I won't disclosed the exact Airbnb, but I actually loved this Airbnb that I am staying right now. Before I booked this one, I've had 5 other Airbnb's that are guest friendly. Reason I chose this one is because they have security, the building is more like a high rise unit, I have a very nice view of Bogota from the 13th floor from my balcony (girls actually like it and fucked 3 girls in the balcony anyways LOL) and it's very close to popular nightclubs in Chapinero. The info in the listing is only part of the equation. Messaging the host is the only way to get as close to the real answer as you can. And there are plenty of places that are self entry with a keypad. I'm also in a building now with tons of security guards but I just walk in with my guests and they haven't asked for ID once. So definitely not "every place".

I've had one respond saying " have all the guests and parties you want. I had a party there 2 weeks ago. Have fun!" I stayed, and the host was right! No issues. But I've had no issues with my approach. I'm not directing this at you. But if anyone is randomly booking places just based on the listing alone, you are asking for issues in my opinion. Take the time and message 30 places to find the right one if you intend to monger. Or hell, even if your not always mongering and if it's just friends.

I've had one host make an exception for their rules with me and they notified the front desk to allow me to bring as many guests as I want, all because I asked nicely / wasn't obvious about the Chica part of the equation.

But that's what has worked for me for 10+ airbnbs I've stayed at in Bogota.
