Is it just the US tourists or inflation plays a role also? Things has become more expensive all over the world in the last 3-4 years.

I think it is a combination of several factors. There is no doubt that global inflation has played a part. The general FX trend for the major currencies vs COP is that COP is weaker, in theory you get more bang for your buck, so to speak. The past 12 months, COP has strengthened, so that plays a part in making things more expensive. However, I have definitely noticed an increase in girls quoting USD upfront whereas it was less common a few years ago. I like Villavicencio or Villao as the locals call ity. I was there back in February and I stayed at a hotel right across from the exito grocery store. It was real cheap like 35 mil pesos per day for the hotel and it was actually pretty decent. No air-conditioning but it had these big ass windows right by the bed that let the breeze in and a strong fan blowing directly at the bed too so when I was laying down it felt good and a slept well.

Multiple drivers wanted 10,400 so I just took that as my base taxi fare and did 15 k total with tip. After each night the taxis are plentiful on the road where all the clubs are on. Just walk out and tell a mesero you want a taxi and you shall get one. Last time I was in SF one driver wanted 20 k for the ride from the clubs to hotel ibis and seeing that it was about 2 am then I just did it. This time though every driver was happy with my 15 k.

SG's: plenty of them and some very cute ones. Sometimes the girl will also come into the clubs. I just looked it up on Google for you or anyone else interested in visiting this weekend getaway destination that's 3 hours by bus from Bogota (terminal salitre).

The hotel is called Hotel Serrania Real and the address is.

CLL 37 A # 29 - 63, Villavicencio, Meta Colombia. And as I stated it is right across the street from an exito grocery store and has various restaurants and street food nearby and is about 2 or 3 blocks from parque El Hacha where you can find street girls from 40 k - 50 k.

Here's some screenshots. When I stayed there it was 35 mil per day looks like Google says it is 44 mil now but I'd call and verify because Google often has the prices wrong.
