For a price, can't remember how much but I feel like it was high. Things often change pre covid and post covid. Best to call.

    My Bogota Trip

    Hey All.

I recently returned from Bogota and am sharing my details. I'm 65 years old and I have minimal Spanish, although I am trying like hell to learn more.

This my 2nd trip to Bogata (was there Dec 2022) and I stayed at the Hotel Tequendama. (more on that later).

Both Bogota trips were arranged through Colombian Erotic Vacations (CEV) (it Googles) and they take care of everything (girls, food, transportation, alcohol, tourist tours and "sin" tours of Santa Fe) except your airline bookings. The girls used by them are listed on the website LaCelestina. Co. The faces are obscured but once you put down a deposit, they give you access to a Telegram channel which shows faces. The girls are all 7's and above and they have a separate class called Platino, (9-10) only available through Telegram channel. In December, (26th-30th) I booked 2 girls / day for 24 hours. I found this to be a mixed blessing because the bed in the hotel was a queen mattress and I slept really badly. Most of the girls speak only Spanish, plus "English for Sex". We all coped pretty well with Google Translate. Total was $ 5100. The girls get are also on the food-plan (takeout). I can't recommend the 24 hours (can't see paying for 16 hrs of the 3 of us looking at our phones). On the other hand it was nice to be with 2 pretty tour guides who you knew you were going to bang at the hotel.

The girls were really hot, friendly and sweet, enough so that I scheduled again in February. I was getting, DFK, BBBJ (some balked for an upcharge.) , many are open to Greek and if you pay a surcharge when you have 2 girls they will go full lesbian. ($34/ girls for 2 hours). We were going a lot of 3-way deep french kissing, our tongues dancing in between. (If I was in my 20's I would have blown my load. These girls are real pretty, great bodies, and great actresses!

In Feb, I didn't go with CEV and booked my own hotel (Tequendama). I do have a trip with them to Medellin in April and I was able to sub-contract transportation with them and they handled the scheduling of the girls. This time I booked 2 girls / day but only for 5 hours (6-11 PM) (That was about $350 USD) Some nights I reduced to 2 hrs ($200 USD) and was able to offer the girls additional hours (off the clock).

A highlight of the trip was a tour of Santa Fe with Woodman! He's a great guy and does a great tour. He really took me under his wing and gave me lots of info on the clubs, SWs and restaurants.

Really liking Colombian women!! So freakin' hot.

    Stay safe.

    Chelovec.

However Bogota has finally moved out of the very rainy 2022/2023 season. My preference goes to Bogota. Medellin has become a lot more Americanized, and with it the girls have jacked up prices but all very beautiful. You will need your Spanish more in Bogota but I like being more heavily immersed in the Colombian culture. You will enjoy whichever you choose. Stay safe!
I was talking about the greater Bogota area, or metropolitan Bogota, which (I now looked it up) is 11.5 million, and greater Medellin which is just over 4 million as of the end of 2022. In Medellin this would include Bello, and Envigado, both of which are part of Medellin as we know it. Anyway, they are large cities and you do need to get around by means of some other transportation than just walking. And Spanish would be very useful in both as you will not find a lot of English speaking outside of places that cater to tourists.

I was plannng on revisiting Tijuana or Cartagena but I hear too much about price gouging and buzz killingtons lately so I'm open to new place like Bogota or Medellin. Do you guys have any preference of the 2? I've been reading the last few weeks and it seems pretty even. The thing that is convincing me is the lower prices and Colombian women.

I would usually aim for an airbnb in a nice centralized location. Is there one region (Bogota or Medellin) that is better situated without having to do Uber or taxi. I watched some videos but they only tell so much.

Want to go back to Tijuana bc all the fun is centralized and same for CTG bc I know it but I want to try new things. Flights surprisingly are similar in price so it's not a huge difference in getting there for me at least.

    Anything helps tia.

Man, what a great and informative response -- exactly what I was looking for (and more). Thank you DaVinci40, much oblidged.

I do enjoy the party scene so I'll be aiming to do the weekends mostly in that case but will probably pop my head in earlier midweek too, just to get the lay of the land. By now I'm used to leaving slow clubs soon after arrival, but yes, it can be awkward at times, especially when there's only a couple customers and girls and there is this kind of 'intimate' atmosphere -- your every move is being watched and all eyes on you when you stand up to leave hah.

    And thanks NichoBaux as well.

    2. Is there usually a minimum consumption in clubs or can a solo monger just come in, order a drink, take a seat & chill?

    3. What are the most pedestrian dense / crowded areas near Santa Fe during daytime? I enjoy hustle and bustle of Medellin Centro and like to walk around and people-watch when in new places. Doesn't necessarily need to be a mongering spot. From google street view it seems like the area around Plaza de Bolivar and Universidad del Rosario might fit the bill and looks relatively safe.

    4. Any suggestion about other gringo-walkable, lively areas in other parts of Bogota would be appreciated as well.

    5. Santa Fe short-time hotel recommendations (hot water anywhere?
    1. Yes, you can go to the clubs at those times but ultimately I think you'll walk away disappointed and probably disgruntled about your visit. To give you an example when I went the first 2 times to Bogota I went sometimes between 4-6 pm. I was sometimes only 1 of 4-5 guys with 4-6 girls max in some places. If you can swing it and do something like 7/8-10 pm you'd have a better time. Having said that, if those early hours are the only times you can go then you may find that even though there are fewer girls and it's not really a club atmosphere one of the girls may be your type. But you also run the risk of walking in and there potentially being absolutely no one. No worries though as you just walk out. First time I did that I felt awkward but now it's happened a few times it doesn't bother me anymore. My first night here and I accidentally walked into Club Dubai at about 8 pm because I thought I was walking into paisas. Dubai is usually not busy anyways but Walk in and it's this small room with 1 girl sitting at the bar on her phone and no customers. I turn around to leave and the guy tries to convince me to stay but ultimately I leave. As long as you knew that up front then hopefully you shouldn't be disappointed if the pickings of girls in the clubs are slim. On this trip (my 3rd one here) I didn't bother visiting the clubs before 7:30 pm because of this in my previous trips.

    2. No minimum. On this trip I would usually just walk into each of the clubs (Troya, paisas, fiebre, Antones, Venus, Texas) and plan that I was going to have 1 drink. Had to pace myself or switch between beer and water / Powerade. A mesero from the street will always follow you in except sometimes at Fiebre when you may end up ordering at the bar so just make sure you have 10 and 20 mil notes as a poker and water are 8-10 k. Usually by the time I finished the drink I had an idea of what girls were there and if that club was going to be a good one for the night. Every club seems to have their night. Antones was great for me on Friday whereas the next night it wasn't and fiebre and Venus were better. Also many of the girls will go back and forth between clubs so you may see a girl from Venus in paisas or a girl from Antones in troya, etc. That was one of the best parts as the clubs are right next door to each other you just end up bouncing from club to club and basically seeing almost every girl that night. On Saturday night fiebre and Antones told me I couldn't go upstairs unless I buy a bottle of liquor or sometimes if a girl couldn't dance for you in the downstairs part because it was crowded she would take you up and use on of the seats up there but you didn't have to buy anything for that apart from the dance and a drink for the girl if you wanted her to stay and talk. But in short there's no minimum. If I knew Spanish more I'the walk into more of the slower ones to say I'm just looking and then leave but I felt awkward doing that.

    3. Lots of fun places but anywhere round La Candelaria and the plaza whole area, Zona T, the walk down Carrera 7 from the Ibis to plaza bolivar. Parque 93. There's a few. If you're into certain hobbies or whatever you could also look for shops. For instance I'm into vinyl record collecting and anything coffee so there's a load of vinyl.

Shops around as well as artisanal coffee places, etc.

    4. Don't have any info on short term places. As far as a hotel though you'd be hard pressed to not be somewhere like Hotel Ibis Bogota Museo. There are of course a load of nicer ones further north but It's a short walk during the day and early evening hours to SF, a short walk to the Calle 26 T bus to get you straight to Calle 22, across the road from the museo nacional bus station for taking you up north to Zona T, etc, BBC brewing company a couple of blocks up, the perseverencia market, some restaurants, etc. Also many of the taxi drivers in the small yellow cabs outside the clubs knew where the ibis was or at least knew where the Museo Nacional was. I would show it to them on my google maps on my phone but could also just say Carrera 10 then turn left and they were happy.

Thinking of staying somewhere around there actually, since I like to be in the place that is lively and walkable, with some food options and shopping available. It seems like somewhere south of Estacion San Diego alongside Carrera 7 might be a good choice. North of it, around Museo Nacional de Colombia, looks nice too, though it seems a bit 'wide and spacious' with not so many shops. In general, I'm aiming for max 20-30 minute walk to Santa Fe or 15 min bus.

    4. Any suggestion about other gringo-walkable, lively areas in other parts of Bogota would be appreciated as well.
    From what I experienced:

    1. During daytime, everything's open after 1 or 2 PM, but the clubs are relatively empty. To say the less.

    2. You can always come in, sit and chill. But well, you will not be very appreciated if you don't order a beer or something (and the beer is 3 times the usual price).

    3. The carrera 7 is really a good option. But if you want my advice: very close, you have a neighborhood called La Macarena. Really nice for westerners / gringos, with good restaurants and shops. You'll feel at home and it's a 20 mn walk from Santa Fe. Be careful, it's uphill, though.

    4. If you want to stay in the very center, the lowest part of Chapinero and the Parkway. But if you like cabs and uber, try upper Chapinero or Usaquen.

    Tour guides

Things I found useful in finding a good guide on SA:

    1) English. Google translate gets really tiring if you are doing more than a quick hookup. Tips for finding English speakers. A) Just ask b) if they make spelling mistakes on English words, it's a good sign they are not using a translator c) call them via Whatsapp, many will say they speak English but can only say "Hello, how are you?" d) don't expect flawless English, just look for a grasp of the basics.

    2) Average girls. I've found, the hottest girls get a lot of attention and as with anything when you do it repeatedly they follow a script. The script usually doesn't include being a tour guide. Last time I found an average girl (6/7), minimum wage receptionist that had only had a few dates in year on SA. For very little compensation (a months salary for her), she spent a few days as great guide, taking me to great local restaurants and night life, and behind closed doors she didn't know the word NO. I was having to create new fetishes on the fly. And she was so very grateful, which I find to be a refreshing attitude.

    3) Just ask them to see you for 1 day, setting up further dates is usually never a problem if you like her. Have a few backups, as they are flaky, you can ghost the backups (they were probably going to flake anyway)..
Online girls do not make the best tour guides because they tend to know very little about the various sights. They look pretty but if you want a good tour guide, go with people who actually do it for a living. There are free walking tours available online with guides who know their stuff and you give what you think it is worth. I have been satisfied with the free walking tours which are given by guides who speak fluent English and know the history.
