After visiting Bogota for my cherry trip in July 2023, I'm planning my route back from the other side of the planet (Australia).

One thing I did in Santa Fe last time was focus on the clubs. Woodman09 was a great help! This time I want to focus more on the street girls.

In the clubs, you have the short sessions which I enjoyed, but then you can't clean up, take a shower. Also, with the street girls, I'm still a bit concerned about being alone in a room with a chick in a dodgy hotel. I haven't read of any problems, but it wouldn't be hard to be put into a bad situation.

What I would prefer, is to find a short time - 12 hour? Hotel which is 3 minute walking distance to the street girls, so then I can negotiate a longer session 30 - 45 minutes, a more intimate GFE, then kiss them goodbye, have a shower, chill on my phone for a few hours then head out to the street to do it again, at my own pace. Then go back to my nicer, quieter Hotel / AirBnB and sleep alone. Anyone know a place like that? I had one in my notes but I took too many notes as can't find the details.

There's a place like that on Calle 24 just east of Caracas. Its the place with the Jacuzzi on the top floor and other rooms with saunas too. They rent it in 3 hour blocks but I'm sure you could pay for 12 hours if you wanted. Last time I was there it was 70 mil for 3 hours in the jacuzzi room.

1st day in BOG was great (see prev post). 2nd day not so much.

I went to Santa Fe around lunch. What a dump. I knew it'the be sketchy and not a nice part of town, but to actually experience it was a bit depressing. I've read the reports here going back 6 months, and nobody mentioned all the feces on the sidewalks. Makes sense though, who would? Reminded me of downtown San Francisco. Regardless, I was here to sightsee! I saw plenty of chicas while wandering around. Saw some of the roughest chicas ever, but I suppose that comes with the territory. Definitely a few cuties here and there. For those that like to hunt the streets, I'm sure you could find something you like. As for me, I didn't partake.

So next time, I would fly one way and take the bus back to Bogota from Villavicencio. It seems to be more spectacular going westwards as it takes several hours to reach the summit. It's almost all rural, and once the summit tunnel is attained the rest of the trip is built up extremities of Bogota.

On my last day in Bogota, I wandered over to Sta Fe in the morning, like 0930. It's interesting how the girls from the arterial streets move their way up to those streets across from the major clubs until the senior Chica come along later to 'bump' them to their regular stations.

Since the Chica basically work right up to Avinda 19, I even crossed the major thoroughfare to check out the girls of CL 18. South of Caracas. This stroll is often overlooked as it's filled with older or less desirables, but it was were I found my first 'Linda' back a few years on my first trip for the unheard of price of 20 K.

This was early in the Vennie invasion which makes the price so more unusual as she was Colombian. Anyway, I've never seen anything like her from this area since.

Back and of CL 19 , I saw another cute spinner wearing headphones speeding thru the crowds. I lost her someplace but then found her later in front of the hotel the gov't closed last November for hosting minors. She told me that Oral Sex was too hard for her, which is usually a red flag, but she was just too damn cute and I was heading home in 12 hours.

What I said is based on facts and experiences. It's not complicated. A hotel will have a wifi router on each floor or worse to be shared by multiple rooms, and depending on where your room is the signal may drop. That may be ok for pure mongers but if you're running something serious online like a content creator, working from home then this doesn't work.

Colombia happens to be a top country for digital nomad because they have reliable internet service and barely any power outages. This is probably why I'm not in the Dr right now. Most apartments in the Dr don't even come with work desks, plus mult outtages incl power.

I've been in Col for the past 7 months pretty much, and only had zero power outtages, maybe two internet svc issues that were resolved in minutes. Having your own router and hardwired connection is required anyway for most remote job, and even if using wifi, your own connection will be secured, stronger and not shared.

I work in finance plus I'm a daytrader so aint no way I'd risk connecting to a public wifi LOL.

I have been in some hotels that have an ethernet port for wired connection, maybe 1/10; but none come with routers. But all private apts do. It's day and night and not everything requires a debate.

Opinion, fact? Only my experience. Place I'm in right now has its own router and I have terrible internet, up, down, some days good, other days not there for hours at a time. I've had great internet in some hotels, lousy in others. Airbnb's have been hit and miss. But if my job was at stake I would try to have various options to fall back on. Again, as someone commented the connection to the router may be great, but the service that the owner has behind it varies a lot, some have high speed high data capacity, others have minimal. So good to check if possible beforehand.

Flight was on time and I breezed through immigration. What luck. BTW I did see a line for biomig at arrivals, anybody know if foreigners can use it? If the immigration line wasn't so short at the time, I would've given it a shot.

Also, I was a bit worried about altitude sickness but it doesn't seem to be affecting me.

So my plan is pretty much get a different agency girl every day. GFE is life.

Airbnb's are no more predictable than hotels. Some hotels may have great wifi, others not. You could book a workspace at a workshare facility to be sure if reliable speed and service is critical.

I forgot to mention that what you said is correct about renting a working space. Both Bogota and Medellin have plenty of those. They cost anywhere from 600 k - 2 M pesos a month. Either your own small office, a desk, or a private booth. Costs vary depending on hours.

But those are needed if you rent a room cheap somewhere or a noisy area where you can't work. In a normal apartment with your own connection you can save that 2 M pesos per month. Heck my full apartment costs me 2. 5 M a month LOL. Estrato 5, 24/7 security, full kitchen, living room area everything. I can kick back and work in my drawers LOL.

WiFi in AirBnBs are dependent on the individual owner. I've stayed in different AirBnBs in the same building that had radically different WiFi performance. For instance, one AirBnB had blazing fast WiFi while one a few floors down had it's own router but the Internet was so slow I had issues with VoIP. The connection is dependent on what the owner is paying for, so the individual router can be a good thing or a bad thing.
