LOCATION: 3 Weeks in as of yesterday. I chose an Airbnb in the North side close to Suba and Usaquen. Man I'm so impressed. The area is quiet and I'm able to work peacefully. So if you're a digital nomad like me I highly recommend this area especially if you're a couple. I say this bc it's a residential area, many one story homes, retirement homes, apt buildings, stores and restaurants. No bars or clubs in sight. But it works well if you're here to work or want to stay in a very safe area. I get starred at when I walk around and people ask me questions like where I'm from in stores and restaurants, due to no other Gringos around. Police stations or hubs are very visible. Food is also great in tihs area. Lived near Chapinero and Centro before and wasnt as good. One thing I do not see in Medellin is that these homes and apt buildings have live electrical wires around the top of the gates all around, with warning signs "high voltage", LOL, like you'll be electrocuted trying to jump a fence. Security here is insane. But as you all know, for you mongers all that shit can be thrown out of the window if you invite the wrong be in and she drugs your ass LOL. I must register a girl in advance to bring her here and def no working girls.

TOURS: Heck during previous trips I never cared for tours, in fact even during my last 5 months in Medellin I never visited guatape. But some local chic insisted to take me to the Presidential palace, plaza bolivar, la candelaria, few other spots I haven't been to. I'd say at least once or twice a year, a good lesson is needed with putas to keep our guard on and remind us that most putas are actual thieves. This is everywhere, except there are some establishments where you can report them and you'd get your money back, or places like the DR where the police is mostly on your side. (don't have money out, phone, etc). There isn't just one way to stay safe, but everyone who fall victims usually have one thing in common, they were an easy target. CLUBS / CASAS / MILEROTICS: Visited few other spots closer to me, met couple hotties in Club Sixty Nine. Found that club after I visited a girl from Mileroticos. Good report. I'm glad you are having fun. The prices in the Santa Fe clubs are quite high on a per hour basis. I similarly got quoted 150 k for un rato and 240 k for 30 minutes, all covered at Troya which I rejected. The girl was hot but it just isn't worth it. For 480 k / hour you can get a semi-pro on seeking. IMO the best value in Santa Fe remains the street girls. If the girl at Troya was an 8, the girl I found on the street was a 7. I think you misunderstanding the purpose. It's not to circumvent a buildings rules. It's to force the clear disclosure of what the actual rules are. And while I do suggest it could cause the host to change their rules - that would be so it would be in line with the buildings.

3. Most buildings don't actually have rules for guests. Most of the rules are set by hosts. I have been in many buildings where one host says I can bring guests but another says I cannot. Security has even told me different things.

4. If you generally look like a local, they can't tell much of a difference. Since Colombians come in all colors, it largely comes down to how you dress.

5. The larger and newer the building, the less likely the reception will recognize or remember you.

That is not a middle class part of the city. Remember neighborhoods are rated from 1 to 6 with 6 being the richest. In Chapinero, the upper socioeconomic class predominates: 45.8% of the properties are stratum 6 and occupy most of the local urban area, 30.8% belong to stratum 4 properties, stratum 5 represents 11.7%.

Middle class would be neighborhoods where the majority of the neighborhood is rated as 3 or 4. And yeah, I think many Colombian women in the 1-4 stratums would have sex for money. When you get to 5 or 6, it is much less likely, but you do not want anything long term with the lower classes. IMO most are too poor to think long term with anyone outside of their neighborhood.

What you (and even I) would generally assume to be true in our home country is not automatically the same in a different country. Anyone interested in a new Bogota map? I'm thinking of starting one. All due respect to the WT69 and the work he's put in over the years and I understand the desire to earn from the work hes put in. , but for many reasons I don't think we should be paying for these maps.

It's in Pereira, a smaller city in the coffee axis, it's not in Bogota. I just was telling Jack Taggart how his script had worked for me.

So my friend is trying on jeans at a high end shop in Zona T Sunday evening, and I start chatting to these two Colombianas who are walking by, both in their thirties and dressed like regular girls out for a party. We take them to Irish Pub and spend a fun couple hours drinking and eating. The one I'm sitting next to is showing some cleavage and letting me get kind of touchy. The one with my friend nicknames me "the octopus" because l'm all hands, plus she's a smoker.

My friend makes some gentle inquiries as to whether they're pros, but somehow I convince myself they're civilians (wtf was I thinking). The result is that once we have them back in our two bedroom AirBnB, mine says she wants to be paid. First it's $200 US, then $100, and I counter with 200 mil pesos and we agree 300 mil.

I stick my dick in her face and tell her to suck it, and she responds, "Oh that's extra. " I realize that this is not going to work out, so I tell her to get the hell out.

My buddy wants to keep his. I'm mad and eventually get mine to leave, walking her down (which is required by building security, a good thing. They have a record of her ID), not paying her a penny. She's mad too.

The second girl stays the night but my friend said she was terrible. He gave her $100 US. She also reports that my girl has been texting, that she had gone to work at the Olimpo VIP, and bragged that she fucked two clients there that night.

This is the first I've heard of picking up hookers in the upscale Zona T bars. Lesson learned.

Consider yourself lucky you weren't drugged and robbed. There are plenty of girls in bars in such places looking for guys "ready to party". Maybe what saved you was the airbnb and the security they had. A friend of mine was drugged with scopolamine and robbed, and they even woke him up to ask him where his laptop and phone chargers were. They just took small stuff it could fit in a backpack, but still the risk of being robbed by a more organized band that would max credit cards or even kidnap you are too big. Moreover, with all those venezuelans around feeling they could do whatever because if they are caught there is no way to prosecute them if they don't have papers. Legal system in Colombia sadly sucks.

She said I can receive guests under my own responsibility. I take that to mean I can bring whoever I want into the Airbnb at my own risk (I. E. If I get scoped, robbed, or found dead it's my own responsibility, they are not responsible)...

It's a smaller place with a mini kitchen, flat screen TV and a mini fridge, hot water in the shower, with 2 beds and a private entrance. She said she can take out one of the beds and put a desk and chair in there for me to be able to work and she can add a coffee maker LOL.

The place has a real good location on Cra 8 between Parque Libertad and the other park along the same CRA. According to WT69's maps both parks have street talent so I'll be equidistant to 2 different venues for street meat.

Glad to hear it. One general suggestion is to consider adding the overnight work friend aspect in there too. You could also consider getting the work desk and chair for increased options for sex positions jaja.

My theory is to protect against a building that might not care about day time guests vs night time ones. I have no facts to support that though. Doesn't sound like it matters based on her response, but just wanted to better explain my reason to have the two guest scenarios.
