I figure I can put two of the phones on my person, and put 3-4 devices in my luggage (hopefully). I know that Airport Security requires all luggage be scanned including personal items like purses, etc, but they are much more lax about any pat downs on the body. I'm wondering at what point they say too many and require you pay taxes on them.

*I want to bring in these extra 2-3 devices as barter chips for my lady friends. With black Friday here, there are several devices I can buy cheap and double my money with in "chica capital". I just need to get them into Bogota.

I never was in Colombia before and always wanted to go. I prefer to stay at the new places longer than a few days so I could really understand it.

Ditto that comment, with all the chicas I wonder why us guys were not designed with 5 dicks, but after consideration even if we had 5 dicks I would be posting the thought of why we were not created with 10 dicks, jejejejeje.

Everyone has his opinion. You may take 1 day in Bogota if it is a convenient travel connection for you, then split the rest between Cartagena and Medellin. No Cali for you yet on your first trip.

Still, none of this has anything to do with Santa Fe where I have been numerous times each year for the last 12 years and never seen anything happen. I have sent friends there that don't even speak Spanish and they have never come back saying they had seen something happen either. Has anyone here witnessed any incidents in the Santa Fe section of Bogota? I am in no way saying not to be vigilant. I am very vigilant anywhere that I go. Yet and still I have not seen anything happen to anyone in Santa Fe. Not talking Zona Rosa, not talking Suba, but talking Santa Fe.
I have had 2 friends robbed there and one other stabbed when he resisted. He survived.

    Santa Fe Casas on Holidays?

Does anyone know if the casas / strip clubs in Santa Fe would be open on a religious holiday? I will be in Bogota on Friday December 8th, which I hear is a holiday- Immaculate Conception. Would appreciate any ideas of what to expect (from experience).

    Thanks.

Sorry guys. Please disregard. I just found Routard's FAQ. I'm still learning this site.

Sorry for acting like a noob.

    Don.

We try to stay away from FAGs on this board! Routard's FAQ can be quite helpful though! LOL.

I was told it was about $80 to $100 US at the brothels. . . . is that correct?
    1. Not sure about Tinder or Tagged. Some guys here might recommend and give advice on Seeking Arrangements. Otherwise, most would recommend Colombiancupid.com if you are trying deal with relationship-type, non-pros or semi-pros. I personally would recommend Photoprepagos.com or Mileroticos.com.

    2. Uber is the safest bet I suppose, but the taxis are generally safe as well (caution must be exercised when catching one from Santa Fe). The problem with Uber is you can't always get the network for some reason. I've spent 15 min trying to connect to Uber, only to end up catching a taxi. Uber is waaay cheaper though. If you don't learn how to read the fare card in the taxis, they may try to "gringo price" you.

    3. $80-100 is about right for an hour in the most expensive "brothels" in Zona Norte. However, you can get a very high quality girl in Santa Fe for about $20 for 20-30 minutes.

Nice post. I am saying in La Candelaria over Christmas, looking forward to checking out Santa Fe. All I need is one good one (maybe 2).

    First time in Bogota.

    Greetings all,

Don Omar here. I'm taking my first trip to Bogota at the beginning of December. I've been mongering about 5 years in Sosua, the. Are. And Aruba. Last year, I met a working girl in Aruba. We connected enough for me to traveled to Bucaramanga to visit her. Had an awesome time. I'm going to meet up with her again, in Bogota. My plan is to spend a couple days with her and send her back home. Then I would like to order some room service and visit Santa Fe. I've been reading the threads and finding bits of information here and there; so I thought I would post it here. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be cool. I plan on staying in the Financial District (recommended to me by a friend) but I haven't book my hotel yet. I'm looking for some action on Thursday night, Monday, and Tuesday as I will be occupied the other days. I speak a little Spanish, but not really. Enough for a tourist friendly area. What things, other than the obvious should I negotiate up front?

My biggest question is, what's the best way to order room service? (price) My friend used Tinder and Tagged.

Like I said, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Don.

Thanks friend. I finally took the time to read an outstanding FAG about Bogota. I forgot the monger's name who posted it but it truly answered all my questions. I will definitely be visiting Bogota soon.
