Did the tour with Woodman last night in Santa Fe. Highly recommendable as the guy knows the area, all the spots and in a few hours was able to see most of SantaFe in an organized and safe way. Thanks Woodman!

Yes, I hope he can get help. He is a real nice guy-- Told me that this kinda thing has happened to him before involving getting drugged in Medellin and some other misadventures.

I saw him drink a whole bottle of vodka on Thursday-- That girl and I had a small portion of that-- he was throwing money around-- They love him at Paisas.

That's a shame, that said, is this poetic justice for the "baller" types out there? That go to the underworld in the 3rd world throwing you petty American money around trying to impress the putas.

They will show you how much they are impressed and respect you!

That's what's important. Also, going on a trip alone, to a place for the first time takes balls. You lose too much time getting to know the lay of the land, much better hitting the ground running. I'll be back in Bogota the middle of January, if your around I'll introduce you to a few chippers (non-pros) I know. You'll never look at Bogota the same again. Stay safe.

Yeah I'll be here in January (and even beyond that). Back in November I saw the writing on the wall with Europe, and realised it was probably going to be one terrible winter with lockdowns etc, so I took a chance and came to Colombia.

There's been ups and downs so far. I've met some great people (mainly outside the hooker areas, admittedly), but getting to know a new place is full of frustrations at first as well. Thankfully I've got as long here as I want. My return flight is booked in April, but because of the virus you can change it once for any reason, so if it's still better here than Europe, I'll be staying the maximum 6 months in the year that I'm allowed to.

Cheers. I was so new, believe it or not I couldn't understand how people got into those clubs for about an hour last night. I was on the street parallel to the actual entrance points, and there was a building saying 'Paisa Club' on it (next to a place called 'La Logia') but it looked fully closed, no lights on at all.

It was an embarrassing 1 hour standing around before I realized I needed to go to the other street to be let in.

Still, we live and learn!

Last night the SGs were out in force-- I really like hitting the SGs more because I find more fresh face college types out there-- much less silicone.

On a sad note a guy I know got really drunk took a girl from Piasa to his hotel-- left his safe open and she walked out with 7 GS-- See photo.

But look at that photo, was that taken the same night? Looks like she was planning her heist whilst watching him get wasted?

Alright thanks. So out of interest, what are the 'standard' prices for a beer like Club Colombia at Fiebre / Paisa / Troya etc?

Sorry if this all sounds like basic stuff, but I've only ever been to Paisa, and certainly wouldn't be going back if 30 k is the standard price for all beers, considering you can get laid on Santa Fe for not much more than that!

See one of Woodman09 previous posts where the half bottle of Absolute runs 100 k in Paisas. Maybe better value over the course of the night especially if the 5 - 10 k local beers have had the prices jacked up. When I wasn't here in March Heineken / Smirnoff Ice (Don't judge me)/ a drink for a girl were 20 - 25 k but I normally tipped the waiter 20 k to cut out the shenanigans. If you go nightly like me a tip so goes a long way to cut out the nonsense.

I can imagine having been closed for 9 months that they would jack up the prices which is why I'm so eager to find out what the girls are charging now.

Last trip I had 2 prepagos over on my last night and one swiped a Moulton Brown travel mini without me realizing. Another just flat out asked for my phone, whiskey, etc. Because it was her "birthday". You can never be too careful as all these girls see is a wallet to empty. This goes double if you're like me and prefer sessions in your hotel over Santa Fe.

Some guys on here will bust your balls for asking simple questions that can be found on the site but just blow it off. My first time mongering was back in the 90's. Spent most of my time in Costa Rica, then Lima and finally my favorite for years, Rio. Once Help closed about 10,11 years ago it was never the same, so I started traveling to Colombia and believe it or not my first trip to SF was with Woodman, a big help for info back then. Most guys will go out of their way to help you. Be safe, watch out for Devils' breath, or scopolamine and never trust anyone. Assume they will rip you off if given the opportunity. I met lots of wonderful Colombians in my travels but it's best if you assume they can't be trusted.

Yeah that was a couple of years ago though. This is Covid time. Last week I was about to get 2 Cokes in Troya until I asked dude how much and he said 20K. I told him to put that shit back. I could have been fucking for that much money.

I think since pandemic, beers like Poker are 10 mil -- Club Colombia is probably a bit more.

Maybe less at Texas or California? Although cheaper bars may not have Club Colombia.
