3. I hated the short-time motels. There was no usable shower (no hot water, no towels). So you couldn't be sure your girl was clean nor could you reliably clean up afterwards. And one room I was in had no lights and smelled so much like old, dirty socks that I was unable to do the deed. The love motels in Chapinero are way too far away. I wish there were good, reliable love motels in Santa Fe the way there are in Tijuana.

6. I wish somebody would have taught these girls how to put on condoms. When I did use them, the girls rolled them down before putting them on and then pulled them over my friend and snapped them on like a rubber band. Excruciating... and another good reason to get BBFS.

Santa Fe
You identified the huge negatives. Santa Fe is not for me because:

(1) The 20 minute quickie is really the 15 minute quickie. 5 minutes to undress and dress etc. for the Chica and yourself.
Also, the dreaded knock on the door comes around the 15 minute mark. Sometimes even couple of minutes earlier.

(2) I can almost hear the counter argument. You have the option to keep the Chica for an hour, or even longer. Sure, but then your cost is 3x higher at a minimum.
Once you add all the "extras", Santa Fe is not as cheap as advertised. To be clear, overall, it is still cheap if you are calculating in US Dollars.

(3) Clearly there is demand for a modern Short Time Motel. Hopefully, some Colombian entrepreneur will seize this opportunity. For me, clean towels and a shower is a must.

Safety

Please clarify. Why are you anonymous? Do you look Colombian? Or are you built like a Santa Fe club bouncer?
Just curious - did you take any safety precautions? Like leaving your watch and smartphone in your Hotel room?

Santa Fe is a high volume environment for these Chicas.
It is your life and who am I to criticize. IMHO, going bareback is looking for trouble.

As I always say, the only reason to go to Tijuana is if you are already in San Diego. I would not waste money or time going there otherwise. Colombia on the other hand, is one of the best places to monger on the planet.

1. I mistakenly called Woodman09 Woodman69. Just wanted to correct that from my report.

2. One thing that creeped me out was meeting a girl from Montenegro (Former Yugoslavia). She had short blond-ish hair and a Crescent & Star necklace. When she said she was from Montenegro, I asked if that was Colombia or Venezuela (since I bet every latin country has a Montenegro). But she said it was actually the Montenegro near Bosnia-Herzagovena. I can only imagine the circumstances that led her to be working the Streets in Santa Fe. It creeped me out so much that I moved on and never got her full story. I never saw her again. It would be worth picking her up to learn how she got there.

4. In terms of comparisons, the pricing was overall much better than Tijuana whether in the clubs or the street. Prices for bar girls were from 40,000-50,000 ($12-15) while street girls went from 20,000 - 40,000 ($6-12). Those have to be the best prices anywhere in the world. Especially given the fact that some of the $6 girls were skinny 18 year olds. The bars in Tijuana have far more girls. But the bars all over Bogota generally let you walk in and out with no cover. It takes a good amount of work and walking in Santa Fe to find an 18 year old spinner vs. Tijuana where you can go to HK or order an escort and be done with it. If you speak some spanish, your chances of GFE (as much as you can get in 20 minutes) are much better with street girls in Santa Fe than with street girls in Tijuana. I'd also say that the Santa Fe girls appear more hard in terms of tattoos and smoking (often weed) openly in the street vs. The Tijuana girls.

Oddly enough, the short-term nature of everything reminded me of Frankfurt in the mid-90's walking through cavernous buildings banging as many chicks as I could. I sure wish I had the recovery time of my 25 year old self.

5. Photoprepagos was disappointing. It wasn't until I got there that I realized almost all the girls are based in Usaquen. That means it will take them quite a while to get to a hotel in the Santa Fe area (some don't even go that far south). It's a big time investment to call one of those girls since they could be there anytime from when you call until hours later (they are latinas after all).

I'm thinking of a trip there this summer but if it's just as good in Tijuana, well that's a lot closer. Any guys been both places, especially recently? Read some of mine and others older posts in the Colombia section (IE Medellin, Bogota) as we have discussed the differences between Tijuana and Colombia in depth.

You will find that I was a weekly Tijuana goer from 1999 thru 2004 then every other month from 2005 thru lets say 2010 then 2 or 3 times a year since then. In those days the HK club was literally a hole in the wall after though club as it was connected to Las Chaveles on the inside, that was back in 2000 and I witnessed the complete evolution of the HK club over the past 20 years now.

Nowadays I live almost full time in Medellin but still visit Tijuana once or twice a year when I am in California.

Of course if you live in SoCal Tijuana (ie HK club) is in your back yard but the prices are $80 to $100 a pop at HK, plus the room and drinks and gas there and back and hotel Cascadas room cost, etc. And if you go for 2 or 3 days your going to drop $600 to $800 and pop 3 maybe 4 girls.

If you come to lets say Medellin for a week, you have your airfare $650 plus $35. / night hotel and then your gil prices can be anywhere from $15. USD (yep you heard me right) to high end clubs at $100. A pop for an hour give or take.

I would advise you just to come and experience it yourself.

BTW, I write this from my living room in my apartment in Medellin as my non-pro Venezuelan chica, 23 yo spinner with a perfect body and even better attitude new to Medellin that day, whom I met this past Friday night has been with me everyday. This is the shit that I dig here, the possibilities are endless.

Great active forum. I'm going to be in Bogota the last week of July but only Tues-Thurs. Are things totally dead then? What are my best non agency options? Based on what I have read, I was planning on trying mezzanine and abadubai daytime, and either Santa Fe or going to the higher end places like la piscina del Norte at night. But I wonder if the bars will still be good, given it is the middle of the week. Any advice would be appreciated. And I promise a report.

My dates are July 30-Aug. 1 if anyone is looking for a wingman. I am still trying to figure out the PM thing- does that require a paid subscription?

LOL, Tijuana does not hold a candle to Santa Fe. I used to live in Chula Vista and have been to Tijuana 100's of times.

1990's I was able to drive and be in Zona Norte in 10 min.

Way more expensive for sessions / lap-dances.

Mexican girls and many Mexicans are propagandized to hate / dislike Americans. Colombians have a true fondness for Americanos who saved their country.

Harder girls there, not as many.

Too much more not as good to list here.

Hotel Tequendama It was a great place to stay. Very nice, secure room at a really good price (40 / night). The internet was awesome. I stayed connected to Verizon WiFi nearly the entire trip so nobody back home knew I was out of the country. It was an easy walk to Santa Fe. The biggest negative is they aren't truly girl-friendly. I contacted the manager before my stay to find out their policy. They said they had to register every girl. But there would only be a charge if a girl came in after 9 PM. Fair enough. The problem came in the implementation. I tried to bring a sweet (and obviously 18) Venezuelan girl back from Club Venus. The front desk wouldn't accept her Venezuelan cedula. They demanded a passport and she didn't have one. I doubt many Venezuelan girls in Santa Fe have anything over than a Venezuelan cedula. For that reason, I suggest passing on Tequendama if you plan on bringing girls back to your room.

Great report ShadowJ. Finally a well written long form report on this board. Just a clarification about ID checks, it seems the rule in Medellin and Bogota (probably whole of Colombia) is that if you are bringing a Colombian citizen as a guest she needs to have her cedula, even her passport won't work (see a report on Blux in Medellin) and if one is bringing a Venie she needs to bring her passport.

Yet the age of consent in Jamaica is 16. Age of consent in the Philippines is 12! I know, I know. It's 18 USC sec. 2423 (d): Travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and 18 USC sec. 2423 (c): Engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places. USA! USA! USA!

The age of consent in my state is also 16, but since I am a US citizen one has to go by the age of majority when in other countries. I like grown women. That is why I do not have to ask for an ID.
