I was hoping to return to Bogota for a fourth visit to Santa Fe but then heard about Colombia's new vaccination mandate coming into effect in the middle of the month. Aside from the question of whether or not they will accept paper CDC cards from the US, and the potential hassle and risk of walking around Santa Fe with it, I am also concerned about what if any implications it would have for Santa Fe, particularly the clubs. I assume (correct me if I am wrong) that the vaccination rate is low among the girls there; would it shut them out of the clubs and thus reduce the talent pool there, like what happened in Germany with the FKKs? Would it push them out into the street scene? Would the vaccination mandate apply to the short-time hotels that the street girls use too?

Of course, all of this is a moot point if no one in Santa Fe enforces the mandate, which I could certainly imagine. What do you expect to happen?

I am headed back to Colombia in January for my third time. I stay in Cartagena. There is a nice hotel in the walled city not far from the Clock tower and the triangle of pussy bars. I love it. Arrived late last night checked in at San Francisco hotel close to Santa Fe. Was super tired so didn't go to out last night. Just a quick note to remind folks to be careful around Santa Fe. I don't spend much time in Bogota but was passing through last weekend. Spent a few hours down there. No problems. Then left. Moved up a few streets and I was in the process of getting an uber when a couple of cops on a bike pulled up in front of me. Checked my pockets and asked for ID. I had ID but I had it stashed alongside a fairly substantial amount of cash separate from my pockets.
