The Colombians don't jump on their motorcycles and hop over to the casas as much when it rains heavily. Many gringo punters either wait out the rain or spend the time waiting for facebook girls to show up.

What do you guys do during daytime hours on rainy days in Medellin?

I'm writing this post because I just remembered something. I was in Santo domingo recently and I saw a bunch of girls that are from medellin and also work on the online websites like mileroticos. One of the girls messaged me out of the blue and told me that she has "returned". At first I thought she's returned to medellin. But then I realized that she's messaging me because she wants to see me in Santo Domingo. That is, she's left medellin again. A lot of girls from here are going to other countries. And a lot of girls are moving on with their lives. Like the skinny girl with big tits I've been talking about stopped working publicly at the end of last year. She started going to university and would still see me because she likes me. But as soon as they made her clases remote she booked it to the coast to live cheap with her mom. Another cam girl I'm seeing right now is not camming. She's doing college. What I'm seeing is that there's not that many girls online anymore and it's not that easy to find good quality. Again, I haven't been to la isla yet so there's that but that's just one small subsection of the whole city.

What I am seeing tho is a lot of girls in Bogota. Like Bogota hasn't changed and I will see say that in some regards it has improved. It's either that it's just the time of year or that this is permanent. There's even this other girl on pasionprepagos called like valentina paisa or something and she used to be in medellin and now she moved to Bogota.

A lot of girls from Cali go to Santo domingo and punta cana. I think the girlsstill exist, they are just harder to reach and / or not all concentrated in medellin. After I leve to the US for at least a year and don't return until maybe December for like a week, I'll probably not come back if my girl that's skinny with big tits is not here. If I'm going to go to Colombia, I'm probably going to go to cartagena for a short time and then Bogota for a longer time because santa fe is good and the online scene is getting better.

Also check out the "las nenas Bogota" it's an agency that also works in medellin and they have some good pictures up. Tried tonight but the girl couldn't make it. It'll try tomorrow. I don't think I want to spend copious amounts of time looking for girls on facebook and instagram and seeking. I kinda like the experience of a club like la isla / online where I see a girl kinda naked and say "Hey want to go?" and it's just that easy. If I can't find quality and that level of ease in medellin it's probably not work it to come.

The cost of living has probably tripled in that time in CR, the value of the US dollar went up and now down drastically relative to the colon, and overall it is not the jackpot for the girls like it once was. So they are more inclined to move on. And getting some education and setting up for a real future is certainly a better option for many than trying to still make a living in your 40's from this business. So it is probably the smart ones that are moving on. In Medellin especially once you get into the 30's it is an uphill battle to do well in this industry. The smart ones know that and start moving into a better career by the time they hit around 25.

I guess I just got lucky the very first time I cam to medellin I met the girl I'm talking about on mileroticos. Because now she left and I can't find anyone else like her. I've spent 10 months here and my preferences have changed by being here. I used to be an ass guy coming from the us. No one is fit over there so people nice booties are rare and when I came here the first thing I did was find a girl with a big fake butt at La isla. I went back so many times to do that one girl. Then I realized that that body type is very common. Then I found the girl I was talking about who has a big rack but has no fat anywhere else on her body and at first I was like she looks good and feels good but she's not that big of a deal. And so I tried to explore and replace her but I always came coming back. And then now that she's not available I understand what I have lost.

As far as immigration officials go, some are nice, some are very friendly, and some just aren't.

It's been the same with the locals in town.

Just be cool, and respectful and most will reciprocate.

Obviously the recent press has influenced some, however, there's been flare ups in the past.

The vast majority have their lives, worries, etc.

For me, usually going through immigration is a breeze once you get through the lines which can be long at times. I say Hello, give them my passport and a few minutes later, they hand it back to me with a stamp. Usually they don't ask me any questions and I don't say anything.

I said one thing that was wrong. It is the Colombian phone system that would be tracking you and I would assume that the Colombian authorities would have full access to that. What do you think they would find tracking your phone compared to mine?

And with that information, poof, there goes your imaginary bullshit that you are more well liked than me. LOL.

Actually, the customs agent last time I was in Cartagena suggested I get a visa so I could be distinguished from guys like you, and I am going to look into it.

So you can see why the customs lady had the change of heart. She saw that I was helping Colombian children and families not hurting them.

But if it bugs you that much, check out the other cities. Bogota has nothing like this, and Cartagena, even with the mayor cracking down on street walkers, does not have the degree of hostility you see in Medellin.

The is worldwide. If you are a single male you are viewed with suspicion! True, especially by other women who judge us.

I even see this at church. If I enter with a lady friend, the staff are all over us with kindness because they see I have conformed to their rules and expectations. If alone I am presumed to have just gotten out of jail and from the prison ministries, so I am a criminal. Sad, but people all around are judgmental, and will not admit it. If you are married and with your family you get an extra bonus of politeness and respect. Being a single male they distrust us.

It just must be me and you because when I had a customs agent look at me in disgust everyone has some bullshit line about what happened. To repeat, I am at customs in the Colombians only line because it was the only line open. Customs lady is about to let me through. She goes through my passport sees all the Colombia stamps and becomes disgusted and was about to have me go in the foreigner line. Then my gal goes into the biomig electronic line with her daughter and is waving and smiling at me. Customs agent totally changes her tune, smiles, and lets me through. That look of disgust was only in Medellin by the way. I have not seen that look in any other city when I have come into Colombia.
