Today I checked out some parks and scoped out areas for future stays. I liked the area around parque Virrey.

It's worth exploring if you're here for a month or longer. I use the same approach for Tinder, SA or Bumble. SA has 50/50 as far as pros vs non-pros, Tinder is like 80% pros, and Bumble is by far the best I'd say 90% non-pros. 1st day in BOG was great (see prev post). 2nd day not so much.

I went to Santa Fe around lunch. What a dump. I knew it'the be sketchy and not a nice part of town, but to actually experience it was a bit depressing. I've read the reports here going back 6 months, and nobody mentioned all the feces on the sidewalks. Makes sense though, who would? Reminded me of downtown San Francisco.
