This is bullshit. He's just as likely to get kidnapped in Medellin or Cartagena as in Bogota. There is a lot more scoping incidents in Medellin as well too.

Whether or not he is a victim of crime will depend on the situations he puts himself in regardless of which city he goes to.

Both Bogota and Medellin have a lot to offer in terms of P4P it will come down to personal preference which one he prefers to go to. Me personally I live in Medellin and I prefer Medellin but I have a lot of contacts in Bogota too.

Bogot is a lot bigger with more women available but in Medellin it's easier to find BBFS. And the paisas are the best women on Earth YMMV.

My data points for getting BBFS so far is only from using SA in USA Phoenix and Mexico CDMX and I always ask before the meeting and the hit rate is about 50 percent.

I am going to either Bogota or Medellin for 2-3 weeks for "workation" and planning to stay at airbnb (but not getting anyone to come in). I have a pretty limited Spanish and want to see girls (of course). I usually prefer to be able to take a shower (together is an option), and not rush (1 HR). Safety / walkability is important.

Would Chapinero have options to meet my needs within mostly walking distance? My preference would be either spa or an apartment. Is that area generally safe to stay? What are the ways to find the "good" resources? And, finally, do you feel that Bogota would make a better base for such a trip?

With women, it depends what you want. If you want to fuck the hottest hookers, I would say Medellin. If you want to fuck hot women that may be cultured and have character, then I would go with Bogota. I was more into sugar babies than hookers and found better in Bogota. I also think the women are less stuck up in Bogota.

Not sure if it matters to you, but you will hear tons of English in Medellin as it is filled with foreigners. Ironically, I thought Bogota had more women who could speak English.

Climate wise, Bogota is like New York in October. Medellin is like South Florida in the winter. Most people prefer Florida but a lot of people like that autumn feel.

Food wise, give me Bogota. Safety wise, I will take Bogota too.

Culturally, I think Bogota has more there and any big international act that is coming to Colombia will have a show in Bogota.

Medellin is easier to get around. But if you stay in the region near the Andino mall, it is relatively safe and you can walk to anywhere you need.

Bogota has a higher altitude and more pollution, so it is more likely to fuck with you health wise than Medellin. Sometimes I am fine when I go. Others, my nose is nonstop dripping or congested.

Bogota's airport is bigger and harder to get around in. Of course, it has way more flights. Medellin's airport is smaller and easier to manage but it is like a half hour at least from downtown.

On the shower thing, Colombians do not seem to put a high priority on hot water. IMO it is not a Bogota / Medellin thing. Any decent hotel will have hot water, but if you are going the apartment route, you want to look for one with a shower that has its own hot water heater. They run $20 to $40 and a lot of Airbnbs have learned to install them.

Planning to visit Bogota again and night options were lacking since all northern clubs were closed.

Can anyone recommend high end places to visit night times?? Santa Fe is cool but it gets little old to visit each nights.

Last 2 trips to Bogota went to Lidos and a couple other clubs. The girl in Lidos are a notch above. Very expensive but I had fun.

Eroticasbogota had a couple nice girls.

Olimpio was soso but there are a couple cuties past midnight.

Visited Bogota in recent months and finally writing the trip report.

Been to Medellin and Cali on a regular basis but whatever reason, never been to Bogota so hope it helps any newbies.

Weather- Cloudy on most days but wasn't too bad. Just need a light jacket at night.

Airport- Official taxi line was insanely busy and ended up using the Uber. Read a few reports that Uber wasn't an option but they pick you up at departure area on the second floor and works very well.

North Clubs- Was highly disappointed. The price is high and girls do not look good at all. Most of clubs visited were empty and charged Heineken beer 60 k even menu shows 50 k. Just got the vibes that they wanted to upcharge the gringo so never session.

Mezzanine- Asking price 180-200 k with average looking girls. There is Dann Carlton hotel down the street and check out a massage parlor right across street which had some decent girls and cheaper at 150 k.

Abejitas- 190 k and only two girls available when visited. The girls were wearing professional massage uniforms which hide the body lines. Wouldn't recommend and place smell like vinegar.

Absolut spa- Was my favorite spot. The girls have silicone look similar to Loutron in Medellin. The price was 320 k or 350 k room with shower. Everything was covered and girls offer BBBJ for stupid extra money which I didn't partake.

Loutron- When visited in December, price was 370 k but now 450 K? Not sure if they are related to one in Medellin but the girls look horrible. Maybe it was too early in the afternoon but visited twice and the selection was bad both times.

Pussy House- Visited original location back in December and new location this time around. New location is very nice and spacious but hardly any girls are there. Visited Friday and Saturday night.

La Forty Nine- Apparently, the owner of this club went to prison so clubs is closed. There is a club right next door but it's not worthy.

Nanxing Spa- Very nice room with shower. There were many girls available but didn't see any stunners. The price is 330 k.

Divas Spa- 150 k and girls looked rough.

Sensity Spa- 200 k and many girls on line-up and they have more like next door look.

Santa Fe- Took me by surprise how good some girls looked in the clubs (again, l like silicone look). Did not partake in the street girls and just hung out in the clubs. Many advised that picking up the Uber is an issue later at night but didn't have much issue getting the ride back to the hotel which was located by Parque 93. Is this place kind of dodgy? Yes but not as bad as you think. Noticed it is bit of challenge to have the girls agree to BBBJ and CIM but kind of understand why since girls take many clients. And, saw some girls that I have been with other Colombian cities which was kind of funny.

Custom tailor suit- There are quite a few custom tailor suit stores in Parque 93 neighborhood and 3-piece suit cost around $600 USD which was amazing.

Final thought- Liked the city and felt safe just walking around. The city is very trendy and different vibe than Medellin. Just wish there were more options for nighttime since most of clubs in North have closed down. As other member mentioned, BBBJ not being standard service like Brazil is annoying. Would give the city another try but will need to search more for new places and options.

The usual South to North stroll at 8 am. Sparse action but eventually found a Venny in the North. Usual 40 k plus 10 k room.

I wanted to change things up and try Tantra again at 1 pm but the gate was shut and locked. Nobody home. I guess you have to check if they are open on slow days. A rolo on a moto pulled up to encounter the same problem. I texted their Whatsapp on their website but got no reply. I enjoyed my first visit but decided to move on to lunch.

5 pm, Santa Fe. Found a Venny in the North stroll, Cr 16 and 23. She wanted 50 k but accepted 40 k after "siempre pago cuarenta. " During the session, after starting doggy, I noticed her pooper stank a bit. I should have told her but finished fast and left. With limited Spanish, I wanted to avoid prolonging the session. But, the exchange would have been a better story and I'm sure she would have wanted to know.

I saw better looking ones after I left so I should always finish my route first before picking unless I see a gem.

Based on what you stated wanting safety / walkability, either one are fine. That said, Medellin El Poblado / Parque Lleras and Provenza district is much nicer, cleaner, definitely walkable and there are hundreds of girls out each night. They are not cheap, but with your preference for 1 HR visits, it will be less of an increase than going from a $40 k 20 minute chica in Santa Fe to $300 k Parque Lleras girl, because they always offered me at least 30-45 minutes up to a full hour plus for the same cost. Still, it's a marked increase from Medellin El Centro to Lleras / Provenza and similarly for Bogota Santa Fe.

Regarding danger, I had zero problems walking all over Bogota on either of the 2 trips I took (1 in August / 1 in October). That included areas all around Santa Fe, as well as by the presidential palace, plus up in Chapinero and Parque 93 areas. With limited Spanish, both cities will be more difficult than with Spanish, but there are gringo friendly chicas in both places. The key is to attempt to speak Spanish with them, chat them up a bit, and then if they have English skills, it will come out.

Many great Airbnb with restaurants and everything else in Chapinero-- -- It's very safe-- Not sure where LL#1 gets his info-- also consider downtown in Bacata building or around there- Museo Torre is a great building and many in that area-- near Downtown and Santa Fe RL area.

So many dead Gringos in Medellin -- Very dangerous Gringos are hunted there-.

Just search Bogotá Tourist deaths and then Medellin Tourist Deaths-- you shall see. Good luck.

After my 1st glorious trip in June (for 3 nights, thank you Woodman) I'm finally getting enough time off & a decent flight price.

Bc of the late decision and holiday weekend, round trips with Delta are absurd. Luckily found a skiplagging deal for 1 way ticket to Cali and getting off at BOG for $230 ish and hopefully a sub $350 1 way return to USA with a budget airline. The key is to not check a bag & don't skiplag often, doesn't hurt to give airline a BS excuse so its in their official record in case you want to try it rarely in the future. I'd still have the budget airline flight booked as a return from BOG which should be fine for immigration / customs I believe.

I'm not a pro, and my Spanish is weak but anyone who wants to have a bro wingman for SF let me know. Last time I stayed in a nice Chapinero hotel, worked the spas and SF. I don't think I'll bother with Zona T this time, it was fun to experience but wasnt good to meet regular women. Clandestino Clubs I saw a pair of hot (possibly working) girls but I punked out.

I enjoyed Tantra especially as it was walking distance, but ID rather just go high volume on SF and stay at Hotel Tequendema or Ibis Museo, whichever is the "nicer" one that is girl friendly since there are 3 Eroticas Bogota girls I really want to splurge on, Danna Zara or Marce.
