If you are looking at $15 singles you are not looking at high end places. So who knows what the guest fees or policies might be. In higher end places it depends more on whether they will allow guests. If you have a particular person in mind, and you book for double occupancy, you will be fine with that person. If you have extra guests the hotels often have a guest fee.

The only way to know is to ask the place where you plan to book. Nothing anyone says here is going to really help beyond that.

Don Carlos stayed in the Bacata (a new high rise condo / shopping center) on Calle 19 using AirBnb. This guy had multiple dates with many SA girls.

I'd say Bogota is better because it has a dedicated red light district: Santa Fe. Plus most chicks cost around 10-15 USD yes the weather sucks in Bogota but in all it has everything a monger wants. I see hotels can be about $15 for a single person, but around $22 for double occupancy. That's like a third markup. Would it be better off to just pay it, or to get single occupancy and as guests arrive if they or we are stopped by security or front desk to pay then? I'm guessing if I pay for a second person upon booking, when I bring a person after that, I still will end up paying for another additional person?

I'm looking to add a side trip to my upcoming visit, and can't decide whether to go to Cali or Bogota. Seems as if the big difference is climate- hot and sticky vs cold and damp. Anyone care to weigh in as to why one over the other? Some say the women are finer in Cali, others the opposite. I've never been to either, so I'm looking to my fellow Senior Members for advice-.
