Longer Report.

I've spent many-ier hour looking through posts on this forum and reading of legendary trips which I hoped to emulate. From stories of picking up non-pros to the legendary epic with Tiffany and other 'keepers' and basically anything by Vangabudo in Rio.

I think I've explored more options than I have ever before. Here's a rough play by play. Think it makes more sense to break down by 'scene' than by time.

Tinder / SA / other apps.

Perhaps controversial to ground tinder with SA. However, I have actually found a few of my Tinder dates on SA, so there's a bit of (but obviously not complete) overlap.

I've had a fair bit of success this trip with non-pros and have met 4 girls from Tinder / other apps and 3 from SA. I set my location on all apps to Bogota a few ahead of my trip and starting swiping and messaging. Very wide funnel initially, into only a few potential dates, and even fewer actual. The tinder girls never asked for anything, but I usually offer to pay for food, drinks etc.

In one notable case, I also offered to help her with a few (significant) things because she was struggling. SA for me is usually more business, most girls stated a clear amount they're after. You can definitely get higher quality girls, with established careers etc, which appeals to me. But, also makes it a bit harder to take them travelling. But, the strong emotional connection is obviously much more reward, and to be honest, harder to leave behind. I am supposed to leave Bogota this week. I change my mind twice a day on whether I want to extend out this leg of the trip.

I know there's a lot of debate around SA lately, my person view is it's a platform that can be many things. Some guys use to get free dates, leveraging their success. You obviously have to be both successful and fairly good looking to pull this off, and even then, there are only some girls that would be open to this. If you're open to the business side, then your pool opens up, and this is obviously the avenue most people take. But it doesn't have to be exclusively one or the other. I've even had a girl talk business initially and then change their mind after meeting me in person.

I got numbers from around 10 girls before my trip, a few I was really excited about. A few were out of town etc. And so far, I have only met 3, and had varying levels of success. You can get great outcomes, but I've also had to invest a fair bit of time.

As a final note, the completely non-pro scene is also interesting. I asked out a few regular girls and was surprised that they could be quite receptive. YMMV, obviously.

Santa Fe.

I initially wrote off the street scene, but due to the time of the year, the clubs were often slow, and the street scene often had more options. However, to be honest, because of the scenes available, I actually didn't actually fancy many girls in Santa Fe. I never thought I'the say this, but the environment became challenging for me very quickly, and a girl had to really catch my eye after my first night.

I really enjoyed doing the laps with other members of the board of the area. On my first night, I really indulged and picked out 4/5 girls, and got a few numbers. But to date, haven't really lined anything up. Some girls were going out of town, some others my interest just fizzled with.

The main reason is because it just feels more natural with girls from apps or SA. The interactions were obviously different. Even Semi-pros were all very new, and the dates felt better, and I got further mileage as well, even if it was more expensive than 50 k.

Love to club environment though still. It's been quiet lately, there have been more guys than girls in the clubs when I've visited, with slim pickings. Other members I've been with tells me that it is usually much, much better and I believe them. I am eager to go again, in new year once things are closer to normal. I knew this was what I would be up again before coming.

Casas / Mezzanine.

Ever suffering from FOMO, I did a circuit of the casas and mezzanine. I thought mezzanine was better than the casas, however, had mostly the same drawbacks as SF.

In some cases for Mezzanine, the rooms were even smaller though. As I think is well known. I didn't through many doors at mezzanine, and definitely wasn't disappointed, but because of how spoilt I've become from the non-scene, it didn't quite feel as good to me as it would have in past trips.

The quality at the casas were really low to me, and I struggled to find anything, and only one girl caught my eye.

You are right, but you are on that site for an arrangement, the long term. So if I dis the woman for not taking my offer, it could be she is not interested in long term, which means she is being dishonest for being on the site or she is stupid.

I get that a lot of women have tons of reasons to reject a long term and long distance relationship. In fact, a lot of women are on the site because it is more discrete. They just want a time or two that they can meet a guy and cash in.
