I would doubt anyone with him has ever had any issues so that option is 100% safe and certainly a fantastic eye opener (with dozens of super hot ladies lined up on the streets and of course in the clubs).

Thanks for the reassurance. I'll stick to my plan, and I'll just keep my wits about me. I posted in the Trip Notification thread looking for a wingman. The neighborhood around Virrey looks pretty good. I'll go to the clubs near the hotel until I get the lay of the land, then explore farther as the week goes on.

That SF suites charges $10,000 extra for a guest or $60,000 for double occupancy it is 1 block from the line up. Between 22st and 23st on 16.

I think a lot of those girls would not have a problem. You can see that hotel from the line-up. I don't know about the Hotel Normandie but I have heard of guys staying there.

There is a new hotel less than 100 feet from the line-up on KR 16 named Troya Suites, don't know what they charge there, but probably similar.

Santa Fe suites on KR 16 is $50 mill a night, that is a room with kitchen. A 70 YO guy I was showing around stayed there. He did not even speak Spanish.

Some guys have stayed at Normandy too.

Did not see any super hot ladies on the corners or in the streets of Santa Fe. Did see a couple of young ladies in the clubs, however, that were worth doing.

A lot of fat, chunks, tattoos, skanky nasties, 10 pounds of girl in 5 pound spandex on the streets. Considered masturbation in my hotel room. Most were overweight. Too much McDonalds French Fries.

I don't know if you know what a kilo is, but I counted more than twenty, hot 18 & 19 year olds, all about 40 kilos. I can weigh by sight and know 40 kilo when I see it because I've been picking them up and pressing them over my head in Thailand for 20 years for a laugh.

On the south side of Santa Fe between 19 & 20 there were six chicks on a random wall, ALL of whom fit the above description. Woodman went with one of them at the time.

Saturday night before last, every 3rd girl in the lineup on the corner near.

The red club fitted that description, there was prolly forty or fifty stood there.

There were others elsewhere.

The fatties stand out the front of the hotels, the hotties stand on the streets IMH experience.

You can find Mezzanine location is in Router's Bogota list, also Woodman's post 6793 below.

If you stay at Hotel San Francisco, you don't want the rooms on the street side because transmilenio station is right in front and the Windows are not sound proof.

1. Hotel San Francisco de Assis- Great price of about $30 US a night, but bad neighborhood. You can walk about 8 blocks to Sante Fe red light district but is not safe. Taxi was 8,000 and 10,000 pesos to Santa Fe night clubs.

My last visit to Bogota / Santa Fe I too stayed at Hotel San Francisco, good price and convenient location as it is a 7 or 8 block walk, and free breakfast and free parking for my car to boot!

A big turn off for me are the "barkers" on the streets trying to get you into their club, very very very aggressive and annoying, I actually had 2 or 3 and even at times 4 surround me as I walked by and they followed me for half a block, after 2 or 3 days every night like this it got to the point hat I told them to fuck off as nothing else worked, they were all deff to my "no gracias", after literally a thousand times saying "no gracias" in a polite but firm manner I just tell them to fuck off. It is that bad, the worst I have experienced in all of Colombia.

I'm staying up near Hotel Tequendama, so it's less than 10 minute walk to Santa Fe, no problems day or night.

But I like going down to 22 for breakfast around 6 am and wandering around there for a couple of hours, and at other weird times and I would just prefer to be right there on the doorstep.

I saw a 10/10 black girl yesterday morning and I'd rather be bang in the street so I can just chill looking around, drinking coffee etc and not have to bother walking 5 blocks.

I'm planning a week in Bogota. Here's my plan (after reading 2 years worth of posts and especially the insanely good Bogota FAQ from Oct 2018:

Stay at Hotel B3 Virrey.

First night, get an escort.

Next day, go to massage parlors at Av. Carrera 15 #104-03.

Later that night, go to Lalo's across the street from B3 Virrey. Bring a girl across the street for TLN.

Repeat massage and Lalo's each day.

Just got back into the land of the beached whales (US) from 2 days in Colombia. Recalling my dream:

2. Sante Fe nightclub district- Creepy even at day, if alone and a gringo. Do not walk around alone at night, take a cab to the door of the club and back again to the hotel. If you are Hispanic or with another person, it may be OK.

Was planning on entering, but was grabbed by 2 of the 8 door men who tried to physically push me inside the door. Creepy. I did not like to be handled on my arm, so I went to the cab and left without going in.
