To both a few times definitely want to hit up Santa Fe for troya, paisas and my favourite fiebre. What is the current situation are clubs closing early still and doors closed sneaking you in?

The clubs like Fiebres are open from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Every night for the last couple few nights the police have come at 1 AM and cleared out and blocked off the streets where the clubs are. Fiebres has outdoor cameras and screens where you can observe the streets. The streets outside the clubs are completely empty after the cops have cleared them out. So you get trapped inside the club. For the past week, the clubs would watch for when the coast was clear and let a few people leave at a time. However, no one was allowed to leave Fiebres and we were all stuck there until 4 AM. It sucked. So I would suggest visiting the clubs and leaving when the police arrive. Or go ahead and stay if you don't mind being there until 4 AM.

If anyone has any idea why the police are doing this please let us know. I've tried asking my self but haven't got any good answers, or maybe I just didn't understand. If I had to guess, I would think it has something to do with a covid lockdown.

The part of Santa Fe that people talk about here is an area that is designated as a zone of tolerance for prostitution. It is not a residential area. And any woman there is there for sex for money. So by definition professionals.

But there is a lot more to Bogota than that. Not far away there are some very nice areas, apartments, hotels. As for finding non-pros. Good luck.

Possible? Yes but finding the gem in the rough in a place like SF requires times and effort which is difficult for guys who come into town for a few days to a week.

Santa Fe in Bogota and El Centro in Medellin are going to be similar, other than the weather. Others have said they have found what you're looking for in those places. They've also said it takes time and there are going to be disappointments.

The girls working there are pros. I'm always a bit confused about what someone means when they talk about semi-pros. It's like being semi-pregnant. Either she accepts money for sex, or she doesn't.

I have heard the explanation that semi-pros are just part-time pros, or they're pros who work another job. If that's the definition you use, you can go anywhere in Bogota or Medellin and try your luck. You should be able to find some in the stores that sell cheap clothes, cheap perfume or even cheap meals. Just chat them up, tell them you're looking for a companion and see who bites.

In Medellin I use Facebook to find what you're looking for. I don't consider them to be semi-pros, but the typical experience for me is what you described. Prices run from 150 k-250 k or more, but most I've found will hang around for an hour or two.

You will want to discuss a price beforehand. If not you're likely to have problems.

No one in my novias family goes anywhere alone, always with her mother and brother, and never at night. I know of so many nightmare experiences from friends and It can happen anywhere at any time. The best way to ruin a trip is getting mugged, beat up or worse. Take an Uber or taxi it's not that expensive and it will be the best 7000 pesos you ever spent.

I've been walking around Santa Fe at night for years and nothing has happened to me yet. But it could just be dumb luck that's about to run out. A lot of cab drivers warn me not to go there because they say it's extremely dangerous. I'm just prepared if I get mugged and losing the $150 US I have on my isn't a big deal, since I keep my credit cards in the hotel safe and have hidden money on me to get a cab ride back to the hotel if necessary.

I haven't really noticed an increase is danger in the Santa Fe area, but I have noticed a large increase in unemployed people in the city. There are dozens of shoe shine guys in rich el retiro area, where previously I would only see a few. You're constantly being harassed by people trying to sell you things like watches and belts. In Santa Fe, the touts have become more aggressive trying to pull you into their clubs, where they will follow you and try to get you to immediately buy a drink to get their cut. But I just leave if I don't say anything I like and tell them maybe later.

Every club has it's pros and cons. In Faces Dos in Medellin, the girls stripping on stage will come and ask you for a tip every ten minutes. This is annoying enough that it often pushes me to other clubs to avoid this harassment. In Santa Fe it's the touts that are the constant harassment you can't avoid. And each club has like 3 of these guys. The only club that doesn't have touts is Fiebres, since everyone knows it's the place to go and they don't need them.

A little off topic from the original post, but one thing I thing I've learned from these one week trips is that I should probably visit multiple cities instead of staying in one place all week.

Santa Fe is really the best bang for your buck, and I just can't stand the bait and switch and flakiness of the online escorts, so I'll keep coming here. Flights between cities in Colombia are cheap, so next trip I'll probably visit multiple cities including Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. Cali and Santa Marta are on the to do list.

The biggest mistake I see, in my opinion, is not going back to your hotel after the first session. You were already in a negative frame of mind, which made you more likely to react to another negative experience.

I don't know how well you speak Spanish, but if you have special requests, like the baby oil, you might want to learn a detailed sales pitch, so you can be absolutely certain everything is understood before heading to the room.

If it was me, I would expect an added charge for any uncommon request. First, it's obviously somewhat important to you, otherwise you wouldn't be carrying around a bottle of baby oil. If it's important to you, she has some leverage. Second, does your request require more time, effort or risk on her part? If so, it's reasonable she would want extra. Whether you put baby oil on her, or on yourself, it's still going to end up on her. She'll need to spend at least a few extra seconds washing it off. Then there's the problem with baby oil on the sheets, towels, maybe on her clothes, or in her hair.

If you had taken that into consideration and expected to pay a bit extra you could have had a good session and avoided the second frustrating encounter.

The second session I can't help much with. Whoever runs the short time rooms probably sets the time. The quicker they get you out, the more money they make. Perhaps, in the future, talk to the person at the desk before going to the room and clarify with them how long you will have.

Another of my opinions is that telling a working girl she lied won't ever be helpful. I've been down that road before. The best you can do is just walk away and go get yourself in a better frame of mind.

I also had a bad session with a Colombian last night. Most sessions with the rare Colombians have been pretty good, but I ran into a bad apple at Troya. She wanted 100 K COP and I countered with 80 and she agreed. Of course she never gave me the 20 K change. Then 1 minute into the session, she was asking me to extend the session to 1 hour, which of course I declined. Two minutes into it she said I could touch her pussy for 20 K extra and offered BBJ for another 20 K extra. Not even sure if she was going to do it even if I tipped her. We discussed what she would be willing to do before going up but she flat out lied. After about 5 minutes of attempted upselling I just wasn't in the mood, and called it quits. So 100 K COP for 5 minutes of listening to upsell pitches, jajaja. The good thing is that with the exchange rate as it is, 100 K COP is about $25, so not a huge loss.

On the upside, I later pulled another tall thin Columbiana from Fiebres who spoke pretty good English and had probably the best and most freakiest session of my life. After the first 20 minutes, I had no problem paying another 100 K COP for another 25 minutes. I had my fingers inside all three holes and her tongue deep down my throat, among other positions. She even allowed me to give her ATM with my fingers, jajaja. I almost felt like she was enjoying it too, but probably just deceiving myself. Don't expect this kind of service from every girl as this type of girl is rare. With tip I paid 250 K COP, but would have had no problem paying twice or three times that.

I've heard someone mention that mongering is a contact sport. Things are going to happen, just learn from them and move on without making a big deal of it. It's hit and miss with these girls, but the ones that provide bad service don't get repeat business from me.

I will say Fiebres and Troya are back up to pre-pandemic levels with quality of girls as there were about 10 girls that I'd classify as 8 or above in Fiebres. The amount of guys there is a bit less as I could always find a seat if I wanted to, which is a good thing from my perspective. Pre-pandemic Fiebres was standing room only almost every night. The cops come every night now around 1 AM and they clear the streets and force people either into a club, or to the side streets. I still haven't figured out the purpose of this, just seems stupid. They came into Troya and starting asking people to give them their phone numbers, not sure what that was about.

Went to Lidos and Mezzine in the north a couple days ago and plan to write a report later, but just wanted to mention that you can pretty much get the same thing as Lidos in Santa Fe for 1/10 the price. No reason to go to the North clubs.
