Brazil was great, but prices have gone up to much for me, as has the crime rate.

I liked Bogota. I could easy spend a week or so there, but would run out of things to see and do very soon. Same I would in Medellin. Cartagena is nice, but can be expensive.

I generally change my USD at cambios, available through out the city. These are private money changers. 3/4 days back I got 100 USD=195500 peso.

Mil is thousand. Like 100 USD is now almost 200 mil peso.

I'm going to answer some of your questions here. Yes hotels are required to register the visitor at night. It varies from hotel to hotel, some after 8pm some after 10pm, some the whole day. Even if the visitor is staying for a couple of hours there is a visitor's fee of 35 to 40 USD, again depending on the hotel. Some hotels have a massage service or spa but this certainly doesn't include sex or BJ. That's why if you're staying at a hotel and if you want a full service, there are girls who will come to your hotel (outcall service) and give you the full service which also varies a lot depending on each girl. Ask first, and be as clear as possible before she arrives to your hotel room, and also see what she has to offer and get to an agreement. Zona rosa and zona T are the same location. I haven't found until now any hotel that costs less than 200usd. Do take in consideration the hotels I don't reccomend if you are willing to have a pleasant stay.

Upstairs, a small waiting area. Shown 2 girls at 130pm. Nothing special.
