With all the rainfall that happens in Bogota not sure how there can be a shortage unless all the public officials in past did nothing to improve the reservoir system to be able to retain more potable water. These type of measures don't work anyway, all it does is force people to fill up buckets of water for days before their day of shut off, causing water use to increase the days prior. I have spoken to taxi guys, our neighbors and working people in general and everyone to the person that I spoke too want Petro gone already, say he will NEVER stay in office for 6 years, some are already talking of his assassination. Colombia is beginning to remind me more and more of Venezuela.

My take on the women in Bogota. I wrote about the trend of women asking for crazy amounts of money. BTW I'm not saying all my playmates from years back are asking for substantially more but an ever increasing number of them are.

Each section of the city is getting it shut off 1 day at a time for 24 hours 8 am to 8 am. It seems like your turn will be every 10 days or so as long as they do it. You can follow the info on the Bogota website and type in your address to see which day https://bogota.gov.co/.

If your building does not have water tanks, then you will not have water. If your building does. Then you will either have water the whole time, or your building might delay switching the water tanks on until later in the day. Or it will run out depending on your building.

I live in a building with tanks and we never ran out during the 24 hrs-- Most hotels have tanks I'm pretty sure-- and it's a checker board for the rationing.

The hotels in the areas will probably warn you-.

I need to read all the rules carefully.

I am not sure how much you are paying but most of the hotels I stayed in were guest friendly. If you are using seeking, I think you need to do a meet and greet. Where else are you going to go? Again, I think you are frustrated with the price and do not get a bargain you are getting. Go the website geisha academy and look at the prices all over the world. Colombia is the cheapest and it is a short flight away from the USA, and lodging is relatively cheap. Prices are up everywhere and will be until there is a recession.
