Rude, at least I've never paid 20 k for a 'snapshot'. I've read enough reports before going to Bogota to know I didn't overpay for the girls. I always used ATM years back because I didn't want to carry large sums of cash, but I closed my Schwab account with no ATM fees so I was always hit with fees using my Credit union acct. Davi, I'm told has no fees but I can't confirm that. The Combia in the airport was the worst for years but all of a sudden after Covid they got aggressive and started giving a rate much closer to the official rate. I think it's because they want dollars because the USD keeps going up. For the last year or so I use the cambio inear baggage I bring hundreds and hope in my friends car and head to the hotel.

I use Davivienda ATMs as my primary source of pesos. However, I also bring a few hundred dollars as a backup. If you're going to need immediate COP, bring $100 and convert it at the cambio by baggage claim.
