OK guys, been home for a few days after a 7 days trip. Here is a full trip report for everyone. The flight to Bogota was a breeze, I was able to snag Delta1 seating for sub $500 so it was a no-brainer and an easy flight. Customs was a breeze, just have your check-mig filled out and I was through customs and the luggage pick up spot in under 10 minutes. There are many ATMs in the luggage pick up area, choose which one works for you, and get some cash there if needed. Uber is not allowed at the airport to pick up directly, if you want to use them you have to walk offsite which I highly do not recommend. It was 35 mil for me to take a black car to my hotel in ZonaT. Before a lot of you haters get started on "YYZ overpays for shit". I frankly don't care so save it. The hotel was nice, got a suite there and paid sub-$100 a night which included a full breakfast daily with English-speaking employees. The hotel was guest friendly, but I just made sure not to bring back girls who were clearly prepagos. Anyone I was with I would ask them to dress like a lady and I had zero problems.

I did a mix of clubs, Bumble (which is great for non-pros if you are least semi-attractive), and visited Santa Fe once. I did the Woodman tour and would highly recommend it. Santa Fe is a spot I would never go to down by myself, and it's not that I was afraid there, it's just dirty and disgusting. I'm picky, and even if I know who I want I will make them wait. You shouldn't have to explain why you're spending your money as you see fit, well, as long as you're not grossly overpaying or give outrageous tips because that does have a potential to raise prices. But as long as you don't make them reevaluate (LOL) their price tags who gives a shit? It's your money. As to airfares or lodging costs, I don't think it's anyone's business to begin with. Just like you, I don't have months to explore the scene, and I won't try to pinch pennies by staying in shitty hotels.

The Centro street scene in Medellin had evidently taken off due to slow business or closures at the usual indoor venues, health concerns about those indoor venues that were open, and general post-lockdown economic hardship. I had thought, as I planned my Medellin trip, that Internet pipelining would be the most fruitful form of mongering during a pandemic that had pushed so many other forms of labor and leisure into virtual settings. It did not occur to me until I saw the rebirth of the Centro street scene in Medellin that "outdoor mongering" would be another lifeline for this business, in much the same way that "outdoor dining" has been a lifeline for many struggling restaurants. Colombia's other main "outdoor mongering" venues are Bogota's Santa Fe district (in part) and Cartagena's Clock Tower. Cartagena is not my cup of tea, so Santa Fe was the obvious choice for my next trip.

I was in Medellin all of October and went to Centro several times. Maybe the street scene hadn't picked up as much as when you were there. But it was pretty much the same as its always been in my opinion. Pretty abysmal. And doesn't have anything on Santa Fe.

The general contours of Santa Fe's landscape remained much the same as before, except for the disappointing closure of Atunes during my visit. That daytime / happy hour club was one of my preferred spots in Santa Fe and yielded many of my best sessions during my previous two trips.

I agree this his a huge blow. Atunes was a staple of my Bogota diet. I miss it.

The biggest and most significant shift seems to have been in both the numbers and the quality of the girls working the street, relative to the clubs. There has always been significant overlap between the street girls and the club girls, in contrast to the sharper distinctions between street girls and club girls in Tijuana. As they always have, many Santa Fe girls go back and forth between the street and the clubs as they see fit. It seemed to me that post-lockdown circumstances have shifted some of the talent pool, including some of the hotter girls and the better performers, away from the clubs and toward the street. I asked some of the girls about this observation, and some of them said that: a) working the clubs had become less profitable because guys had less money to spend and thus went more frequently for the cheaper option of buying pussy off the street; and b) they and some guys were concerned about the health risks of the clubs' often crowded indoor environments. This shift marked an interesting parallel to Tijuana, where the closure of clubs by the authorities forced many club girls to work the street for a fraction of what they earned at the clubs, as I saw when I went there earlier this year.

In my opinion, the hotter girls are still in the clubs. I was in Santa Fe in Sept 2019 and compared to now, the street scene of Santa Fe is about 60 to 70 percent of what it should be. Atonis is about the same. Troya, has taken a hit. It used to be that you'd go to troya on a Friday evening and there would be a tons of guys, but there were also a decent number of girls. Nowadays, troya is hit or miss. There are always a lot of guys on the popular nights, but the number of girls has dwindled. I'd say its 50 percent of what it was in 2019. Paisas was always hit or miss. Not much has changed there. There's also a club in between paisas that back in the day would also have girls but now is closed.

Some mongers have suggested that post-lockdown circumstances would create a "buyer's market," believing that economic hardship would flood the market with girls, make them more amenable to lower prices, or motivate them to provide better service. As in Medellin, I found this observation to be true in many cases, but wrong in other cases. Economic desperation is not always a good or reliable motivation to provide quality service. It merely motivates the desperate to obtain money, but not necessarily to give good value in exchange for that money.

If there is desperation in the air, I cannot smell it. The girls normally charge 30 or 40 k. How much lower can you really go? Maybe they are a bit desperate, and they'll go with your for 35 k instead of 40 k? As cheap as I am, I'm not going to argue over 5 k.

I think generally, what kind of service you get has always depended on a combination of what kind of rapport you build with the girl and how much you pay her. Nothing has changed there. I have some girls that are sweethearts in santa fe. Some that are cold and machine like when you get to the room. I do repeats with the former. Trying them out for 40 k is the fun part. Then on the repeat you can go for more time.

By the same token, many performances were poor and half-assed, such that I might have protested if the sums of money involved had not been so small. The recurring theme with poor performers was that many of them were Venezuelans, which illustrates my point that desperation is not a reliable source of good service. I have long suspected that the Venezuelan impact on the pussy market in Colombia has been overrated, and now I am convinced. I do not doubt that cheap competition from Venezuelans helps to keep Colombians in check, but I do not see any other qualitative advantage that the Venezuelans offer, beyond increasing numbers and lowering prices. My Spanish has improved to the point that I can now recognize the Venezuelan accent, and to be honest I often find it irritating and hard to understand.

I for one am grateful for the venezuelan presence in Bogota. That's the main reason why I came to Bogota from medellin. I find that colombians are more likely to be full of themselves, venezuelans for the most part I find to be more humble. I can sometimes tell the accent, but I don't find it rough. Maybe my spanish is not good enough.

I have now spent enough time in Santa Fe to see patterns in the geographic distribution of the street girls and figure out what works best for me. I have usually gotten my best results with girls on the side of the street across from the rear entrance of La Piscina, which I have come to call "Silicone Alley. " The girls here are often more stacked, thicker, taller, and somewhat older, with stronger erotic skills and a better sense of customer service. To the south there is a higher concentration of young skinny girls whose cedulas you should check before you partake, as well as some black girls from Cali. The skinny young girls are generally not my cup of tea, and to the extent that I did sample this segment of the talent pool, I was often disappointed. I've asked this question in various forms. But I think I'll try again before I go back to an AirBnB. I like clean, comfortable 3* and up hotels with fluffy towels and clean sheets. I also like bringing chicas in without a hassle.

The Hyatt Place in las corferias is brand new and girl friendly. I wrote to them before I arrived and they specifically told me that they would never charge extra for visitors. Its really a more business oriented hotel, so its not fancy but practical. I get the feeling they are used to random people coming in as they hold conferences / meetings here. You can get a suite if you want more space. The breakfast is decent and there is a bar in the lobby if you want to use it. Again not fancy, utiliitarian. The lobby is also on the 2nd floor, not the first. You can enter with your chica and after the guard takes your temperature, you go straight to the elevator and have the option of either stopping in the lobby on the 2nd floor to register your guest or going straight to your room.

Its a 5 minute cab ride to santa fe without traffic. A 7 minute cab ride to chapinero without traffic. Theres a mini exito a block away. The minuses: it can sometimes be difficult to get a cab / uber after 11 pm or so. There isn't much to do in the area unless you're going to some convention nearby. You're going to be taking a taxi or a bus anywhere you want to go. But I spend a lot of time in my hotel room, so that doesn't really bother me.

In Most cases a copy of passport is fine or a drivers license-- Also it is very easy to doctor a scan of passport to change number to odd or even and then print out a b+W copy.
