I have not heard of any drugging in Bogota lately. One guy I showed around about a year or 2 ago may have been, never got a clear understanding of what went on.

I have heard of many drugging in Medellin. Seems like I read about druggings 2-3 times a month. On FaceBook Medellin groups. They even had a Medellin group specifically covering this topic (which seems to have disappeared).

Seems like it happens with Twitter girls a lot there.

I usually have my fun at clubs and hotels so have not run into any problems, I remain vigilint.

Just my two cents. But in order to cordinate anything you are going to need to get a subscription here to accomplish what you are looking for. I never had a girl who wanted to send me pictures (in fact I asked some and they didn't send pictures at all or just 1 or 2 very normal pictures and not sexy one), who asked for meeting up or made any sexual inklings.

Most of them didn't even contacted me initially. I still have at least 30 matches with girls which I didn't texted and they also didn't text me. And you can see from my profile picture right away that I'm gringo. Someone whos doing this in order to scam gringos would at least say "Hi" after a match or not?

Which I also noticed: I always ask the girls for their whatsapp and for sure you can easily get a number in Colombia and use this to scam people. But how many scammers will make huge efforts in for example in posting whatsapp status. The majority of girls who gave me their number are posting stuff regularly so you see its real.

Maybe there are also more sharp practices scammers, I don't know. But I think by just having a critical look at the profile and wait a little bit before messaging and meeting up you can at least minimize risks by this. Just get tinder passport and match with them maybe 2 weeks before your flight.

Anyway: I will meet up with these girls (or at least most of them) when I'm there. And I will let you know if I was drugged and robbed or not.

Tinder dates are probably the least safest way to have sex in Colombia. It's well documented that Tinder is the preferred platform for groups which drug and rob guys looking for hookups.

Everyone on Tinder is anonymous. The only thing you know about anyone you match with is what they have chosen to reveal to you. So what if you have their number. You can buy a phone for a few dollars, the number isn't registered to anyone. If your building has security cameras, they might capture some useful images of the girl. However, if you're expecting the Colombian National Police to be CSI in tracking down some girl who robbed a gringo, you're grossly overestimating their resources and interest.

Scopolamine is used by people who use Scopolamine to drug and rob people. They aren't "professionals" in any way, if they were nobody would get killed from an overdose. While you're correct that the James Bond crap is pure bullshit, it only takes a second to drop some in your drink.

I've never had a problem with getting drugged. I know many people who have never been drugged and robbed, and I know some who have been drugged and robbed.

I don't overstate risks. However, the biggest risk comes from believing you're not at risk.

Anyway I think that tinder is a pretty good way for attractive gringos having sex in Colombia. I've read some detailled reports of people who were drugged on tinder dates and all these guys were pretty careless. If you're aware of this problem and acting with some common sense I'm pretty sure that you can minimize the risk very much. Get the girls whatsapp and instagram, have a conversation with and don't just ask her to come over and see how she reacts in conversation. Call her an Uber to pick her up at her adress. Don't let her come to your place right away and meet outside instead. (but near to your place so when you think its fine you can just walk to your place with her).

I know that this is no guarantee but after I read all these testimonials of scopalomin-victims it was pretty sure that a lot of especially foreing guys are just too careless.

I was thinking that maybe a map is not the best UI to search for mongering activities, maybe a table is better. Especially on mobile. Where you can filter by price, etc.

But I have been pretty busy lately so I haven't invested much time on the site. I also have received less than 6 k page hits in 2 months. I don't know how many of those 6 k visits are unique since I didn't use google analytics or any tracking, just a manual counter I programmed myself.

So I'm wondering if maybe it's a better idea to just remove and delete the project. I also will run out of free hosting soon, but I think it's more troublesome for me to add a payment / donations system than just paying 5 USD monthly.

Pre-Covid there used to be some higher class strip places in the north of Bogota. As far as I recall one was called Lola or Lalo. Most girls dressed like hostesses. Prices were way more than SF, but so was the quality.

Any update whether any of those places surived Covid closure and reopened?

I was there years ago, on Cra 15. I've passed the old location many times recently and is now closed but it may have reopened at another location. The set up was a bar with lots of sofas. The girls were hot but WAYYY too expensive. The drinks were way over priced, you had to pay a fine to take the girl out of the club, basically an over priced tourist trap. I confess I let the little head take over one night and took a girl out of there. I got lucky because she stayed most of the night and the sex was over the top. Not usually the case for a place like this.
