Hi guys,

I will be in Bogota (and Medellin) at the end of this month and I have a very specific question.

On my first trip there, I was hanging out, discovering a few clubs by myself, but after leaving, a taxi took me to a place I do unfortunately not remember the name or location. That is where you come into play, I would like to describe the place for you to see if it does seem like a place you know (because I would like to reach there when I will go back).

From what I remember, it was really looking like a house, a real big one, outside and inside. The main room was very large, with tables so you can seat and drink. There was a great amount of light inside (in comparison to dark clubs, it was really bright inside), seemed like there was marble, the ceiling was really high, all this giving the impression of a very luxury place. The line up there was made of around 60 beautiful women at the time I went, in 2016 I believe. I also think that it was on the north side of the city.

The atmosphere was calm, I would not say quiet, just calm.

Does anybody feels like this place remind him of somewhere?

The google reviews of Lido are horrible. I love high end clubs tho. Like Scandallo in So Paulo. Are there good alternatives to Lido? I don't mind spending more than average for a great experience.

Try La 49, still expensive but safe area, good facilities, excellent line up, great service, relaxed atmosphere and no hassle from the staff which is what I hate most in all the other clubs as I don't drink

I brought $600 USD with me and in BOG went to C.C. 93 near Prague 93 and many money exchange shops there. I traded all $600 for 3250 COP/$ not bad.

I think you are describing club LIDO. It is in calle 95 carrera 14. Very expensive place by the way.

I have been a long time monger, but mostly skewed in the orgy / gangbang scene in various places. I was in Bogota week of January 20th and was brought to a club by a local (but one that had not spent much time in Bogota last 15 years) by Calle 96 and Carrera 14. I am not used to the streets yet, so not sure if that is the right way to refer to a cross section. It looked almost like a residential neighborhood and we were brought into what was a pretty giant club. It almost looked like the inside of the shooting scene of the movie Bad Boys for those that have seen it.

Anyways, it was my first time in Colombia or even a club like this. There were four of us and it was a business trip, so I was just going with the flow. We sat down and there were 40 mostly amazing women waiting to be picked. It was a little awkward since I didn't speak Spanish, but my colleague helped me out and I ended up using Google Translate to talk to one of the girls before agreeing to go upstairs. I wayyyyy overpaid at around 300,000 but I was there and it was the last night so I just let things happen. She was super hot though so I was a very happy man. I am looking forward to my return trip next week to compare talent in Santa Fe, but I thought the women there were stunning.

I will probably be returning back 4 times a year for a month at a time, so I am going to make an effort to learn Spanish. I am curious if anyone knows about the club I referenced above and is able to compare it to anywhere else.

My first time in Bogota, before everyone was using chipped cards, none of the ATMs I tried worked. I called my bank, I talked to someone in one of the banks. Nobody could help. Then I found a Citibank branch and it worked fine.

In Medellin, at the end of being there for a year straight, I started having ATM problems. Some ATMs I'd always used wouldn't let me withdraw. Others would only let me withdraw 400 k when before I had always taken more. Got back to the US and continued to have problems. Turned out there was a problem with the chip in my card. New card, no more problems.

If you're using USAA, you should be able to get an account with Navy Federal Credit Union. Low fees and they reimburse up to $10/ month of foreign ATM service fees. I'll let you know later this year how well they work with the various ATMs.

Here is my question. When she was telling me about the 280, she said that one place she works charges 300K/30 min. That is when I told her that I didn't need to know about places because of free chicks. It didn't hit me til later on last night. So today I asked what place. She would not tell me exactly, but said in Zona Rosa there is some disco on 86. Does anyone know what.

I arrived in from Medellin yesterday afternoon and told old girl that I was here. She said she would come at 6 and we could go to dinner. Negativo! You arrive before 6:15 and we fuck, then go eat, then come back and fuck some more. She agreed. Always fuck first guys. You don't know what the future will hold while you are out and about.

She arrived at 5:57. I was in the bed sleep so she took her clothes off and got in the bed with me. This chick was 100% my type physically. And she was just like a real damn girlfriend. It seemed we had known each other forever. We went up to Zona Rosa and ate at La Mona. I always get the ribs there. After eating we went walking around.

We passed by Colombian Pub where the happy hour drinks are 2 for 1 until 11 pm. She wanted to keep walking though. Where did she take me? La Mansion! So that is the place she said she works sometimes. All these years of reading reports of guys going there and spending all kind of money, I had a totally different idea of the place. I had always pictured some upscale house with a chandelier and red lights and plush carpets and nothing but 9's and 10's walking around in lingerie.

What I saw was a 180 from what was in my mind. At first sight the place was an obvious clip joint. It is situated in what appeared to be an old lunch cafeteria. There was an opaque glass door (same kind of door you pull open when you go into a convenience store or something) with La Mansion etched into it. (Somebody really needs to regulate the use of this mansion word.) There is a long bar from like the door until 3/4 the length of the room. And there were a few normal and below chicks sitting on a sofa. I made a bee line to a spot at the bar where I saw a menu sitting. I opened it up and saw some outrageous prices for drinks. 50,000 pesos for a shot of liquor? They had the bottle prices written all suspect. I could not tell if it was 350,000 or 850,000. I started laughing and told old girl let's get the hell out of here.

Why the hell anyone would go there when the chicks in Santa Fe look way better and are way cheaper is beyond me. Gentlemen, remember that if you go inside a place and see no locals, then get the hell out of there. Or you will be what everyone is about to feast on. I can't believe this place even exists. Then again, people are still falling for the currency exchange in airports, so why not.

We walked back over to Colombian Pub, which was starting to get lit. The bouncer said I had to pay 10,000 to get in because I was a guy. I had a trick for him though. I said I am going to pay everything with a credit card. He was like you got to pay the entrance with cash only. But I don't have cash. He went and got the waitress who took us in and sat us down. She went and got the credit card machine and tried to charge me 20,000. I said no it is free for her. Besides I will just pay it all at the end.

I got 2 for 1 mojito and my girl got 2 for 1 margaritas. I told old girl see we have 4 drinks for the price of what 1 drink costs at the rip off spot you took me to. She said yep. We were relaxing, drinking, and dancing having a great time. There were some nice women there too. She saw me looking around and said she had a feeling I would leave her for another chick that was inside the place. Most were with a dude, but there were a couple pockets of chicks in groups wilding out.

It was 11 and I needed to get up at 6 for my flight. I asked for the bill. She brought the bill. 54,000. Just as I thought, she did not add the entrance fee! My girl asked me if I wanted a trio with some chick she knew that was standing outside. I declined. I knew I probably would not even be fucking her tonight.

When we got back to the room, I went and took a shower and got in the bed. She tried to get on her Tinder but those mfs have shut her shit down! Those mfs cancel you for any damn thing. They blocked my account the year before last for reporting transvestites in the section that is supposed to be female. Don't know how she is going to make money now. I told her she could start another with another phone number and email, but she would have to use different pictures. I fell the fuck asleep.

I woke up at 6 and fucked and took a shower and got ready. After she took a shower and got dressed, I handed her the 230,000 that we agreed on. She threw it in her purse without looking at it and thanked me. I thanked her. We went downstairs to check out then she went home how ever she was going and I caught a taxi to the airport.

I asked the driver how much it would be and he said he would run the meter. Today is the day where people can't drive their own cars. They can only take public transpo and taxis and shit. Despite that, there was so much damn traffic. No wonder. They had lanes on the expressway closed for bikes. We even had to stop for the presidential motorcade. It took about an hour to get to the airport from downtown. He tallied it up and the meter said 16,500. Added on 4,500 for airport surcharge and the total was 21,000.

Its my second time to Colombia and my friend and I had so much fun we decided to come back. Started in Medellin for 4 days and will do a second report.

We landed in Bogota yesterday. Went out to dinner with Wingman09. He is a great person and very helpful went to Santa Fe and for a Monday we saw a lot of.

Talent! Clubs were not bad and My friend and I got girls for 70 K and the girls were fun and wanted our numbers. We will be here through Thursday! Lots of well.
