Excellent report Showdown! The first and only one since March. I even learned a couple of things, such as the possibility to get cash from a BBVA desk with a BBVA account abroad. I also have never used Bumble in Colombia, didn't know it could work. And yes you are right, even if you always can get laid, there is no fun spending time in Bogota during the pandemic. I live here, cannot travel, so I just try to focus on my business and earn as much money as I can in order to spend it again when things get back to normal. We had to wait in along line to be processed for Colombia, while Mexico the Dominican Republic and other countries were flying through because they did not require a PCR. Colombia is causing so much trouble and expense for a lot of visitors an nationals alike.

Mexico has no covid restrictions. In other words, one would imagine there's a higher chance of a Mexican bringing covid with them than an American or Canadian. Yet Mexicans didn't need a PCR test? The mind boggles.

(I say "didn't," need a PCR test because apparently the PCR test requirement was or soon will be removed.).

They attack you because you give them the opportunity to do so. Will they attack for example in parque Lleras? No they won't. Will they attack inside a mall? No. Will they attack in a small alley even if you have eyes on your back? Probably. Do your eyes save you? No.

I wouldn't be so sure about where you won't get attacked. One afternoon in Medellin last year, at about 4 or 5 PM, one or two teenagers or young men were threatening another guy about the same age. One guy had a knife raised and slashed downwards multiple times threatening the guy. This went on for about a minute that I saw. Mind you, a crowd had already gathered in a semi-circle around the guys. Just watching. Probably thirty or forty people just standing back like ten feet watching. Many many others walking past each way. Minding their own business. This all happened just off Las Palmas on the pedestrian only street Junin, in centro.

I watched too, and thought about how rapidly a confrontation with someone with "just," a knife could go very bad, very quickly. That said, with eleven trips of three to five weeks to Colombia, I've yet to have any trouble. I'm white, 6' 2" but skinny, middle aged first trip but now 60. So I stand out as an obvious "rich," foreigner. Maybe my height scares would be robbers off to seek easier prey. Maybe because I never wear jewelry or watches I've been ruled out when thieves have been scanning for targets. I don't know. I hope my luck continues but I guess it could happen that one moment I've fine; next I'm bleeding out while telling myself, "This can't be happening!

And I am not sure about Colombia but here in the USA sex prison, I am not seeing near the number of sick as shit Covid people as in July. Yeah, I know the numbers are as high as ever, but it seems like Covid now is on par with or a little worse than the flu. It sure was not 3, 4 months ago, so outside of avoiding people who look sick and are running a fever, nothing has changed for me.

It's not "a little worse than the flu. " Wasn't 3 months ago and is not today. It's still 10 times deadlier than the flu. If you're talking about the lower death rate, that's because doctors have learned to treat it better. Death rate, however, is not the only metric. There are survivors who will likely have all kinds of chronic diseases for years if not for life.

Let's not lie to ourselves. Simply avoiding people who look sick is not going to cut it.

You mentioned that the pussy house can be visited in the area of chapinero. Is this club open? And is the club just in front of the pussy house open as well? Can. T remember the name but it's a 2 stairs club. I visited those 2 twice in 2018 and 2019 and would like to know of they have re open after the lockdown, I had a nice time there.

Also FYI the chica milenio was already closed in summer of 2019, so that's not new. The casa just across the street in front of the chica milenio closed as well but I noticed that casas open and close everyday so better to walk through the streets to find out where the are.
