Since we're on the subject of taxis, can anyone offer the contact info of a trusted driver who has an SUV? Preference would be for someone familiar with the mongering spots and even an English speaker, but neither are deal breakers. My next trip to Bogota will be with 3 other guys. Do you know what the taxi's at the airport charge to Chapinero?

I paid 69 K white taxi and 29 K yellow taxi to Andino both in day time, which is 6 K further than Chapinero. So, your yellow taxi to Chapinero has to be close to 25 K.

In about 3 weeks, my flight will be arriving into BOG at about 11 am on a weekday. I will need to get to my rented condo located just a few blocks from Pussy House in Chapinero. Uber estimates the fare at a max 23,000 cop. I may be mistaken but I am pretty sure just a month or so ago the Uber price was around 15 k.

I am open to taking a taxi from BOG, but I assume it's rip-off city for tourists like it is in Pattaya & Santo Domingo. But maybe I'll get a fair price as its all regulated with pre-set reasonable prices like I experienced my one visit to San Juan, Puerto Rico??

Importantwhen you get out of the airport is not to answer to anyone offering you a cab (this are individials who will charge you way more than a regular taxi) and walk directly to the taxi station where you queue for the yellow taxis. There is a 6 000 overcharge for airport and a 2 000 overcharge for night or week end, the rest is on the taximeter. Basically, a typical taxi ride from the airport is 30 000. Bogota is not a ripp off city as there are few tourists. As a foreigner they might add 3 000 more for the ride, but nothing exagereted.

So I have gotten alot of PMs. Let me give a bit more clarity. The only establishment I visited was The Mansion which is a swinger club. It was ok. I had scoped out photoprepahos for some time and sorted out my favorites. I whatsapped maybe 5 girls but only hooked up with 2 (work interferred more than it was supposed to). I only walked around the area and Zona T. I didn't go to Pussy House or other establishments.

The host was ok with girls. During our walk through he encouraged me to have parties and friends over. I gave the girls the address and apartment number. The security guards called up with their name when they arrived and I said yes. I would meet them at the elevator and walk them back to it. The gueards when I was there were women, one was kinda cute.

Also, check with your bank to make sure Colombia isn't on a banned list. My slush account was inaccessible Colombia was banned. I also have t-mobile. Free data and text, 20 cents a minute for calls. Uber would take a second to update and missed a few drivers because of it.

I don't speak spanish but downloaded Google Translate and downloaded english and spanish for off line. I would turn on the speech function and let people talk into to to translate. Chicas and businesses.

Got into Bogata around 1130 pm Thursday. My airbnb host picked me up. Great spot. Every girl marvelled at the views. PM me for details. Got settled it was about 1245 before I jumped in Uber.

Went to Tronos, nothing. Not sure if it is closed or just not open on Thursdays. So went to the mansion. Read about the prices. Got in and since I don't speak Spanish* (but speak people) I could see the young guys trying to upcharge. 100 m for beer and 2 girls. Everywhere I saw said 60 m. There were 2 girls a mother was leaving. It was about 1 am by this time. There were 2 guys tag teaming a girl on the circle couch. Sat with Paoula and another girl. Both skinny. I'd give a 5 over all. Not bad looking. Another customer showed and the other girl left. Paoula gave ok CBJ the multiple positions. I left my condoms in the room and the one they gave was too small. So then go to third floor for prepago cost 100 m. Had an OK time. Condom dried out and was too small so stopped. By this time, time to go. Damage was 106 m pesos for two drinks, one for each girl, and the prepago. * Someone offered to drive me. 25000 pesos..
