You could do what I did this week, get a room at the Hotel Bosque Chapinero (also known as Furnished El Bosque) in Barrios Unidos / Chapinero. It's a "por horas" love motel, but you can also stay there overnight just like a regular hotel, for a very economical price. It's pretty comfortable (but loud), has room service, and by its very nature is girl-friendly.

I've looked and it seems very difficult to find recent info about guest-friendly places in Bogota (especially in the north), other than the recommendations I've seen online in the past for a small number of places that mostly seem to be near the Santa Fe area, or are very expensive (like the Click Clack.).

I have learned a few lessons / tips on how to make the most of semi-guest-friendly accommodations (ones where sex workers aren't explicitly prohibited), that I plan to write in a future post.

You need Yellow Fever vaccination paperwork to enter Colombia from Brazil. The airline clerk in Brazil will ask for paperwork. Immigration in Bogota does not ask for YF



But for the exemption, I was told you still need the paperwork, stating that you are exempt due to your age.

What a joke these rule makers do. What paper work? I guess your passport to prove your age is not good enough?

Not sure which streets you mean by north and south stroll. Can you specify? I usually do the streets around the clubs troya, fiebre, paisas.

Hey-- The area you are talking about is the North stroll-- Calle 22 to Calle 24-- this area has more hot streetie Sweeties but you can find Hot girls in South stroll.

South stroll is from Calle 19 to Calle 21-- just along cra 14 bis for 2 blocks-- No clubs just bars-- Some good pool halls too.

From CRA15 and Calle 22 Cross Calle 22 heading south go toward Avenida Carracas-- cra 14 bis is just before Carracas by the gas station-- go right and it's a block down-.

Also some action along Calle 21 but it is more less regulated and probably more dangerous-.

Even young people get severe side effects, although at a lesser rate. That's why I'm debating about getting the shot. They put in a live Yellow Fever virus inside you. Is Brazil worth it?

So there's 0.000017% chance of severe complications if you're 60+? I don't mean to sound cavalier but that seems low, we take far bigger chances in other aspects of our hobby IMO.

Brazil seems worth it to me. I'm in a similar boat, I'm not 60+ but I'll be flying from Brazil to Colombia in April and plan on getting the vaccine.

You need Yellow Fever vaccination paperwork to enter Colombia from Brazil. The airline clerk in Brazil will ask for paperwork. Immigration in Bogota does not ask for YF paperwork. For the other countries, you need to check out the CDC site that states all the requirements for all the countries in the world. I don't think Argentina is required, but you need to double-check.

I think the vaccination can't be more than a certain number of years old. I know senior citizens (65 or older) are exempt.

I believe it's good during your lifetime for entry requirements. Also, I believe the exemption age is 60+.

The only thing I've ever gotten shut down on in Colombia is adderall. They don't have that at ALL in this country, receta mdica or no. There is no legal framework to import it, for some reason.

Yeah, I wonder why that is. Maybe Colombia has a "natural" substitute or two that does the same thing. LOL.
