Me thinking what the fuck. Is that some kind of psychopath who will proceed to slice me up? Of course I kept my composure, smiling to her a bit incredulously. She telling me she's involved with some gang and there was some conflict with a rival gang at some party and she gunned down one who I supposed attacked her. And she can't go out and I should tell nobody where she lives. But who would ask me? And if you don't want to be found, why are you posting pictures of yourself in full view on mileroticos?
Other strange things, she wanted to take a photo of the two of us, with my phone. Didn't ask to get a copy of it. Told me to share it with nobody.
She wanted me to take her away to Europe, all her boyfriends have left her because of the trouble around her. To live here with her I'd need to pay a body guard. Oh boy.
I dunno. Maybe that's all just invented nonsense. But what if she does have connection to the gangs?
I got dressed about 10 min before my time, all the while continuing to converse. She asked me for a tip, and, TBH, I did give her 50 because I didn't want any problems. Haha. As I went back to my hotel, I watched my back to see if anyone would be following me. In the hotel I deleted the photos because all sorts of shit went through my mind, if perhaps that was some sort of trap.
Anyway, I find Colombia way more weird than Brazil. God, what all I have experienced here. I am still on my post-exposure prophylaxis from my little mistake entering the wrong way. Last year I was blackmailed by threat someone would report me on false charges (the threat was obviously not thought through, so I would not be that impressed.) But man, I feel like I do not want to do a lot more in Colombia. This sort of thing has never happened to me in Brazil. Well, if you discount the dispute I had with one girl who got all mad at me and then said she would do black magic on me.
Oh and I had bowed out of two dates which seemed fishy both on the same day. One was a tinder date where I got contacted. The other was an SA girl who insisted I meet her in her barrio of Ferias instead of coming to me to Chapinero. I bowed out of both because that seemed fishy to me.
Now as for your conversation here, I got curious about this "never go to an apartment" -- so much action happens in apartments. How are you like completely avoiding that? I doubt it. Can't believe I'm the only one here ever having gone to a girl with her own local.
PS: her ad said she was looking for a sugar daddy too, that's a bit strange. Given that she was so insecure with me, I was surprised she asked me when we will see each other next time. I must say, if she hadn't scared the shit out of me, I would possibly have agreed, since the second time around they are often more relaxed and open. But I'm trying to stay away from crazy. BTW, she advertized 140 mil for 40 minutes, 200 for 1 hour. 50 extra for oral natural. That's what I took. Plus the tip to hope I won't get any trouble later.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scopolamine.
One common and particularly dangerous method that criminals use in order to rob a victim is through the use of drugs. The most common in Colombia has been scopolamine. Unofficial estimates put the number of annual scopolamine incidents in Colombia at approximately 50,000. Scopolamine can render a victim unconscious for 24 hours or more. In large doses, it can cause respiratory failure and death. It is most often administered in liquid or powder form in foods and beverages. The majority of these incidents occur in night clubs and bars, and usually men, perceived to be wealthy, are targeted by young, attractive women. It is recommended that, to avoid becoming a victim of scopolamine, a person should never accept food or beverages offered by strangers or new acquaintances, nor leave food or beverages unattended in their presence. Victims of scopolamine or other drugs should seek immediate medical attention.
Between 1998 and 2004,13% of emergency-room admissions for "poisoning with criminal intentions" in a clinic of Bogotá, Colombia, have been attributed to scopolamine, and 44% to benzodiazepines. Most commonly, the person has been poisoned by a robber who gave the victim a scopolamine-laced beverage, in the hope that the victim would become unconscious or unable to effectively resist the robbery.

However, I can comment that Cartagena no longer feels the same anymore since the pandemic. In part, all these bad actors from the same "A" grade categorical group, to put it diplomatically, has destroyed all the ambiance and fun for the rest of us hobbyist who understands discretion and hence tend to act sensibly in the local environment. As such, I no longer look to Cartagena anymore as my playground destination.

Reading the forum and watching videos about it, it has made me much more wary. I am genuinely thinking about planning how to handle my cash and possibly move my cash out of my bank accounts.
I watched the Vice News video on YouTube; the bit at the end with the gangster, a good ending to the story.

1. Never go to an apartment.
2. Never let them in your apartment.
3. Get their social media accounts.
4. Take a selfie with them and send it to your friends at the beginning of the date.
5. Keep your friends updated throughout the date. (Text in the bathroom).
6. Make a video call and introduce them to your friends during the date. It's fun and if they are normal they'll love to try and talk to your American friends.
7. Don't drink anything you haven't prepared or seen prepared.
8. Double date with a friend or group date.
9. Meet people through friends of friends, social / sporting events, school, church, volunteering, etc.
10. Keep a limited amount of money in your travel account. With the majority of your money stored in the main account.
The biggest thing to learn is how they kept the guy for a few days so they can max out his credit card by moving money through a cash app.
Also here is another good video of how foreigners behave badly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln2cGP6BVYQ.
The conclusion is if you are on a short trip, a GFE is not for you. Either you are going to get hurt or you are going to hurt a woman. I am having second thoughts about meeting girls on seeking.com now.

Also, now that I have learned more about scopolamine, the more weary I am. I have to scrutinize a bit more carefully now with all these SA girls who are so eager to meet me. I actually know of an acquaintance that happened to him in Medellin and it was a nightmare for him. All his valuables were stolen and he was knocked out for more than a day.
I think if the hotel front desk needs registration for all visitors, it will avoid that awkwardness of demanding a cedula. I am not sure if most AirBNB apartments there have the same policy or not, but I would feel more at ease if they do at places where I stay.
By the way, my photos are almost instantaneously backed up to the cloud after they are taken.

#2 you can't 100% control your food, drink, etc. Because when you drunk, have erection, etc man's brain does not work. +there are many other ways to get you dragged or rob you. For example show you a gun, or kick you in the balls. Its more simple than you think.
#3 they will take your phone including your snaps.

I think with point 1, a lot of it is on personal judgement. Generally speaking, I agree. There are probably red flags like overly eager girls looking to go back to your place within an hour of meeting you in a bar or club. Or the type of group a girl is part of. Also, where you go out has a part to play as well. There are little tell tale signs that should prompt someone to be a bit more cautious. But I wouldn't flat out say that there isn't a hook-up culture; it's less likely on a first meet / date, but much more likely if you meet again.
To see a different view of women in Colombia, watch this from Rami Travel: https://youtu.be/1twsPd70Kj8.
Ultimately, there are good and bad people, just like anywhere else. Just keep your wits about you.
