Anyone know of any actual hourly and / or love motels in the Zona T area? I will be staying near Calle 85. I found plenty in the 60's but would like some options closer to where I am staying in Zona T. I did a lot of googling but didn't find anything up by where I would be staying. Found the app MotelNow though. I don't plan to take girls I am meeting for the first time back to my Airbnb. I am thinking of adding love motels to the World Travel 69 map. I don't know what's going on there- There were squads of machine gun toting soldiers. Someone I know said there was an incident involving a gun yesterday or today-- It was not clear.

Everything North of 22nd was ordered closed. We actually walked a bit south and the tranny area was open with clubs and bars open-- the South Stroll was closing down when we walked out.

There were street girls still out, not a whole lot-- All clubs were closed. The police were not stopping people from walking around and we walked the strolls but the streets were shut down.

Went to Santa Fe today at 2 PM- holy shit. In the main 2 blocks of Santa Fe, where the clubs are, there were probably almost 100 police officers in riot gear- helmets, M4's, no cars or motorcycles allowed in. Just a few blocks away, on the "South Stroll" there were none, but I only noticed that as I rode away in the bus. I walked the two blocks a couple of times and left. Most of the girls were kind of inside the buildings and garages and clubs. Came by there in the opposite direction at 6 PM and it was still locked down. I have no idea what happened- my Spanish is not good, so I did not ask. They had an officer posted with his back to the wall about every 4-5 doors within the blocks. I always try to weed out the pros, but if you are with a pro you need to be very upfront with what you want and how much it will be. I am an experienced traveler to Medellin. I have been there many times but I am now looking at moving to Bogota for a year or possibly more. I have a fairly simply question.

I would like to live in an area that's at least somewhat decent for an ex-pat but also with options to walk or short cab ride to monger options. In Medellin I would say the Laureles neighborhood is great for this. Fairly safe and quiet but with tons of working women options all over the area.

What would you guys suggest for Bogota?

Anywhere near Parque El Virrey or Zona T are good. It's a more upscale neighborhood with proximities to many good restaurants and places to eat. Also pretty quiet and safe neighborhood too.

In Bogota I like Chico Norte. A short taxi, Uber or indriver ride away from most areas you can monger. Anything you need is close by, restaurants, banks, ATM's etc. SF is a short ride away as are many casas and Mezzanine. There are 2 excellent malls close by, Andino and Unicentro Bogota. The best thing I like about this area is if I want to go out later in the night to get some wine or beer or something to eat is it's relatively safe to do so. I won't stay in an area that I would not feel safe going out at 10 pm to a tienda. Stay safe.

Talking about SA, let me share a little experience I had with one of them. Back in rookie days, had this one girl come to see me in BOG.
