1. How many girls are in Santa Fe. Is it pretty much back to normal? What about the bars?

2. I've read that Cartagena hotels and apartments are not allowing any guests? Is this happening in Bogota?

3. Finally, is there a reason for all the mugging talk? Have things gotten more dangerous in Santa Fe lately?

There is soooo. Much hot pussy now-- Only streetie sweeties as the bars are closed, so all the bar girls are on the street too.

Ran into some gringos tonight- They are fresh in country and already boned like 10 girls since yesterday- We were walking around there were like 200 or so girls.

Always a new pretty girl.

So flights are arriving.

You have an interesting perspective on life, to say the least. And, you certainly think highly of yourself. I've traveled much of Colombia, from Vichada to Amazonas, from Magdalena to Narino, places you've never heard of, and have never had any real issues as far as thefts or attacks go. Granted, I'm very muscular and have been mistaken multiple times for being Colombian in appearance, but I believe it's my outlook that contributes to that safety record. In fact, I've made many friends throughout the country. Yes, I love the girls, but I also respect Colombians for their culture and way of life. You sign off your posts with "respect for all", and in the same post refer to Colombians and their culture as "puny barrio life", "under developed and conditioned minds", and "they average probably 140 pounds or roughly 65 kg or half my size, so fuck them". Doesn't sound too respectful to me, and maybe that's the problem. After all, you moved to this country. But, maybe you don't care about the geography, the culture, or the flora and fauna. Maybe all you care about is solely the girls. It's sad, but your own prerogative. Every time I come to Colombia, I love hitting up Santa Fe, but I also love to explore the country.

You also have to remember that these guys on the streets of Bogota, or any city, aren't trained fighters. Ask Mike Tyson, who is well under six feet, if height mattered. I've taken out my share of tall guys in the ring, but, this isn't the ring, it's a place where there are no rules on the street. It has the potential to be more dangerous. Remember, if someone targets you, they most likely have nothing to lose. So, why risk it? Even if you're ten feet tall, a knife slash to the femoral artery will do you in. But, maybe that doesn't bother you: "I could care less if they had a rocket fucking launcher". You must be bulletproof.

Whether at home or abroad I respect everyone I meet. If I encounter people who wish to attack me my first inclination is to run which I did once successfully. If I cannot escape and they have weapons I will give them what they want. If they do not have weapons I will react as the situation dictates.

Now the men / ladrones in Bogota are even smaller in stature, because of the altitude, so they average probably 140 pounds or roughly 65 kg or half my size, so fuck them, yes I have and do get medieval on their tiny ass if they so much as invade my personal space which is defined as a little more than an arms reach.

I recall about 15 years ago while in Bogota, a busy street Calle 19, middle of the day and 2 tried to snatch my back pack, one was a rollo and his accomplice was in a wheel chair, a fucking wheel chair! The people around you will do nothing, I grabbed that punk and threw him to the ground as he started to whimper, then the cripple tries to come to his rescue, jejejeje I told that cripple, maricon that if he fucks with other gringos he will end up with no fucking arms to match his fucking lamb useless dangling legs, what a piece of work, the crowd loved the show, hehehe.

They are probably still talking about this spectacle to their grand children today, oh child "I remember back in the early 2000's and that crippled stupid Colombian tried to fuck with a gringo on calle 19", hehehehe.

Can't seem to find a test site they will test a non citizen for PCR and get the test done and results within the 96 hour window. I'm in Naples FL. But will travel to Miami FL. To get the test, . American won't even let her on the plane this Thursday if she doesn't have the test.

It's amazing how so many assume they will get a gentleman's robbery, ie. Someone standing in front of them with a weapon asking for money or other valuables. It might happen like that, but often it doesn't. Often they work in groups, attack from the blindside, rifle the victim's pockets and run. Weapons beyond fists may or may not be used, but there's no opportunity to either resist or cooperate. Now most people think they are too smart to have anything like this happen, until it happens. But in the meantime try to grow eyes in the back of your head and pay very close attention when walking.

Not to start a debate, but as an ex-boxer, tournament-winning wrestler, weightlifter, and occasional bar brawler, I can say with a lot of experience that when it comes to brawling, height means jack squat. It always ends up on the ground. Plus, this dude talks about himself in the third person, total chump in my book. I agree with Xpartan, Turgid, G Trooper and the others on this one. The best thing to do in that situation is to diffuse and get out. It doesn't matter "how well" a person is known, because you don't know who the other guy knows. I'll tell a little story from when I was in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, so gather 'round kids. I had hired some locals as porters to carry gear to a remote cave I was attempting to descend. After the successful excursion, I paid the leader of the group, and he was to distribute the money to the porters. A week later, I had returned to that small village from another excursion, and found out that the man I paid had not distributed the money equally, paying only his friends. I learned the lesson to pay each person individually after that, but I wanted to beat the hell out of that guy. When I confronted him, the village was watching. Even though I had some on my side, and I could've pounded this guy into the ground, I never threw a punch. They have a system called the Wantok network. And even though this guy was in the wrong, if I hit him, I just hit his entire tribe. Then, it doesn't matter how tough I am, I lose that fight. So, the bottom line and lesson learned: When you get into a confrontation, you better ask yourself if it's really worth it, because you never know who the other guy knows.

I have a black belt in BJJ and I totally disagree with you. I 'll tell you something. If a guy with a gun approach me I'll give him anything he wants. And the same goes with a knife. Agreed. Best strategy is to be alert and be ready to flee the situation. If people get too close to you, maintain your distance. If they show a knife, run. I've had to do this in both Rio and MDE. Admittedly this can be difficult in a crowded area.
