Alright so I spent a week there in Colombia.

Visited Bog, mde and Cali, it was ok.

Different places were closed since the last time I went. Santa Fe is really busy by night.

The highlights for me were:

1st time I went to la mezzanine, I felt really overwhelmed by the girls all rushing on the balcony. I did not plan to stay but just visit out of curiosity. Eventually I decided to spend some time with a chica, best session I had on the whole week and I consider having been lucky the whole trip. She was really absolutely great.

In Medellin I've been lucky too, one venezolana (plaza botero) on the flaka side but she was cool and we had a great time. Got in last night and made it okay to my hotel. Was able to meet a nice girl that helped with the taxi situation which seems pretty sketchy here for non-Spanish speakers. Can tell that my hotel (Residences HUB 72 on calle 72 and Carrera 26) isn't really close to anything but a nice gym it seems. Also not sure if it's chica friendly but I'm leaning no.

First thing's first is a sim card from Claro so I can use the Uber app. Hear too many horror stories about regular taxis especially for non-Spanish speakers. Even illegal Uber app but oh well. Can't walk everywhere.

If anyone knows a good apartment 2 bedrooms (so I can lock up my valuables) in an area that is walking distance to a gym and supermarket, that would be valuable info. I'm going to take a Spanish language course here too so any recommendations would be helpful on that as well.

I'm aware Medellin has better weather. Not looking to move to the tourist areas. I want to fly back and forth from Belgrade, Serbia with ease and without the connecting flights. Thanks again.

- Get Woodman's tour. See it as a rite of passage if you will. Woodman is also a good guy who will have your back. You will quickly get a hang of how the area works.

- Try to go with someone. It makes for a more fun experience and probably safer. This board is a great tool to help you find wingmen.

- Dress down, there's no one to impress. Don't carry more belongings than you need.

- There is a lot of police and you might encounter one sooner or later and it's no big deal, the bark is usually worse than the bite. Seems to happen more past 11 pm.

I'm pretty fluent in Spanish and was looking to experience more of the non P2P. Appreciate the good info and down to meetup with others from the board in Bogota.

For anyone else interested in experiences like Osk Peru from Park's report try LEO on Calle 65 & Carrera 5. It's hidden, almost like a speakeasy but there's a big LEO sign on the wall and a doorman that will open a very well hidden door to the place. You can't just walk in off the street, they'll radio in and see if there's room before they let you in unless you have a reservation. It's the highest end dining I've seen in the city so far, I'd rate the quality on par with an upscale restaurant in Las Vegas or Miami.

On the 2nd floor there's an amazing bar / lounge that reminds me of my favorite place in Miami. 1st floor is the main dining area if you don't want to sit at the bar, but you may want to make a reservation as they get busy sometimes. A great place to chill and have drinks if you don't mind the cost. Expect to pay 35,000 for a drink but if you like that lounge upscale vibe then I recommend the 2nd floor bar.

What makes Bogota a sin city is the amount of options available. SF, casas, prepagos, SA. Try them all and see what works for you. Not nearly as many options as São Paulo, but you could bang a different girl every day and barely scratch the surface. I've met some gems.

Started hanging out with a partygirl I met while working out, who also acts as my new tour guide and gives all the hot spots in town to check out. On that note, there's soo much more to the city than P2 P. Unsurprisingly, in a city of 8-9 M people.

For some fine dining, head to Osk Peru (Zona T), a Japanese Peruvian restaurant. A bit expensive by Colombian standards but place, food and service is excellent. Been there several times. Make sure to ask for the Nikkei Experience where the chef brings you one dish after the other (Omakase style). If you're with a girl, ask to be seated in the indoor garden, if you're alone sit at the bar. FYI hostess is smoking hot and plays hard to get.

Walk out of the restaurant and head to the nearby bars which are all walking distance on Carrera 13. Some of them have a pretty upscale local clientele. I'm pretty fluent in Spanish but these bars are where I found the most English speaking and well-travelled crowds. I won't expand much more as this forum is mainly about P2 P but this area is great to meet girls.

Lido's is the highest end strip club in the North. I was there just a month ago. Don't bother with any other clubs in the north El Retiro area like La Piscina, Olympics or Dan Carlos (I think that's the name) as they mostly have average looking girls at high prices, most from Venezuela. For your typical monger it's best just to avoid north Bogota altogether and stick to the Santa Fe area in the south, but if you have money to burn you could check out Lidos. I was there a month ago and there were a lot of 7 and 8 level girls, a couple of 9's but they were with other customers. It's 200 K COP exit fee (about $50 US just to take a girl out of the club. Last time I took a girl out of there was several years ago and paid about 500 K COP for 2 hours, so pretty expensive. Make sure you negotiate the fee before hand for several hours or all night. I've heard of tourists getting charged large amounts of money in the morning since they didn't speak much Spanish and didn't agree on a fee. If the girl is negotiating in US dollars you are pretty guaranteed to get ripped off.

There is no way to avoid buying at least one drink for yourself and the girl. Cheapest drinks are 40 K COP ($10 US) for you and probably twice that for the girl. But if these prices scare you, you probably shouldn't even visit this club. You can get at least 5 girls in Santa Fe area for the price of 1 in the north.

Another option is Flirt Hotel. I visited there several years ago and not sure if it's still open, although google says it is. You don't have to actually stay there to visit the girls, but you do have to call ahead of time and make an appointment to visit. When I called several years ago the person answering spoke English, but who knows if they will now..

I speak fluent Spanish and not new to the tactics of girls / the club adding fees so I know to strongly push back and confirm everything upfront, however doesn't sound too exciting with only a few 9's.
