Hey guys,

I've been in Bogota for about 10 months now. Loving the city and everything it has to offer. I've mostly been dating chicas from tinder and girls I meet through my day to day activities. I've been to pussy-house and some random casas a few times but I'm looking to find some 9's and 10's to play with! Today I decided to check out Santa Fe. Few things I learnt, there are plenty of choices next to and in the same block as Paisas and many of them don't open till 5:00. The area looks dangerous, though I found it poor not dangerous. If you don't drift too far south, you will be fine. Try to blend in, and don't flash anything. These are common precautions that apply everywhere not just Colombia. There are plenty of policemen on vans, on walk and on motorbikes. They stop people randomly and ask for cedula so always carry an Identification even if you are gringo. Yes I was asked for cedula too. I walked the whole area in daylight and even after sundown till 9:00 and didn't feel threatened or witnessed any unfortunate event.

Announcement – Pussy House in Chapinero is still open! I went on Friday night and it was great. I asked some of the staff about it being closed and they said they had festivals for 4 out of 6 weeks and were closed on some odd days. I think that's where the confusion arose. Anyway.

This was my third of fourth trip to Bogota, but only the second during which I actively mongered. Some initial observations on the city relative to Medelllin, Baranquilla, and Cali:

§ It's huge! – 8 Million people.

§ Items overall seem to be a little bit more expensive.

§ There was a light drizzle for a portion of nearly every day. This has been a theme for every trip over the years with two being in June and one in May.

§ Uber works well, even better than taxis as half the taxis would get lost. If getting a taxi I suggest the yellow ones as they are metered and tend to be cheaper. The white ones are bigger, but charge their own varying rates.

I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton in the north. The taxi, which I believe was metered although I didn't see it, was 32,000 pesos. Overall the hotel was a decent deal at $85 as it had a very nice free breakfast, small pool, gym, and solid WiFi. The staff was helpful and they were reasonably girl friendly.

As noted by previous posters, Parque 93 is a nicer area and a great home base. It is not as vibrant as Parque Lleras in Medellin, but it gets the job done. There is certainly a lot of money in the area as I regularly saw Mercedes, BMWs, and Audis. And when you factor in the higher cost here and lower average wage those folks are several strata above others! The restaurants in the area were ok. Nothing special. If you're looking for a regular, fun crowd, Bogota Beer Company was always hoping and Juan Valdez (coffee) always had some cuties there to chat with or work next too.

Ok, on the clubs and girls. I really only had three nights and two days as I was coming from Medellin and had business meetings, so my apologies for the brevity!

En El Norte.

Norte Clubs – Thursday night.

§ Lido's Strip Club (Carrera 14 #95-33): My experience was in-line with others with 30+ girls. I did not see any dancing and the girls mostly lounged around on couches. It is a cavernous place with high ceilings. I felt a bit uncomfortable as it was fairly bright and girls just stared at me as I walked in (only 5 other girls there at the time). The girls looked like they had nice bodies, many enhanced, but looking at their faces you could tell they were more hardened. Prices: No entry fee. I understand it was a 150 k room fee and was told chicas start around 300,000. I understand they start at the high amount because they must pay 100 k every night to the club, and most have expensive cab rides from south Bogota. I did not like the feel of the place and only spent around 15 minutes there.

§ Lalo's High Class Inn (Carrera 15 #88-33). This place was smaller and a little bit darker, but still ample light. There was a bar to the front right as you walk in and then 20-25 girls. Better looking than Lido's in my opinion. The manager started talking to me immediately in good English which set off my 'watch out' sense. Prices: No entry fee, beer was 45,000+ tax (he said $22 USD total), a bottle to share with girl started at 260,000 (100), room for girl was $72, and then you negotiate with her (guessing 200 k-400 k). In short, a fucking rip-off. I asked the guy if had ever been to Spearmint Rhino (best strip club in Las Vegas) and joked that his beer prices were higher than theirs! This place was more comfortable, but the girls were not worth anywhere near what asking and I left after 15 minutes or so.

§ Bar Juan Pablo Zhivago (Carrera 18 # 93-56). This place was just down the street from my hotel, and actually at #93-56, not #93-46 on the map. As always, props to WorldTraveller69 for keeping those up to date. There were 12-15 girls and they all introduced themselves. Prices: Beer was 24 k, girls were 150 k in house or take out fee and were happy to leave for 200-300 k. I liked the feel of the place here more, but talent was a bit down from Lalo's.

Chapinero – Friday Night.

§ Pussy's House (Calle 61 #13-64). I enjoyed this place during a past stay in Chapinero. There were 30-40 girls throughout the night of varying shapes, sizes and colors. They were more natural girls and they seemed younger to me. At any given time there would be 4 girls dancing and you could sit right by the stage tipping them 2 k so the price was right. They also seemed happy to be there and flirted a lot with the crowd. Prices: Water 5 k, beer 6 k, beer for girl 16 k (in lounge area), bottle service started at 80 k. I understand takeout is 120 k to the club, but I found many girls that were willing to either leave with me at 3 am when it closed (so no exit fee) or sneak out earlier after they'the made some money dancing. I ended up with a beautiful and great performer for 200 k who met me around the corner from the club at 1:30 am. She stayed until 5:30 am and only left then because her phone was dying (or at least that's what she said ha ha).

Saturday. Day Time Massage in El Norte.

§ Mezzanine 13 (Av. Carrera 15 #104-03). This is on a corner and looks like a strip mall. Go up the stairs to the second floor and go around the back. You will find 4 extremely small massage / brothels, each with 5 to 9 girls. The cheapest is nearest ( 70 k for short time full sex) and the far one is more expensive ( 120 k for short time full sex). I looked at all 4 and there was no correlation between price and attractiveness of the girls although the girls in the last brothel were more dressed up (oddly in some sort of gothic way). I picked a younger girl in the second shop for 80 k (tipped her 10-15 k). The rooms consist of a massage table that is all of 5 ½ feet. I'm 6 foot and my feet were over the edge. The rooms are incredibly small (6. 5 ft x 4. 5 ft maybe) and the walls were very thin (you could hear everyone else! My shoulders literally brushed both walls of the hallway as I waked to our room. Not for everyone, but I got a full massage and full sex out of it for cheap with a 19 yr o.

Closing Thoughts.

§ Bogota is only really worth it if you're looking for up market girls and restaurants. Otherwise Medellin is preferred for multiple reasons.

§ Bogota had more availability on Mileroticos and other sites, but often girls were quite far away.

§ Bogota also has many more people with money (numerous high end cars), thus the higher end attractive girls can find Colombian boyfriends much more easily than Medellin or other cities. This means they do not need to go after expats like us for money. I also met a couple girls that mentioned they had regular boyfriends who were married, not uncommon in Colombia at all.

§ Definitely pack longer sleeves, a light jacket, and an umbrella. At night it got down to the upper 50's (cold for June) and it rained all 3 days I was there.

Thank you for the safety advice on Chapinero at night. I will definitely not be walking back to my pad after a night of drinking, no matter how short the distance. I also like the idea of stating in an even safer area more north of Chapinero.

Love motels area of Chapinero (west of Transmilenio) is more dangerous, than east of Transmilenio (Pussyhouse area) which s more or less OK.

I am planning for a few days in Colombia or Venezuela. Coming from Brazil and Panama. I would like to do some binging of strip clubs and TLN company, ideally with a pair. I need to decide which town. Bogota, Medellin or Caracas (VE) or a combination thereof. I want to have lots of action and look for a nice price point where a failure doesn't ruin the time and I can quickly next a dead fish without loosing precious time and not too much money. The rates in Panama annoy me. I want girls who put in some enthusiasm. CBJ is a total bummer, it must be BBBJ all the way, I don't want to see whining and lame performance.

Having been to Panama City and Bogota recently and planning a return trip to Bogota and Medellin (which I've only visited 2 or 3 times many years ago), I offer this advice. If you back out one level to the Colombia Forum, which lists the different cities, and scroll below the line to the User Blog area, you will see the Bogota FAQ and Medellin Lists. These will give you what you need in therms of planning your trip, especially prices. In the Zona Tolerencia (Santa Fe) area in Bogota, you can easily score a few great girls at about $25-30/30 min. A bit more for 30-40 min at one of the clinicas (massage parlors) in Zona Rosa or the Mezzanines. In comparison, I counted 20 casas in downtown Medellin within a 4 block radius where hot Paisas can be had for $15-45/30-60 min. So, not wanting to deprive either city's ladies of my seed, I chose to split my trip with Medellin getting an extra day. Hoping to enjoy some laid back drinking and dining with a gorgeous semi pro from Tinder or ColombianCupid during my nights and I think that will make for a great overall experience. Don't go to Venezuela. It's like Beirut in the 80's without rockets and missiles. Very dangerous! The Venezolanas are everywhere--Medellin, Bogota, Panama, Miami. If you want them, you'll run into them. Prices in Panama are ridiculous. Chicks are starting at $500 for all nighters and MANY of our brethren are paying it and encouraging this madness. You're getting a deal (according to the market there) if you get a girl for $100 for a couple of hours. DR is also in play, but, well, DR is no longer the easy pickings it used to be. Although I have been to Pussyhouse, Laylos, and Santa Fe and a few others, I really don't frequent those places anymore. I pretty much just hang with my girl the entire time I'm in Colombia nowadays. BUT. Walking even a block from Pussyhouse at 3 am alone is just asking for trouble. Find one or two taxi guys you trust or Uber and have them pick you up. The problem is that even if your not drunk or only wear cheap watches to minimize your losses, does not account for some of these street guys who shoot first and don't even bother to tell you to hand over your shit. Nothing can ruin a trip faster then being stabbed or shot in the street. Stay safe.

Good advice. Walking anywhere at 3 am, especially after drinking is a bad idea.

My addition to the advice is to move to a hotel about 20 blocks north, just north of zona rosa. The hotels are nicer, without being too expensive, plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby and you're only a $2 taxi ride from Chapinero.

I was at CC Andino yesterday and right now it's the safest place in Bogota. Police are everywhere, inside and out. There are also a lot more police than normal throughout the area.

Wow! Left her on the street in bra & panties only! Sorry to hear about the novia's father. I located the Salitre district on Google Maps, and it does not look more south of where I would be stying in the Chapinero district.

My plan would be to split time between doing escorts, and going out to the night clubs like Pussy House, Las Divas & La 49. From what I gather, the danger levels in Bogota are similar to what it was like in New York City in the 70's & 80's. Too many people, and too few police with slow response times. Citizens who are very aware that a mugging can happen anywhere at anytime of day.

How safe will Chapinero be? I'd like to believe that I could walk from Pussy House the 4-500 meters to my hotel or condo at 3 am. Probably not a good idea though??

Thanks guys, I have decided on Medellin now. It's the best balance in terms of connectivity with my flight route, prices seem lower than Bogota, yet no cash issues as in Venezuela, and many Venezuelanas there anyway. The offers on photoprepagos is a little less than Bogota, but enough to warm my bed at night and take care of the morning urges. I would suggest sticking to Panama's price point. I have not been to Venezuela, but to all other spots. I would suggest Cartagena, it's boring but is better to certain extent, it may be an optimal city for Colombia on quality and price balance.

There are safety reasons for not going to Caracas right now. It's been discussed on the Venezuela forums. Lots of Venezuelan chicas in Colombia. Lots.

For independent prepagos it's 200 k or less. I'd say a good 70% of them will take 200 k if you offer (some might say 250 to try to squeeze more). Street meet is between 30 k to 70 k depending on where you go. Casas between 30 k to 120 k (depending on where). Strip clubs tend to be the most expensive option, and many will be straight up ripoffs. You have Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. All of which are excellent options. Then you have Cali and some of the smaller cities in the interior if you care to visit them. It's a fucking Safari.

Yes, I know in Panama City all the chicas go for 100 USD. The magical 100 USD is what most latina hookers want, especially Colombians, but like the famous philosopher said: 'You don't always get what you want but sometimes you get what you need. '.
