I am not a spanish speaker. So what is the best way to communicate with SW in Santa Fe?

Is it advisable to use Google Translate with SW? It means I have to carry my phone with me and use it on street to communicate with SW. Is it safe?

Having a phone and using Google translate would work in Casa or club, but the same can pose a robbery / theft risk in Sante Fe.

I am thinking of having few flash cards with pre-translated spanish text, so I can communicate with SW without phone translator.

Need advice and recommedations from other mongers who have tackled the communication issue with Santa Fe SW.

Yeah, there is a problem with the data. All the countries right now that have 100,000 cases per million right now (save for tiny Georgia) are heavily vaccinated. In real life, though, I am seeing more infections among the unvaccinated than vaccinated. So I am like WTF is really going on?

Learn to say and understand the numbers. Use google translator to learn some simple words like "how much". The girls will understand even if the sentence is not complete.

So basically you're going to take a girl up without agreeing on anything specific, maybe a price that will already be higher than average, and then once you get up and have to use the translator to explain what you want, then she's going to again charge more than she usually would because she already has you as a customer. I don't know the scene very well but maybe your best bet is to bust out the translator after you get out of the street but before you pay for the room or anything else. You'll still pay more, but not as much more.

Thanks for the tip. I am advised by some in Medellin forum that I should use a throw away phone to communicate and try to minimize bad experiences and outregeous upselling. I have done this successfully using google translate in Tijuana, Mexico. In Bogota, I just have to be lot more careful not to get robbed as I will be using my phone out in open to solicit SWs.

Apparently someone didn't get the memo. I can understand how some people didn't notice, but getting the virus also means there's a chance you will not get another chance to get the virus a second time.
