A few years back, before Maduro and Covid it was like you say, give up a cheap phone and throw a few Pesos and you can get away from Colombian thieves. Ask anybody familiar with Bogota and it's not Colombians but the very violent Venezuelan gangs, many of the Venezuelans shoot first why rob later. Here is a quote "First they murder and then they steal, we need guarantees for Colombians," said the local president in a statement.

There is a very violent gang of Venezuelan immigrants in Bogota that will not fall for that trick. Listen, I'm not saying SF is another 'EL BRONX" but is not a safe place. I hope your attitude doesn't get you hurt. As far as Woodman goes, he's a great guy and knows SF well in fact I met him in SF years ago and he does a good job. You can go there and have a good time but have a cavalier attitude when there, it can get you in big time trouble. I didn't write this to condemn SF just some information that might help keep some newbies safe.

Beware of anyone that calls any 3rd world RLD "It's extremely safe".

I've been there and think anyone that thinks its extremely safe is a fool and is going to find it isn't.

I've also been to Tijuana a million times and there are many mongers that say its extremely safe, why? Because they haven't been killed, yet?

And you also have to look at different variables a big guy 35 yo 6 foot 6 and 325 lbs all muscle may have less risk than the older BM that in his 60's.

Being mugged is not the end of the world. In Colombia and probably in all Latin America I recommend not taking the latest iphone out of the hotel and just go out with a cheap android phone. Also don't take too much money in cash at once (this one is pretty obvious everywhere in the world I think). Then if you actually get mugged, you do nothing stupid like fighting or arguing, you just hand your trash android phone + the little money you took out from the hotel. No trip should be ruined for that IMO. Of course a different story is getting shot or stabbed, and yes that happens to a lot of Colombians every day. But not in the SF or in the most touristry places. And as I said if you don't fight or argue and just hand all your belongings you should be fine.

But I stand my point about the SF neighborhood. It's extremely safe at least if your worry is getting robbed. Let's put it like this, a lot of Colombian thieves visit the SF often, but when they go there is to spend the loot, they are not "working" there.

Landed late Friday night, headed to the Grand Park Hotel. Looked good in pics, but hated it when I arrived. A girl I met on Milerotico in August met me at the hotel and stayed the night. Next morning, I booked a room at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. Should've booked there the first time.

Santa Fe:

Next morning, I went to Santa Fe to checkout the scene. Had a quick visit with a cute girl (name slipped my mind) for 40 k. Probably overpaid for the services, nothing to write home about. Didn't get stabbed. LOL. I didn't walk around either. Just had the car sit outside and wait on me. I prefer driving around, negotiating at the car window, and then getting out and going in. It could be the safest place in the world and that's how I would do it. It's easier, my driver can help me negotiate, and everything is settled before I even step out of the car.

Mezzanine:

Next, I went to Mezzanine. Didn't know where it was, but saw another post that said it was near the Dann Carlton Hotel. I googled Mezzanine and Ababellas de la 104 popped up and it was close to Dann Carlton. Had the driver take me there. Saw "Mezzanine" signs outside on the second floor of the building. Walked up the stairs (stairs are outside: from other posts I somehow thought this was inside cause the girls would open the doors in lingerie. Nope, it's outside and the door opens up to the outside) and walked around towards the back. The first door opened and the girl that opened was gorgeous. I didn't bother looking at the other girls. Quoted 250 k that included BBBJ. Tiny room and you do most of the action standing up, but it was nice. I really liked it. Would definitely go back.

Agency Outcall to Room:

Then I had a girl come to my room at Embassy Suites. Found her on mileroticos, turned out to be an agency (eroticasbogota.com). They asked which girl I wanted and I picked Salome. So I ducked into a small corner restaurant and waited there for 10-15 minutes and then left, half walking, half running until I got to my hotel San Francisco.

Landed in Bogota last night and was in my hotel within an hour of landing. Moving to an Airbnb later today to be closer to SF.

Around 10 pm I decided to wander over to SF. I knew the clubs would be closed because Woodman was kind enough to give me a heads up. Elections are going on so Ley Seca is in effect until tomorrow morning. Walking around I saw a few decent SGs but was largely unimpressed from what is normally in the clubs. If I had to guess, I probably saw 50 girls actively working, though there are always many others casually walking around, hanging out with their friends, or grabbing snacks in shops. Of the 50 or so actively working across the main 3 ish block area, about 6 or 7 were in the 7+ range. Saw one 9 but she was obviously busy pretty much the entire time I was there. The police presence seemed to be a little extra, but I expect that is because of the election.

I walked around for about an hour before finally deciding on a tall Colombiana. 7 in the face and I thought 7. 5 in the body. I was deceived by her choice of clothing because once it came off I wasn't that impressed. She did her job well though and without complaints. When the knock came she said to not worry about it and kept going. I finished, cleaned up, and gave her a small propina, though she didn't ask. Total was 40 k including the propina I gave. I have noticed that the Colombianas tend to ask for more than the Venezuelans. As I walked out I noticed that police seemed to be ushering people to leave. I don't think there was a curfew but I expect they wanted to get people to bed so they could vote in the election today LOL..

On a different note, I must revise my previous statements regarding safety. I did a bit of research and examined the crime maps of Bogota, specifically Santa Fe. The whole of SF is the most dangerous zone in Bogota, but on surface level that is deceiving. SF is actually a pretty large area and the farther south and west you go, the worse it gets. The SF we frequent is on the most northeastern tip, which is heavily policed and tons of people walking around at pretty much all times. Honestly, the most dangerous part of SF to me is getting there and leaving, as some of the surrounding areas can be sketchy. Once I'm inside I breathe a little easier.

In summary, I too did not get robbed or stabbed.

Went to SF on Tuesday-- Was a little slow on the streets-- I went to Atonis and there were 12+ girls at least 7+ that I wanted to session with just sitting around-actually had been with 4 of them before) They were actually practicing lapdances and teaching the new girls how to eat each other out LOL-- just about 8 guys or so were there. My only recommendation is always stay in the crowded areas, that would be KR 15,16 and 16 A between Calle 23 and Calle 24. So 3 complete blocks where everything is safe.

Carrera 15 from Calle 22 to Calle 23 is also safe.

Some streets to the south in Calle 19 you find the infamous "enrejadas" which are prostitutes behind bars / gates, they charge incredibly low like 15 k and their normal customers are homeless people. Here is where a normal Colombian guy might start to get a bit scared.

Thanks Aureliano for the details on the Calles and Carreras in Santa Fé. It's good to know which streets to base the walks on.

For those who want an idea on the lay of the land, I found City Walks' page on YouTube quite useful; bar the intro where he plays an opening theme tune, the entire walk has no background music so it gives you a sense of the sights and sounds of the area. Lets assume your not a drunk Gringo and have some street savvy, SF is still dangerous. There are some on this site that will down play the dangers of SF because they have an ax to grind. But ruling out the obvious, jewelry, phone cash etc First, dressing like a local is not guaranteed safety, good advice but not fail safe. Most people who get robbed or even killed in Bogota are Colombians living in Bogota. Having been to Bogota many many times over the last 15 years and having a Casacita for a novia I've seen way too many tragedies. Just in her family, who are life long residents of Bogota and are very very street smart, have been victims. Her father, a taxi driver and before that a bus driver has been shot 4 times. Twice by thieves who jumped on his bus to rob the passengers and twice, a block from his house. Once in the leg and once in the head. He spent 2 months in a coma but the tough ass Latino recovered and is driving his taxi. Her mother was robbed of her pay, a common occurrence on Fridays, payday, at gunpoint in a little town S / W of Bogota where she worked. Countless phones lost by all family members, all mugged numerous times. And don't get a feeling your safe in a crowded place because most of the muggings happen where there are lots of people and historically Bogotanos DON"T get involved. Follow the advice of the member above but remember most crimes are random and can happen in a flash so stay vigilant and be safe. Nothing ruins a trip like a mugging or jail.

Glad to hear you had a mostly good time. The first time I came to Colombia I actually knew nothing about the mongering scene. I came with a friend to meet up with a Colombian friend we knew from back home but had moved back to Colombia. He took us out all over Bogota and we had the time of our lives. I even had a Colombian girlfriend for a while. The locals know of more discreet and lesser known casas all over the city. They're really big into the online scene as well.

As for SF, I can second that even normal Colombian guys tread carefully. The first time I mentioned it to my Colombian friend his eyes lit up and portrayed a clear sense of extreme apprehension. He warned of its dangers, not being there late at night alone, etc. The place is dangerous and there are only so many things one can do to mitigate risk. Because of my background, the way I look, and my youth, I feel relatively comfortable moving around there. But it should be noted that only makes me LESS of a target. I, and everyone else there, is still a target of opportunity. By employing some common sense principles like staying where there's a lot of people, not pulling out huge wads of cash, keeping your phone in your pocket (if you bring it at all), dressing like a Colombian to the best of your ability, leaving the jewelry at home, walking like you belong, making sure the waiter opens your beer in front of you, and having some situational awareness will go a way in avoiding trouble. And for the love of all that is holy, if you're going to go to SF, stick to the main areas where the most people are located. Woodman does a good job explaining it on his tour and there are areas you most certainly would want to avoid.

I'm not saying don't go down there, but you need a guide, company or a lot of street smarts.

Wow, your Colombian friends must be definitely rich or silver spooned, which actually makes sense if they speak good English.

Normal Colombian guys, as in the 95% of the population, are definitely not scared of SF! This neighborhood is pretty safe by Colombian standards. It's always packed with policemen in service and not in service as well. I've never ever witnessed a robbery or something sketchy on the streets nor inside the places.

When I was young (university student) I always went there by transmilenio so even public transportation is safe. In 2022 I went there 3 times with my own car, and parked without issues. I drive an automatic and not so old car, worth maybe USD 20 k and wasn't scared at all to park it inside SF.

My only recommendation is always stay in the crowded areas, that would be KR 15,16 and 16 A between Calle 23 and Calle 24. So 3 complete blocks where everything is safe.

Carrera 15 from Calle 22 to Calle 23 is also safe.

You don't even need to knock the door. The girls themselves will open all the doors and go out in sexy outfits trying to lure you in! They will see you going upstairs in the cameras.

Basically once you finish going up the stairs you have 2 options.

1. go to your right to the end of the hallway, where you find mezzanine 8 which is the last door. Here maybe you need to knock because this door is facing the street so girls are not going out in underwear.

2. keep going straight to the mezzanines in the back of the building which are not facing the street. Here all the doors are used for prostitution and the girls will open and invite you in very cheerfully.

Also the only door in the Mezzanine that is not used for prostitution is a restaurant which is always open and even has the tables outside. So it's impossible to get lost.

I see that the Tantra Spa may be good and possibly Rosquillas on Calle 64. I see lots of casas on the map but not sure how.

Current the information is. I. E. Which ones are open and what are the good ones.

Can anyone recommend any other chapinero casas which are known to be good. I. e. Known to be open, the best possible quality even if not necessarily at low prices.

And negotiable extras. Thanks in advance and I'll be sure to report my findings afterwards.

I have not been to those for years since I moved out of Chapinero and this was Pre Venezolana-.

When I was living there there were casas near Transmileno Stations from Marley to Calle 76.

I literally lived Less than 5 minutes from one and would often stop in for some Quick Sexy Fun, LOL.

You should go to La Mezzanine-- I used to go but it has been years.

But there are a Lotta recent positive posts get there at 12:30-3. Usually some Hot Fresh Girls.

Or Go to Atunes in Santa Fe-- the only Daytime club brothel -- Nice big club Carrera 16 a and Calle 23.

Santa Fe is a one of a kind experience that is probably best in small doses of 3 days. Land on a Thursday, and exit on a Sunday and you should be fine. Longer stay mongers could create a balanced sex diet in Bogota by rotating between Santa Fe, Chapinero casas, upscale Chico area clubs, SA and Tinder. Since I'm not a huge fan of any of the latter options, I'm coming to the conclusion that I am not a huge fan of Bogota generally. The best luck here seems to be had by mongers willing to do the hard work of establishing SA connections- but even that seems hit and miss from what I can gather. Basic Spanish is a must.

This part I agree with you 1000%. Brazil has a better P4 P market. Colombia is just cheaper and closer.

I also agree with you weather wise. I prefer high 80's, clear, and frequently sunny. To me, Bogota has a Northern California / Seattle weather vibe to it, but some people actually like that.

When I first went to Colombia, I did the P4 P thing and was underwhelmed both by the sexual encounters and beauty of the women. Routard said it best, "It's cultural of course, as Colombians are genuinely nice people and girls are full of passion and tenderness. " Until you dive in and get to know the women, and I used SA to do this, that is something you will not see in the P4 P world. And of the three women I went deep with, sexually, they were all the same: they literally worshipped my cock in a way other women never have.

I get that not all guys have the time to invest in that or the desire for a relationship but IMO that is what makes Colombia and Colombian women special. From a pure P4 P perspective, Bogota has cheap and plentiful women but iffy quality. I had better sexual encounters in Brazil (way better), Argentina, Paraguay, and even Peru (despite the lack of beauties there). Despite all the reports here, for P4 P, Colombia would be in my second tier: I would throw it in with Venezuela, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Ecuador. I think even Mexico has better P4 P options than Colombia.
